Overview

Welcome to "Sea La Vie" at Summer Salt in Orange Beach!! This BRAND NEW stunning cottage is the perfect vacation destination!

Dog Friendly (max 2). There is $150 pet fee. Guests are responsible for letting host know if fee shall be added to reservation. If dogs are brought to property without being added to reservation, a $250 fee will be applied at checkout.

Additional Sleeping Information:

Each bedroom has their own private en suite.

Bedroom 1 Queen Bed

Bedroom 2 is a bunk bed- Twin on top, double bed on bottom, with a twin trundle (sleeps 4).

Bedroom 3- King Bed

Additional sleeping in living room sleeper sofa.

No partying is allowed. Only guests on booking reservation may enter the cottage AND/OR pool. No outside guests please.

Guests reserving must be 25 years or older to rent and must be in attendance for this property.

Wildlife: Though rarely seen, snakes and alligators are a possibility be seen in southern Alabama and in marshy areas.

In the event of a cancellation, we encourage you to read cancellation policy guidelines found in our terms and conditions at the bottom of our website, the credit card fee will not be reimbursed.

Parking Notes: Maximum three (small) vehicles (no campers) allowed at the property. There are 3 additional parking spaces across from the cottage that is first come first serve.

Complimentary STARTER supply of shampoos, soaps, one dish detergent pod, one load of laundry detergent, one toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, and one trash bag per trash can is provided. You will be responsible for supplying the remainder of supplies needed for the duration of your stay. Our goal is for you to not have to rush to the store to fight the crowds the first night you arrive.

This place was a disaster and ruined our vacation.1st night: Manager informs me no water pressure/no hot water!Coming in after a 12 hour drive not good!Despite manager discovering approx. 6 hours before our check-in I guess figured better to screw up our day than hers...set up repair for the following day2nd Day: Awakened by repair man early in the morning waking up the whole house...plumber had to go in each room (bathroom checks) so everyone had to crawl out of bed way before they wanted. Repair did not have a ladder so had to wait for someone to bring one...then they didn't have parts so had to go buy them...then they left and still no water pressure downstairs and no hot water anywhere...lukewarm at best (another mistake by plumber not setting temp properly)3rd Day: ok just water issues4th Day: internet goes out which means all the smart TV's go out...no response to message concerning issue5th Day: (our last full day) I had to send an additional email as no response to initial internet outage email. Manager sent back that the internet company could be out if we could wait for them between 1-5. LOL on our last day we will wait for a cable/internet guy to show for 4 hours in the middle of the day. Quite a joke. When I complained needing some sort of reimbursement she said basically too bad I gave you an option to have it repaired.Last Day: Checked out still no hot water and no internet or TVDO NOT STAY HERE: there are many great options but not this one

wonderful vacation spot

Everything you need in a vacation rental...fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. Great location and very quiet. Will be back next February!

Work trip

The house was new and nice and was a good location to restaurants and shopping. The kitchen could use better cookware and cooking utensils. This is a new neighborhood so there was a lot of construction going on around us. We enjoyed walking our dogs early in the morning and in the evenings. We liked that there was ponds and canals around us.

Spring Break Orange Beach

We really liked the location and condition of this property and had a great stay! We enjoyed hiking the trials in the state park nearby and the beach and many restaurants are close as well. The only downside currently was construction noise on new houses being built nearby but that was not a big deal for us as it was mostly during the day while we were away from the home.

Beautiful, Clean, So Comfortable!

The pictures are accurate- this place is cute! Very comfortable beds. We really appreciated the slow cooker. This is a brand new neighborhood, so there is construction currently. But only during the day and the evenings were quiet, perfect for listening to the ocean waves on the balcony. We really enjoyed walking the neighborhood, watching for wildlife in the wetlands. Seeing birds diving for fish was a highlight. Walkable to several great restaurants- the shrimp and grouper daily specials at Wolf Bay were favorites. And 2/3 mile walk to the beach! Plan to repeat our stay next year.

Wonderful place to stay

We enjoyed our stay here, construction during the week was a bit much, but nothing we couldn't handle. Home was very nice. We would love it if the state trail was connected to housing area, and had a deeded beach access, a little closer. but all in all very nice location
