Rural Beach Paradise: A Hidden Gem
Stacey is an outstanding host! From the moment you arrive Stacey is there to greet you and you plan the vacation of your dreams - whether it is adventure you are seeking or relaxing...we did a combination of both. She arranged for a local chef to cook for us 2 nights (my mouth is watering just thinking about the magic that was prepared for us). Stacey also hooked us up with fishing, cheese & tortilla making, horseback riding, and the local knowledge of where to eat each night (they have a lot of themed nights). The deck in front of the property has an excellent view of the ocean - watching the sunset from there is magical - whether it is from a hammock or during a yoga class. ...and don't even get me started about the amazing yoga that is offered there or how friendly and accommodating everyone you meet in this rural beach community is. This was my first time in Nicaragua and I cannot say enough about how welcoming the people are. I have also forgotten to comment about the property...Stacey has thought of every single detail to make your stay comfortable and welcoming; from the local honey to the robes with her house's logo on them. She is environmentally contentious and gives back to the community in meaningful ways. I obviously could go on and on about how awesome our stay was with her and amazing of a human-being she is...however, I will pause here and encourage you to go find out for yourself. Trust me when I say you won't be disappointed. I cannot wait to return!!
