Cozy house in the country
Located outside the small village of Walton, this rustic country has everything you need for a little getaway. Local lore says that the house was built using lumber from an old dairy that used to be up the road. That dairy is no longer around... but this cozy little house still is - and is waiting for your company.
The space
You can sit in the rockers on the front porch and listen to the brook across the road or enjoy a drink from the hammock on the back patio while your dinner cooks on the grill.
The front entryway contains a large wood stove that complements the house's electric baseboard heating system.
The bathroom is located on the first floor and contains a bathtub/shower, toilet, sink, and a newly installed washer and dryer.
The full kitchen contains a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, stove, toaster oven and microwave, as well as a coffee maker and kettle. The lower cabinets and drawers contain a variety of pots, pans, baking dishes, cutlery and kitchen tools. The upper cabinets contain dishes, glasses and mugs for 6. There is also a spinning spice rack and several non-perishable staples in the cabinets to get you started cooking.
Just off the kitchen is a dining area with a table and chairs.
The living room has plenty of books for you to read during your stay, as well as two club chairs and a couch. (Full disclosure - Gregory was sure to build his library in this house before he had a fully working bathroom!) There is a TV which is connected to a DVD player and Roku.
Both of the bedrooms are upstairs. Bedroom #1 has a bunkbed with a trundle bed tucked underneath. A dresser and shelves stocked with children's books fills this space.
Bedroom #2 contains a queen sized bed with four large storage drawers underneath, two nightstands, a lamp, a desk and chair. It’s Gregory’s favorite spot to work from home.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house and 2 acre property.

The patio behind the house has a grill that is ready for you to use, as well as a large table and seating for 6.
