Escapada privada a la montaña en 45 acres de bosque prístino con senderos, pequeños estanques y vida salvaje. La cabaña restaurada tiene más de 100 años y tiene una gran terraza con mecedoras y una bañera de hidromasaje. Descansa en la terraza y busca fauna avistada, como ciervos, zorros rojos, linces, pavos salvajes y más. Relájate en la bañera de hidromasaje y mira las estrellas. Camina o monta tu bicicleta en los muchos senderos. Juega en los arroyos y el estanque. No hay vecinos la casa más cercana a 1/2 milla de distancia. Las mascotas son bienvenidas con una puerta para perros y un área cercada en el jardín delantero.

Dentro de la cabaña es acogedor y mejor para parejas. Una habitación con una cama queen, baño con azulejos, sala de estar con techo abovedado con chimenea de leña y sofá cama, estanterías surtidas, cocina completa, terraza, terraza delantera grande y cubierta trasera pequeña, ambas con mecedoras y tumbonas y mesa. Cómodo por dentro y por fuera.

La pequeña y pintoresca ciudad de Burnsville está a 15 minutos y Asheville está a solo 45 minutos en coche.

The cabin is exactly as described. It's old (in a good way and rustic. Unique decor inside-the picture of the old cabin before improvements is neat to see. The front deck is superb to enjoy any time. And, I enjoyed the small back porch after walking on the property trails too. A warm fire in the living room is a wonderful way to end the day. Kitchen is appointed well enough; we mainly used it to warm up food or make our breakfast. Bathroom worked well for us. The pull out couch was not comfortable so bring an air mattress instead of trying to use that. Reading in the loft area was one of my favorite things. What beautiful views we had there. And, the creek that runs by the property offered a wonderful, peaceful sound track to relax by. Feeding the birds was a pleasure. The fenced area worked perfect for potty breaks for our dog. And, no other animals bothered us on the property-so even if you have a reactive dog, this place can work for you. I would definitely go back here for a relaxing, off the beaten path stay. The town of Burnsville was so welcoming too. And, Brad was always quick to respond to any questions/comments I had for him. The fact that you can explore their large property is outstanding. We all loved it here! It took us less than an hour to get to Asheville too; so you can get in a nice day trip there.

Warm and cozy retreat. Dog friendly as evidenced by toys to fetch, dog bed, dog door and dog critters abound. The humans too enjoyed the porch sitting, bird watching, hiking, town visiting and sipping wine with provided nice wine glasses. Everything you need to make a meal, or grab a frozen meal (mmm, we had pot pies) and bake in the oven. Let the world chaos go away. Just breath.

This was our second time at Brad’s cabin and it did not disappoint. The cabin has everything that you need for a relaxing stay. The weather was great and we were able to enjoy most of our meals on the deck listening to the small stream that runs down the front of the property. It is such a great place to reset and unwind. I’m so glad that it was spared during Hurricane Helene. My husband and I can’t wait to go back again soon.

Cabin getaway

This is definitely the remote cabin time we were looking for. Beautiful area. Loved sitting on the front porch and watching for birds at the feeder and enjoying the quiet.

Special place with total freedom from the city life.

Visited over memorial weekend with our two fur babies. The cabin was rustic and absolutely gorgeous. We loved the fire place on the cool rainy nights and the private trails right out the back door. We only left the property once for a few groceries as everything we wanted to unplug together was right out the front door. The fenced area for our two dogs was an added bonus but not needed as there is nothing around but wilderness and a running creek with water falls right off the mater bedroom. No cell phone service except on WiFi but that was an added bonus for us. We had the best four days just being together in nature. We will be back! Thank you Brad and family for allowing us to stay in your little piece of paradise.

Relaxing mountain vacation

Wonderful cabin

This was a great place I took my lab and she enjoyed the fenced in yard and porch. Close enough to Asheville that we went there with the dog to spend the day. Spent a afternoon in Burnsville nice little town and very dog friendly. Went on long hikes on the property. Brad the owner was very nice and very easy check in and out process. Loved it

Peaceful Escape from Reality

This is my second time staying here. It's a perfect escape from the daily grind and just the right amount of amenities plus - best part - I can bring my doggos with me. My favorite things about the property are having my morning coffee on the front porch, plenty of space for the doggos to run including the trail behind the cabin, and the cozy vibes. If your questioning a stay, just book it!!

Burnsville Cabin

Loved our stay. Brad and Erin have created a beautiful retreat filled with nature and serenity. We enjoyed hiking, exploring Burnsville & the farmer's market - like a mini Asheville with the arts & crafts, music. Our lab loved the beautiful fenced yard and splashing in the creek! But mostly we loved the views and sounds of nature in the outdoor living spaces!

Secluded Cabin

A very serene and calming location to relax, recharge and celebrate our 46th anniversary. Cabin was cozy, clean and well stocked. We loved the outdoor porch and deck for grilling, eating and watching the continuous stream of birds coming to the feeders. Also, appreciated having our collie stay with us at the cabin to enjoy sleeping and watching the birds from the porch and peace of mind of mind that he could come and go in the fenced in yard.

A lovely escape

It was beautiful and everything was as described. If you a want to escape into the woods this is the place. Cabin is quaint and comfy. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and exploring the property.

Wonderful cabin in the mountains

Charming, quiet cabin nestled in the woods. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful property and our dogs enjoyed vacationing with their people. The cabin is spacious with a great front porch and fenced in yard for the dogs. Brad was super responsive and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable.

Just a peace (piece) of Heaven!

This is a lovely place, so peaceful and wonderful. Completely stocked very comfortable and beautiful. The hosts Erin And Brad are Absolutely lovely and have taken time to make this place lovely for all that visit. Our dogs love the fenced in backyard. We would love to stay again when we’re back in this neck of the woods.

Anniversary Getaway

The property was wonderfully isolated with trees and wildlife galore. The mornings were in the the low 60's and high 50's accompanied by hot coffee the romance of a wood fire. A bird feeder provider us the free entertainment of 15 different species of birds while rocking on the front porch. We took walks during which enjoyed peace and solitude with the back ground sound of a babbling brook. The property owner insured the cabin, built in 1898, was well equipped for us to stay off the grid for the entire week. We did not want to leave and it was a perfect 36th wedding anniversary celebration for us!

Delightful retreat

We enjoyed every minute of our stay here with our 15-month-old Great Dane. Long walks on the trails multiple times daily and a fenced area when we weren't so inclined. Long evenings on the front porch/deck with cool breezes. Excellent mattress. What's not to love?

We live in Asheville and did live in the cabin for almost 10 years we still go up almost every weekend it is free to enjoy nature at its best.

Asheville and Burnsville are both close by yet the cabin location is remote with no other houses in site.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Remote mountain location no other houses, cars or people in site. Nature right out the doorstep with hiking trails out the back door. Enjoy the mountains from the front porch, the bird feeder from the sunroom, and the stars from the deck.
