This stylish place is close to the must-see destinations of Munising Michigan. 1/2 mile Bike ride to Sand Point Beach or into town to catch a kayak trip or Pictured Rocks Boat Tour. This Micro-Motel is a self-check-in 8 unit slightly out of town in a quiet setting.

Newly renovated 8-unit boutique motel in a quiet residential setting, with space to play outdoor games or picnic. Operated as a self-chick-in vacation rental yet staffed every morning for a couple of hours.

Parking is available directly in front of the room door. Munising and Sand Point Beach are within walking and biking distance.

Although this motel is not staffed 24 hours, I am available by text at all times.

Family friendly, safe, residential neighborhood. No pets.

We stayed here for a week as home base for our waterfalls and rock-hounding vacation. Awesome location, clean room, good communication from the host. We will most definitely stay here again!

Perfect location, clean and affordable

The Greenland Motel was a perfect location for our weekend getaway in the UP. Listing was exactly as described. We didn't need extra space to hang out in just somewhere to rest our heads as we spent all day on the water! We would definitely stay there again!

Greenland Motel

The location is just out of the main strip of munising. It’s a little too far to walk to town, but there was plenty of parking in town so this wasn’t a problem for us. The property was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed our stay there!

Very clean, bed was comfortable, good Wi-Fi connection.The motel would have been easy to find, but we were detoured getting there, with no city posted detour signs coming from Munising, so we didn't know how to get there. Followed a pickup and lucked out with finding it the rest of the way with the help of GPS. On the way back to town, there were detour signs.

Cute room, convenient location.

The room was in a convenient location to Pictured Rocks and trails. The photos on the listing of Room No. 1, the bathroom didn’t match, curtain instead of glass. This did not ruin our stay. It was nice that there were extra supplies in the community room located in the center of the property.

Once we figured out how to find our room and location, it went well. A little concerning at first. But it worked out. There could be a shower caddy in shower to not have to put shampoos and soap on the floor.

I liked the room, beds were comfy and they had Netflix on the TV. Keurig in the room too! It was really cute but my only complaint is that there was a steady stream of giant ants coming into the room from the bathroom. There was a space where the wall connects to the floor and they kept coming in and we killed about 50 of them during our stay. I tried messaging about it but got no answer. They need an exterminator!

Pit Stop/Base Camp

I found this by accident and was hesitant with the fact that it was a motel. Where I am from motels have give me a bad impression on them. This place proved me wrong. I read many reviews that made me want to avoid Munising but this place caught my eye and I’m glad it did. It was newly renovated and very clean. The bathroom was big and it provided everything we needed as a base between waterfalls and beaches. The owner/manager was very accommodating as I needed to adjust my stay to add a day as I was last minute planning and she took care of it and even worked it out so we had the same room throughout. Which was very helpful. I would definitely come back. If you’re reading many reviews like I did stop now this is the place to stay when in Munising. The best part is it’s in a quiet residential neighborhood away from the hustle of the town but within a quick drive. It is closer to a lot of the prime destinations without the hassle of going through town.
