Nested on 100 acres of private land this hidden gem allows an opportunity for respite from the rest of the world. Allowing for full 365 degree views of rolling hills, sunsets and wildlife.

Built in 2019 every element of comfort was taken into account. From the impeccable craftsmanship of hand hued beams, natural real wood flooring, white washes ceilings, refurbished tin walls, natural beams, stamped decorative concrete and a massive 3 story iron staircase grace this retreat. -Please note our staircase and balcony meet the safety standards but if you have small children (under 2) we recommend bringing baby gates.

Family reunions, Girl friend weekends, Bachelor and Bachelorette parties or just an amazing week away with or without the kids…this lodge won’t disappoint.

Very remote picturesque area on 100 acres of land.

Mondovi WI, (5 minutes away) offers great restaurants and boutique shopping as well as ATV trails, fishing pier, walking trails and park/picnic pavilion.

Eau Claire WI, (located 30 min away) has options for the whole group. Children’s museum, Water and trampoline park, shopping mall, movie theater, parks and a beautiful swimming beach-Half Moon Beach.

Durand WI-(15 minutes away.) Durand offers a boat launch, community outdoor pool, large playgrounds, walking trails, fishing pier and is right on the Chippewa River with water access.

Amazing stay!

This was my first stay at a VRBO. The entire process went very smooth. The host gave us all the information we needed and responded right away to any questions we had. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed...and then some! Truly enjoyed our morning coffees on the balcony, with the amazing views! Would definitely stay there again!

Awesome and remote getaway

We stayed in area for retriever competition for just over a week. The house and surrounding land is beautiful. Don’t be afraid of the driveway - it’s steep but easily navigable. The rocks at the entryway are a little cumbersome to get up and down, especially when carrying supplies or baggage. The house was well equipped for cooking and relaxing. WiFi worked well which is good as reception in area not great. Would definitely recommend to others and stay again if in area

Gorgeous Views

Peaceful getaway with gorgeous views. We enjoyed campfires, walks and seeing deer and turkeys. The internet and TV are very reliable. I think children would love playing with all the toys on the third floor.

Great Property in a beautiful private valley.

This property turned out to be the perfect spot for our annual man camp weekend. It's located over a mile back on a private dirt road. The lodge is decorated with rustic materials that add to the aesthetic. Peace and solitude. We will be back.

Delightful stay

This is a beautiful, comfortable, awesome home. Delightful touches everywhere and beautiful finishes. This home seemed to have been built with love. The setting is spectacular. This home is spacious and very bright with natural light everywhere. The whole house was immaculate and well furnished with needed supplies. Very peaceful, quiet, and twinkling stars everywhere! We will visit again.

Beautiful inside and out!

Perfect for our family of five plus dog. It provided an extended weekend of much needed rest and relaxation. The house did not disappoint with many beautiful details throughout and the right about of amenities. The property was absolutely gorgeous. It provided many hours of great views and the opportunity to see/hear much wildlife. Host was accommodating and easy to reach and communicate with as needed. Thank you!

The house has a very eclectic barn feel to it with raw wood throughout. It also feel like a barn in the sense that it was pretty dirty. The floors needed to be swept and the bathrooms (showers) were not really clean. This house does not sleep 10! We had 5 adults and 5 kids and one adult slept on a couch and one kid slept on a blow up mattress. I messaged the owner about this when we arrived and never heard anything back. The location is interesting, essentially down a small unpaved field road and up a rather steep hill with a gravel road that is starting to wash away. There were no hand soaps to be found so we had to run to the grocery store to grab some cleaning supplies and soap. We were able to see deer and turkeys every day which was fun for the kids. Overall, it seems like this is a new VRBO owner and the basic upkeep is lacking. Also, don’t plan to come here with more then 4 adults and 4 kids (2 queen beds and 2 bunk beds).

Peaceful

Neat house very clean. Would be neat if they had a story on all the buck heads. Need a 4x4 if there is snow melt or a ton of rain. The driveway is a sand like mixture and very mushy when very wet, not sure if a car would have made it.

Awesome quiet retreat or hunting lodge

If you are looking for a quiet relaxing location this is it! Beautiful home with great views of the surrounding hillsides. Deer, turkeys and other wildlife were right out the large living room windows every evening. Far enough away from city lights to see the stars at night. House was a uper clean upon arrival, and easy check in process. The owner was friendly and quick to respond when we had a small issue connecting to wifi. Plenty of space for larger family and the house is equipped with lots of board games, and other fun things for kids, who have their own space on the 2nd floor. A 5 minute drive from a small town that provides grocery shopping and a few bars & restaurants. 30 ish minute drive from Eau Clare if you desire a bigger city.

Exactly as advertised!

My family and I had a wonderful visit to The Tree Farm! This lodge really is stunning and we immediately felt comfortable and at home. There is a warm, inviting feeling upon entering, and those wood floors, oh my! We had everything we needed plus a few things we didn't know we needed (hello, popcorn machine!). Amenities were top notch, host Rachel very responsive. We spent a lot of time perched on the stools on the porch watching for wildlife, enjoying the breeze, taking note of the quiet. For a family of townies, the solitude was a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of streets and neighbors. We wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you, Lodge Mondovi! Great stay!

Booked for a weekend away with my wife and our dog with the goal in mind of minimizing contact with people. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay as it was exactly what we were looking for. Hardly see a building much less people from the cabin. A few issues at check in (make sure you have wifi password before you arrive as we had no cell service - had been sent to me prior to arriving via message from property manager, but I missed it and couldn't retrieve it once on site). 5 minute drive to town for anything you'd really need. Property manager was communicative and helped with anything we needed during our stay...which wasn't much! The only complaint I had was that the internet service was too good...I worked while there more than I should have. We plan to return!

Wonderful Family Retreathouse

The house is located on a dead end road, with wonderful views of farms, woods, and flower beds. The kids on the trip (3,4,6,8) loved finding frogs, seeing turkey, deer, and rabbits, as well as catching lighting bugs. The fire pit was also a huge hit as well as breakfast on the balcony each morning. There is room to spread out a bit as there is one bedroom on each of the three floors. Which was good for us as we had three families coming together for a long weekend. Overall the house was clean, and welcoming. Also not thousands of rules to follow, or unrealistic expectations for cleaning up after yourself. A few things to note - although listing currently shows a pool as an amenity there is not one on site (which is a bummer as that is what originally drew us to book for the kids), and the local community pool in Durand is closed for the 2024 season. Also, there is a map provided of some trails but they were a bit overgrown when we got there. Probably due to some heavy rain the last several weeks, but just know you will potentially be in high grasses if you use their trails. Well worth a hike or two though. Tons of toys, and games (we brought a lot of our own too) to entertain the kids and just let them be feral for a few days enjoying the sites and sounds of the area.
