Trendy Loft w/ Energetic Outdoors - 5 min from the beach and pet friendly!

Our cozy deck invites you into an open, light-filled space that is perfect for every occasion. With shops and restaurants less than two miles away, you can explore the charming town of Beaufort by foot, golf cart, bike or water! Embark on local adventures to Shackleford Banks & Harkers Island OR simply kickback to enjoy the spacious outdoors, grill, friendly locals, games and more! Plus your pooch can come too!

This property has been maintained as a 5 star stay and was recently purchased by us (5 star hosts). It was voted as Beaufort’s top short-term stay in 2022. The Loft is located above a retail space, Dancing Baristas Cafe, which opened in March 2023. There will be patrons visiting the shop downstairs for early morning coffee and the business will be hosting occasional afternoon/evening events on site. The entire outdoor space is considered common area for all guests to enjoy and we hope you will participate in all of the fun being offered right outside your door! However, the upstairs area is reserved only for our VRBO guests and you will not be sharing any indoor spaces. If you'd like to engage in the community, meet locals, feel some excitement and learn more about the area...you will love this spot! Please feel free to connect with me to learn about any events that may be taking place during your stay or check out the Dancing Baristas Cafe (DBC) on social media.

Guests will have access to the upstairs loft (private entrance) as well as the outdoor spaces. Find yourself at home with a propane grill, outdoor shower (seasonal), outdoor patio furniture and more. Reserved parking is available for our guests. If you have your dog along, you'll find a small fenced area where they can loosen their legs after a long car ride!

Within 1.5 miles you'll land in the Historic Downtown of Beaufort, where you'll find bars, restaurants, ice cream, live music, ferry services and more. While some may consider walking downtown, most guests opt to hop on a bike or golf cart. Rent these locally and take advantage of the delivery services available so they'll be waiting upon your arrival! We'll be happy to share directions for a shortcut to downtown - the trail over the Turner Street bridge is just around the corner!

This property is so unique...we loved it. Bethany was such a pleasure to work with and she went out if her way to help us. Perfect stay. Our little dog was made to feel welcome as there was a water/food bowl waiting.

The Loft is truly a cozy pet friendly space. We enjoyed the outdoor amenities and we LOVED the coffee shop on the main level. The loft was extremely clean and functional, we enjoyed the thoughtful extras, starter coffee, toiletries, local recommendations. We would definitely return.

We had a great time during our first visit to Beaufort. The loft was excellent! Very cute and clean with very thoughtful amenities that were just what we needed! It's a short drive or bike ride to Beaufort. Morehead City and Atlantic Beach are also very close.

I would stay here again. Having the cafe down stairs was a huge plus. Food was great I highly recommend the Lox Bagel plus the Iced coffee is so good!

Really fun space with nice touches, and everything you need. The host was very understanding about a last minute change. The cafe is great--lively and friendly, just as described. Comfy bed, good A/C. Large brita dispenser in fridge, and nice soap/shampoo products provided. Quiet at nighttime. Great spot!

Great location for the two of us

We have family in Morehead City and have been looking for a place not too far out of the way when there just isn't room enough for everyone. We loved the loft and the coffee shop that's on the same property. It was ideal for us. We'll be back soon.

Cute Lil Getaway spot

This quaint spot is perfect for a quick getaway. Convenient to shops, especially Beaufort waterfront. Beautifully decorated with all needed conveniences. Bethany was very pleasant to deal with. Oh and the Dancing Baristas coffee shop downstairs was the icing on the cake.

Originally from the Midwest, my husband and I both grew up in small towns in Michigan. We eventually moved to North Carolina to chase the warmer weather and explore everything the state has to offer. We love both states for different reasons, and enjoy traveling between the two but we're in NC to stay. I have hosted homes in Raleigh, NC and Boyne Falls, MI but we are so happy to have found this charming stay in Beaufort, NC. We are not new to hosting, and you'll learn that very quickly! We want your stay to be as enjoyable and memorable as our very own travels so we provide as many amenities and suggestions as possible. We hope you find this place to be a hidden gem that you return to for years! CHEERS!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This neighborhood is situated on a dead end street off Live Oak, just as you come into Beaufort. This property is set back far enough that road noise does not tend to be an issue for guests but yet you have quick access to everywhere you need to go. Nearby you will find Piggly Wiggly, Ace Hardware, Food Lion, CVS Pharmacy, ABC Store and other necessities for your stay. This is in addition to the amazing cafe right below the loft - yummy!!!

Also, a little "secret route" to downtown...follow the road to the dead end where you will find a sidewalk that will take you up over the Turner Street bridge. Follow this and you'll be right downtown on Turner Street and Front Street in no time! You can safely walk or ride bikes on this route but unfortunately, no golf carts allowed.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

You might have to walk, ride or Uber to Front Street to enjoy the nightlife but getting away from it all at the end of the day feels so good. Enjoying some time away from the chaos of Front St. while meeting locals in a casual and welcoming environment is a great way to ease into your day, learn about the area and make lasting connections. We love being a part of downtown Beaufort but also love that our place has the convenience of getting to SO many other places so easily.
