Best Kept Secret in Port A ! La Mirage Condo Unit 200 is an efficiency vacation rental in Port Aransas, Texas, with just a short walk across the boardwalk to the beautiful sandy beach and breathtaking waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
This efficiency is located on the second floor on the north side of the complex with views of the Gulf of Mexico. Up to 4 guests can enjoy this spacious condo, complete with beautiful coastal-themed artwork and pops of color throughout.
From the moment you enter this completely open-space design, you will feel like your vacation has begun. The large area is a combination living space. It has a queen-sized bedroom set, and the living room has a full-sized bed perfectly placed in front of a 55" Smart TV. Also included a love seat ideal for relaxing after a long day at the beach or fishing trip. High-speed Internet is available for you to stay connected. For additional space, there is a large closet to hang your clothes or place your luggage in. A brand new washer and dryer are located in the utility room of the unit for your convenience.
Stepping out from the sliding glass door, you can see the Gulf of Mexico. The balcony has a comfortable Polywood table with 4 chairs to enjoy dinner or a nice glass of wine as you unwind for the day.
For the avid cook of the family, the kitchen is complete with all the cookware, dishes, and utensils you will need to prepare meals for the group. There are also newly upgraded appliances. A Keurig is provided for the coffee lovers. A large island is between the open kitchen and the living area with a granite top so you may want to eat indoors or play games.
The bathroom in this unit is spacious with a shower/bathtub combo. A hair dryer is provided.

Great Stay

The description is accurate. The pools were nice and floatees were available to use. They even had sand tools and boogie boards to use while at the beach. The only issue I had was the person above us walked all around their condo and had very heavy feet.

We were able to check in very easily and find the room with instructions from the office staff. We did have an issue with an electrical outlet and there was a slight miscommunication regarding the repair, but was resolved without incident. We enjoyed the pool and hot tube area as well as the private beach access. The views in the evening were quite awesome. We would have preferred to be somewhat closer to restaurants and other activities, but the location is great for staying out of the busy highways and noisy traffic. Overall, we look forward to another stay in the future.

Had a great stay! Enjoyed the close walk to the beach, interior set up is great! Construction work started early on sat, which was loud and unable to sleep in past 830a. Everything else was perfect! Thank you!

It was outbid season so we had the place to ourselves. The condo was nice, though the beach view obstructed by new construction. Next door. There was a pipe leak so management moved us to another unit which was bigger. This unit is perfect for two people but maybe not for a toddler.

enjoyed the stay...the beaches, the pools close to corpus. did not enjoy the room, only one a/c outlet. wanted a one bedroom. I will be more intense with my selection next time

Over priced

Booked this place for location. Deceptive website which didn't state that our view would be blocked by new construction and ooh the construction started early in the morning right outside our window!! We did manage a great time on the beach but this place wasn't worth the 750 that we paid for the week.At check out, the young lady could care less about our experience! We're traveled 1500 miles too stay there, never again!

Hi there, thank you for leaving this review. It is important to note that La Mirage is next door to Cinnamon Shore South where they are building a subdivision. This is out of our control. The photos on the website do show the subdivision next door as well. Once again, thank you for the review and we hope that you return and possibly choose another unit.

Weekend getaway

Overall we had a good experience, however there were a few things that were off. The dishwasher didnt work and had rust on the racks. The floor was very dirty, the beds (including pullout sofa) weren't very comfortable, and a comforter had a lot of stains on it, some of which looked like blood. Overall it was okay though.

Great Service Staff But...

The best part of the stay is the very friendly, professional, and supportive maintenance staff! But having to interact with them often during a short 3-night stay... That's something! No door mats, no working wifi, leaky dishwasher, and likely bed bugs in the main bed (bites which we mistook to be from mosquitoes)... But for these issues (which the staff were very helpful in sorting out as much as they could), this is a nice place that could sleep 2 adults and 2 kids - not 4 adults - and is very walkable to the beach!

Good Morning, I do apologize for the wifi issues. During very busy times the wifi can be bogged down with so many visitors to the island. I do believe maintenance was able was able to resolve this issue for you. All of our units are inspected prior to guest arrivals. We have had no issues with bed bugs nor did you report that issue to the front desk. IF you encounter any type of issues while staying at a hotel or condo please report them to the front desk. It is important to us that all of our guest are comfortable.

Condo was great, the property was disappointing

The condo was clean and cute. The stairs were terrible since the elevators on our side of the property were broken. The stairwells smelled bad and nasty. The hot tub was not working properly. We understood the construction but were disappointed they were even open to the public if they were not able to offer full amenities and access to everything.
