This thoughtfully and elegantly designed home away from home is part of the Big Canoe community, where you will discover hiking trails all around, including the High Gap Trail one mile northeast. Lake Petit is less than a mile away, and the Big Canoe Marina is about one and a half miles away, where you can rent equipment for a variety of water sports, have a picnic, go for walks, or play a game of beach volleyball. Big Canoe is home to not one, not two, but three pristine lakes–ideal for swimming, boating, paddle boarding, and fishing.

Golfers will enjoy the 27-hole championship Mountain Course designed by Joe Lee with striking mountain peaks, rushing streams, and lush valleys, or any of the three Choctaw, Cherokee, and Creek 9-hole courses. Tennis players will be happy to know this community is home to one of the finest racquet clubs in the Atlanta area, Big Canoe is a tennis lover’s dream. We offer a total of 10 courts to choose from; four Har-Tru Clay courts (outdoor), two ClayTech all-weather courts (outdoor), two hard courts (outdoor), and two indoor courts. Six of the eight total outdoor courts are lighted, and four are specifically designated for lighted pickleball play. Additional perks include an outdoor swimming pool.

This three-level home is awaiting your family's next vacation with lots of unique comforts and conveniences that include a partially screened deck on the side with lots of open deck space to soak up the sun or enjoy the gentle breezes on the back side of the main level and a soothing hot tub on the main level deck. Enjoy such gorgeous details as the two stacked stone fireplaces on the lower and main levels, multiple TVs on each level, a full kitchen, and a dining area surrounded by windows that let in plenty of natural light and beautiful views. Whether you choose to spend your days hiking, fishing, or taking scenic drives, you can end each evening breathing in the fresh mountain air on the screened porch or the ample deck space.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Fireplaces are operable from October 1st – April 15th only.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. No more dogs are allowed.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
