Enjoy scenic views of Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountains when you call this charming retreat your home away from home! Nestled on a quiet, wooded, private, dead-end lane, peace is in abundance here. Get out and explore Montana's great outdoors when you head to Volunteer Park (directly on Flathead Lake), hike at Wild Horse Island State Park, and shred the slopes at Blacktail Mountain Ski Area.

Inside, discover an open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen. Stream your favorite shows and movies in the spacious living room on the Apple TV while warming up next to the heat of the gas fireplace. A Sonos Sound System is also available for your use and enjoyment. The chef of your family will adore the gourmet kitchen's gleaming marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, built-in wine cooler, and ample meal prep space. Additionally, a gas grill is available when you'd like to host barbecues.

After dining, gather around one of the tables for a board game, or step outside and enjoy the pleasant mountain breeze from the home's deck.

Both bedrooms are equally comfortable with high-quality linens, homey decor pieces, and central air-conditioning. The bathrooms are just as impressive with their marble countertops and walk-in showers. A private washer/dryer rounds out the stellar interior perks.

The absolute cleanest home I have ever stayed in!!! The home is located in a very quiet area and deer could be seen all day on the property. The view was amazing! And perfect location for all the Glacier, white fish, flathead recreation. I will definitely be revisiting.

Summer in Montana

This house is as it looks in the pictures but better. The view from the deck is spectacular. Comfortable seating on deck and clean, working grill. The kitchen is great. High end appliances and plenty of kitchens tools and gadgets. Large, comfortable dining table with plenty of chairs. Great tv viewing area and WiFi works well. Plenty of fun games and books available for a rainy day. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms were clean and provided ample towels. Overall this house was very clean, plenty of lighting and spacious. We would stay in this house again if we visited the area.

Summer in Montana

This house was located near our relatives so the location was perfect for us. However, it turns out this house was perfect. The view from the deck is spectacular. We enjoyed sitting out there and even cooked on the grill one night. The grill was clean and worked well. The kitchen provided all the tools we needed to make meals. Great high end appliances. The TV worked well, although we watched very little. The dining area was great. Large table and comfortable chairs. Living space is large and couch was comfortable. Plenty of fun games and books if you have a rainy day. Beds were comfortable and nice bathrooms. This house is just like the pictures but better. We would stay in it again if we return to the area.

25th Anniversary

Our stay was amazing. The location was great and the home was beautiful. Loved adventuring each day to all the different locations around Flathead Lake. Then returning each night to enjoy dinner. Perfect place to celebrate our 25th. Thank you!

Loved the house

This home is well appointed and lacks nothing to make its guests feel comfortable. From its spacious kitchen/dining area, to its open great room leading to a second floor deck overlooking Flathead Lake, it was a relaxing respite from a long day of hiking at Glacier National Park. I would highly recommend staying at this house, because, when we come back, we will.

Beautiful house, great location

We really enjoyed our stay in Lakeside! The house is beautiful with modern updates throughout. The view of Flathead Lake is stunning. We enjoyed quiet evenings on the deck overlooking the lake. We also spent a lot of time outside playing basketball and games of tag around the property. The kitchen is stocked with high quality cookware, dishes, and all of the essentials. There is a nice Weber grill on the deck we used a couple of times. We were impressed with the house and how easy the entire process was from booking through check out. I highly recommend this house and we hope to return again in the future!

Beautiful!!

Tamarack Terrace is beautiful. It is set in a quiet area with a gorgeous view of Flathead Lake across the street. Large deck with a grill, perfect for watching the deer or the boats on the lake. Inside is just as great, lots of room, upgraded appliances, comfortable beds and furnishings. Would definitely stay again…

Awesome Home for the Week!

My wife and I loved the house and having it to come back to each day. We were able to visit the lake, Glacier NP, and the restaurants at Whitefish with ease from this location. Will be back again in the future!

A little piece of heaven!

My best friend and I stayed for a couple of days to start off our Montana trip. It was the most lovely and relaxing get-away! The lake view was the best part - we spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying the scenery. We saw some deer and the resident woodpecker. Pros: - Very clean and great decor. Feels very homey. - Porch view + fireplace was amazing - Had soap, shampoo and conditioner provided - Coffee, Tea, Sugar provided - Great location… easy in and out to a lot of places. - Bedrooms nice and spacious; comfortable beds - WiFi worked great - Our flight was delayed, so we let the rental coord know and they responded quickly. Good communication Cons: - No secrets in this house! You can hear about every move others make… doors opening/closing, footsteps, etc. - Embarrassing to say, but we could not get the coffee pot to work properly. We were wishing it was a Kuerig. Some creamer would’ve been nice, but obviously not required. - Rock steps leading to door … we were fine, but my elderly parents would’ve struggled a bit. Also kind of a pain with heavy luggage. You’re asked to gather trash and start a load of towels before leaving. No big deal. Also I think it’s worth mentioning that while you view the water beautifully from the deck, there is no access to the water due to private properties. We were a little bummed to not be able to take a quick stroll - but again, not the end of the world. Overall, it was a great stay! I would recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing sunrise

Our stay was wonderful. We enjoyed the beautiful morning sunrise from the patio as well as watching the deer in the mornings and evenings. Beautiful home and was perfect. Only negative was wash clothes and towels need to be changed out. Very abrasive.

Paradise

Tamarack Terrace was a perfect location for our stay. It nicely accommodated all 5 of us and had great amenities throughout. The rooms were clean and were well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and cant wait to be back.
