This truly is a getaway cabin tucked in the mountains without another cabin in sight! You’ll enjoy a private and peaceful stay with breathtaking Mountain Views! It’s a perfect fit for a couple or 2 friends! With one Queen size bed and one full bath, a full kitchen- equipped to prep and cook cabin meals, breakfast table with gorgeous views that go on and on, and a covered porch with seating for four & a gas grill!! Nestled right across the street from lake Glenville,about 12 mins up the mountain!

We went up to hike Panthertown Valley. The home was so private. A true blessing if you are looking to get away.

Julia provided excellent information leading up to our visit. The cabin is beautiful - the perfect place to disconnect from everything and just relax. If you’re looking for a quiet escape immersed in nature this is the place for you!

The cabin was cute and quiet. Had pretty much everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub and the views. Our dog loved waking through the mountain trails. We enjoyed hiking to High Falls and Ranger Falls. Cashiers is nearby and is such a cute town to visit. We just wished there was at least WiFi at the cabin.

It was very nice, very clean. Good remote get-away trip to unwind. My only complaint is that the hot tub just wouldn't get hot. I couldn't get it to go higher than 98 degrees.

Hi Michael, I’m sorry to hear you had trouble navigating the hot tub controls. I wish you would have messaged for some help, we absolutely could have walked you thru it. The hot tub functions without issue getting hot. It gets to 104. Thanks for your review.

The perfect secluded getaway!

This cabin is PERFECT for getting away from it all. The hot tub was fantastic. The view is spectacular. We had the best weekend away.

The view is spectacular and the drive up the mountain to get to the cabin is not to bad. The cabin was clean and had every thing we needed. Would stay here again

Sweet little cabin in the woods. Very private and peaceful. Beautiful view! Sitting on the little porch to drink coffee was the best. Nice kitchen with all the amenities one would need to cook a meal. Easy check in. Our Prius made it up the road just fine. Lovely stay, thanks!

Birthday Getaway

We had the best unplugged weekend ever. We enjoyed the views from every window. It even snowed on our last day. Perfect weekend!! Place had everything we needed. And communication with the host was quick and easy. We look forward to staying here again.

Fantastic

This was exactly what we were looking for. Amazing view, just like the listing portrays. The kitcen has the essentials, but all we did was make coffee. Locals and Happs (nearby restaurants) are both very good! The place was clean and well taken care of. The location is very private and quiet. If you want to unplug and relax, this is a great destination.

Break from reality!!

Fantastic! Property is just as owner describes….minimal but everything you would need for a break from the real world. Cabin is totally secluded, amazing views, wonderful hot tub. We picked up some great stuff at the cashiers farmers market and cooked some amazing meal!! Highly recommended!!

Cozy, private cabin—unplug and enjoy the amazing views!

This little cabin is simply wonderful to unplug, enjoy peace, solitude, and simplicity, and soak in the amazing mountain views. The road is quite a hike, zig zagging up gravel, but doesn’t require 4WD and is well worth it as long as you want to thoroughly enjoy the cabin and run into town only once or twice a day. The hot tub is great and also enjoys the mountain views . The kitchen and all accommodations are very basic, but they are comfortable and meet all your basic needs. It’s a great escape from the busyness and clutter of most “normal” life!

Perfect Little Getaway

Beautiful secluded little hideaway is nestled on the side of a mountain, with great views of the larger mountains that form the Eastern Continental Divide. No TVs, no WiFi, no distractions: just quiet space to get away from the day to day. Our ATT phone service did work quite well, so you aren’t cut off completely from the outside world. Hot tub is fabulous and the little side porch with rocking chairs is very relaxing. It’s a little trek up the mountain from the nearest grocery store, so take anything that you might need with you when you head up to the cabin. We loved it!

Beautiful Views

There was some pros and cons as to why I didn’t give it 5 stars. The positives are: the beautiful view, it was amazing to wake up to even with the fog that rolled in for a bit, the comfy bed, hot tub, washer/drier, fire pit and very remote and relaxing. It was a good experience with the remoteness. But the negatives were: there were tons of lady bugs in the house and the floor looked like it had not been swept, make sure to have bedroom shoes the bedroom floor is alittle rough and take wash clothes for the shower. There were hand and body towels but I never found wash clothes, dish clothes, or dish towels.
