Welcome to Timbers Edge, a stellar vacation home nestled on a quiet street in the heart of The Galena Territory. Located a short distance from Downtown Galena and renowned wedding and event venues like Ashton Hill, Eagle Ridge, and Oak Hill Farm. This three-bedroom, three-bathroom all ensuites home is situated on a large lot with a wooded backdrop – offering an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

As you enter Timbers Edge, you’ll arrive on the 2nd floor of the home overlooking the open and spacious dining room, kitchen, and living room with a floor-to-ceiling feature fireplace. Grab a seat on the sectional sofa, build a fire, and cozy up with your family and friends while enjoying a movie or cocktails. Send the kids out to the three seasons/bonus room to play on the foosball table, board games, or watch their own movie. All TV’s are smart/Roku enabled, bring your own login to stream your favorite shows.

On the 2nd floor, you’ll find two bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms; one bedroom has a queen bed and one has a king bed. The main level of the home has an additional bedroom also with an ensuite bathroom which can be accessed from the living space as well. This home sleeps 6 guests comfortably and up to 8 with the use of the Aerobed in the living room.

Timbers Edge is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen along with a gas grill so you can prepare meals with family and friends. Off the back of the house, you’ll find a large deck overlooking the backyard along with a firepit – perfect for s’mores on a cool evening. After a day of skiing or other outdoor activities, take a dip in the hot tub to warm up or ease the muscles.

This home is dog-friendly with a $150 dog fee; up to two dogs max allowed.

Please be advised that we do not have a Covid or weather cancellation policy; therefore, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip. You can easily purchase travel insurance after booking.

This was the perfect house for a Galena getaway! We were close enough to drive to all the things we wanted to do but in an area that was calm and peaceful. The house was clean and well-equipped. The property manager responded right away to any questions. We would stay here again.

Stayed here for a girls trip weekend to Galena. Property was clean and cozy, we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and had a nice fire one of the nights. I will say be careful of falling walnuts while sitting around the fire but other than that, there was plenty of space and the fact we all had our own bathroom was amazing. Its about a 15 min drive to main street which was not bad at all. Also a plus was having the little grocery store near the golf course to grab coffee and snacks. I would definitely stay here again. There are no ubers or lyfts in the area though so keep that in mind, you will have to drive everywhere, parking for 3 vehicles if needed. This would even be a great place to rent for a familu getaway. Thank you!

I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the area is. All properties are landscaped beautifully. The houses are spaced apart enough for privacy. The owners club was upscale and had many amenities. It was not overly crowded. We enjoyed the hot tub. It was a little warm. We never did have a fire, but there was a nice little pit for it. Everything worked except we did initially have a problem with the dryer, but I think it was our mistake. Brian responded immediately to my message, but it turned out that we didn’t close the door well enough.Couch was comfy & so were the beds.We rented a pontoon a couple times to fish. My bird app gotta work out and we heard a lot of different birds. Also went to Shenandoah for a trail ride. Really enjoyed that! I’m 65 so was a little afraid at first, but it was easier than I thought!Would definitely recommend staying here!

The three bedroom home with 3 ensuite bathrooms was exactly what we needed. Hot tub was great. The game room was not air conditioned, so it was stifling and unusable during the heat wave that occurred during our stay. We didn't bring passwords for streaming services - cable and/or regular TV service was not available. Would rent again if in the area.

Adequate but not as expected

The house is in a great location on a quiet cul-de-sac with woods in the backyard. The 3 bedrooms all have ensuite baths, which is a great feature. We were disappointed in the overall condition of the property. Walking up to the front door, the timber pathway is uneven and some timbers are deteriorating. The laminate floor on the main floor is separating. There are stains on the ceiling tiles in the main floor bathroom. We ate most of our meals in the house and found the kitchen equipment to be basic. The plates are chipped and the flatware is mismatched. The deck in the back is also showing signs of deterioration. Overall, we felt that the property is aging and in need of maintenance and updating. We have stayed at several other properties in the Galena Territory and found them to be better maintained with higher-quality finishes. In summary, the house met our needs but not our expectations.

Timber Edge was perfect as a family getaway. The great room was cozy and we felt cocooned, surrounded by our own private “timber edge”.A walk out the patio door led to a toasty warm hot tub and a fire pit, perfect for s’mores.We are definitely coming back!

Absolutely immaculate and relaxing home

This property clearly has an outstanding team managing it - from making the reservation to arriving to the home, our experience was outstanding. What stood out most to us was walking into the home and sensing that it is incredibly well-cared for, from the furnishings to the cleanliness. Each bedroom suite is comfortable and private and the main spaces of the room allow for relaxed gatherings. Of course, the hot tub and fire pit area add to the charm of this property. Weekend Getaway

Our stay at Timbers Edge was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the cozy yet spacious cabin, the beautiful wooded surroundings, and all the thoughtful touches throughout the home. It was the ideal setting for a relaxing weekend getaway for friends. The cabin was spotless, well-stocked, and had everything we needed—from a fully equipped kitchen to a cozy fireplace and comfortable beds. The outdoor space was just as impressive, with a fantastic hot tub where we could unwind and take in the peaceful scenery. The location was perfect—just a short drive to downtown Galena, yet secluded enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. Our host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a stress-free stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend Timbers Edge for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!
