It was a wonderful two weeks at a beautiful home on Lk Leelanau with very clean and comfortable accomidations. Our host was very available and helpful.

Very beautiful home with a perfect location on the lake - great sunsets! Host was always available and communicated very well!Home was meticulous and much larger than expected - very open design! Well-appointed kitchen and so many different locations to relax in with a great view of the lake! Outdoor area was so spacious with so much to do - lots of outdoor seating, outdoor games, gas bbq, fire pit and water toys!Highly recommended - you will not be disappointed!

We had a lovely week on Lake Leelanau. The home was perfect for our family. The house is even better than the pictures. The view was beautiful and the location so convenient to many different activities. The 4 kayaks were great for a family kayak plus we enjoyed sitting by the fire and watching the meteor shower one evening. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything!

We had an excellent July week at Greg's property with our adult children. The house is clean and meticulously maintained. It is well stocked with kitchen, grilling, and fire pit supplies. The boat dock is beautiful and the mooring whips are a nice touch. The updated boat house with seating was an unexpected surprise where we had a great time hanging out with friends on a rainy night. The view and sunsets on the lake from this property are stunning. We've stayed at many properties on Lake Leelanau and this was our favorite. Can't wait to go back.

Highly recommend this property. We were there for a week and checked out on 7/19/25, nobody wanted to leave. The water and sunsets are amazing. Location is perfect, just minutes from Fishtown, Suttons Bay, Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes.

great Leelanau stay

This property worked really well for our group of 6 adults, a 6 year old, and a 14 month old! The firepit, deck, and sand box were all used and really added to the stay! There were lots of chairs to sit around the campfire and deck.

Perfect weather week

Great deck, sun room & renovated kitchen. Beautiful views from the grass yard right on the lake. Very few steps to navigate for older family members & older dog. This is the 4th time we have stayed here & love it.

Paradise

We loved the location. Close enough to TC to enjoy everything in town but far enough to enjoy the peacefulness of the area. The house was perfect for us. We enjoyed the backyard, the view is beautiful and the fire pit was perfect! We will be back!

Leelenau Narrows

We were very pleased with the location - walking distance to the coffee shop! - and the view was breathtaking. The house was comfortable with all pots and pans needed to cook meals! it was a perq to have the studio apartment so close yet nice and private.

fun family week

We had a great week. Location is excellent for vineyards, hiking, golf, Suttons Bay, Leland, and especially for catching amazing sunsets & stargazing. Being able to tie up a pontoon boat right on the wall is a big plus. The owner is nearby and super quick to provide help and answer any questions.

Great Location!!

Just stayed at this very clean house for a family vacation and I can’t say enough good things about the stay. Nothing is far from here, Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and great little shops in Leland, Leelanau, and Sutton bay are all just a quick drive away. Communication with the host was great and check in was efficient. The house was well furnished with essentials and the circle drive had plenty of parking and made it easy to head out for the day. Definitely would stay here again!

WOW, this place had it all. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. The kitchen had every thing we needed plus. Two coffee pots made for an easy morning with 8 adults! Plenty of firewood for our nightly bonfires. The two grills came in handy when cooking dinner. There were tons of games. We all used the kayaks and enjoyed paddling out on the lake. We did have a boat and the set up to tie up the boat was perfect. Greg was available to answer any questions we had. This was one of the best cottages we have stayed at up north!!!

We enjoyed our stay

Family of 4 with a dog and had the grandparents there for a couple of days. This was the 3rd time we’ve rented for a full week on S Lake Leelanau and our 10th place in northern MI. Location was great, the dock situation with the mooring lines worked externally well. The yard was spacious, kids loved the sand box and getting into the water. Owner was very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed being on the sunset side of the lake and all the windows and deck space gave you plenty of views to enjoy that. Exteriorly, everything was fantastic. Our only knock is the overall comfort level. This was one of the most expensive rentals we’ve stayed at and with that, expected better quality throughout the interior of the home. I will add that this is the first year we’ve booked a rental that allowed pets so perhaps that’s the reason of the inflated cost. But in comparison to others we’ve stayed at, we expected a higher quality of accommodations on the inside.

We had a fabulous family vacation at this property. Lake Leelanau is beautiful, and the house and property were perfect. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The family room with windows overlooking the lake provided great views as well as a wonderful family space. The bedrooms were very comfortable and well appointed. We loved the detached primary suite. The entire property had everything - kayaks, fire-pit, lovely dock, games, moorings for our boat and a comfy new boathouse. We had everything we needed. The hosts were very helpful and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely go back.

We had a wonderful time, we had everything we needed. The house was spacious with several sitting areas for different activities, watching the lake, the sunsets, playing cards and games, talking with each other, watching TV (although we didn't turn any of the TVs on because we were having such a good time without them). The kitchen was great with lots of dishes, pots and pans, coffee pots, washer & dryer, etc. Our host was friendly and responsive to any questions we had. There is a second cottage connected by a covered walkway with a bed, table, and chairs, kitchenette, and bathroom, perfect for a couple in the group. We were all in our 80s, so we didn't take much advantage of the outside other than sitting on the patio, but we could see there were plenty of activities available. You will have to read other reviews to find out more about them. All in all a memorable vacation, and we hope to come again.

Great property and if anything the pictures undersell it. Well maintained and updated. Greg was the best host we’ve ever had, proactive on handling any issues and brought us a new toaster early in get week based on prior guest feedback. Would highly recommend.

This property has it all, location, location, location. Lake waterfront property, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor grills, outdoor games boat house. The property was clean and well maintained. Only minutes from great restaurants, shopping, hiking, biking , fishing and of course wineries. The water and sunsets were unbelievable and If you want a boat, WOW brand new boat house and pier.Greg was a wonderful host and always willing to help.We had an amazing time together with family and definitely plan to come back.Mike K.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Relax and Reklein. Greg was in contact ahead of our stay to ensure we had everything needed for a great week. The location is fantastic - on the water and close to nearby towns and attractions. The house is clean, updated, and has everything needed. This was not our first time renting this cottage and we would not hesitate to do so again in the future!
