Belgian lime plaster walls provide texture and warmth and a full kitchen and separate bar create everything you need to create an intimate candelight dinner for two.
Want to escape with friends for a weekend enjoying the hiking in LBJ Grasslands, or the back property of Flintlock? There is a vintage Airstream trailer across from the guesthouse with luxurious bedding, down pillows and an ice-cold air conditioner. The trailer boasts a kitchen and undercabinet fridge. The Airstream is included in your stay whether you choose to use it or not, so privacy to guests is guaranteed.
Amenities in the guesthouse include an ice machine, vintage bar sink that was once part of the dairy barn and custom tile backsplash and Poseidon marble floors in the bath. Kilim rugs and seagrass keep the vibe casual but elevated and a custom iron chandelier warms the space. The family also owns a large pecan orchard and fresh pecans are available for sale. Russell Feed boasts an impressive selection of items for those who raise chickens and the local Star C Dairy offers raw milk, eggs and cream available for purchase on the honor system. Numerous Farmers Markets offer fresh, in-season produce and canned goods.
