Bad review

When I arrived to the home the outside area wasn’t clean. The trash was still outside from the previous guest which created magnets. The pool was dirty and so was the seating area. The house had a lot of bugs and spiders.The plumbing was terrible. You couldn’t flush the toilets without having to flush it more than once and the master bedroom bathroom toilet and shower kept clogging up. The air conditioner didn’t work throughout the day, only at night time. The entry lock code didn’t work without having to entering the passcode multiple times. The front door is broke and off track. The grass wasn’t cut. The house in general was just dirty.

Wedding Weekend Disappointment

The pics posted on vrbo are nice and appealing but the stay was a total disappointment. You know when you drive up to your rental and you see a maintenance truck in the middle of the driveway and the tech tells you he just fixed the plumbing there is going to be problems but you hope for the best. wish he would have fixed the A/C but he didn't cause the house stayed nice and toasty at 76 degrees while we slept and at the peak of the day a roasting temperature of 81 degrees. The only circulation was 3 mini floor fans that we had to move from room to room for 4 bedrooms and one swamp cooler in living room that did not cool and only circulated 80 degree room temperature air that did not help cool at all. The THING is so loud that it's impossible to have a conversation or watch the ONLY 1 tv in the house. If you plan on renting this place make sure you bring your own bath towels. The house accommodates 12 people but only provided towels for 4-6 people. There are plenty of beds but the bedrooms are over crowded and unable to access closet in one of the rooms and one of the other bedrooms has no closet at all. The Pool bathroom/shower, grilling area, and tiki bar need attention. They are dirty and not usable. Large water bugs inside and out. It was gross. There were a few good points to the rental. Location is perfect. House is minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, and gas stations. Neighborhood is nice and quiet.

Great place for those with kids but make sure you're expectations are aligned.

We are from out of state and were visiting the Houston area for a family reunion. We were not familiar with the suburbs around Houston and probably wouldn't have selected this area if we were familiar. First impression, we thought the neighborhood was a little sketchy - not the nicest looking outside of the home. Turns out the neighborhood was quiet and it was conveniently located to many restaurants and stores. Walking into the home, all the kids thought the decor and wall murals were cute and we were happy to see plenty of beds (2 in each bedroom). The home was clean. Couple of things to be aware of: 2 bedrooms had a king and queen bed and 2 bedrooms had 2 queen beds, there was one towel per bed (8 towels) but there was 11 of us (max on listing is 12). Fortunately 2 of us took our own beach towels and we had to buy laundry detergent to wash the towels each day we were there. There were only 3 forks - a lot of spoons - and the cooking utensils are thick wood which were hard to cook with (especially with flipping eggs and pancakes). We did the best with what we had, which was better than nothing but we've stayed at other homes that were better stocked. The pool area was nice and clean - the outside grill is charcoal only (not provided). The garbage cans were almost full when we arrived for our 4 day stay - so we really had to jam our garbage in there. There are commercial buildings behind the property that you can't see in the pictures.
