Esta moderna unidad de dos dormitorios con dos baños frente al mar tiene una gran cocina con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y un conveniente baño en la planta baja. La zona de estar cuenta con suelos de tejido bronceado, TV LCD y reproductor de DVD. Las comidas se pueden disfrutar en una mesa de comedor ovalada de cristal o en el bar.

La terraza privada con fantásticas vistas de la costa sur. El dormitorio principal cuenta con un baño en suite. El segundo dormitorio tiene dos camas y el segundo dormitorio tiene un combo de ducha / baño. La unidad incluye una lavadora / secadora.

We had a wonderful stay at Poipu Shores. The location is great for a family walking distance to the beach. The view is amazing. The noise of the waves is pristine and unique. A stay we will remember

Great Location

We had a lovely stay here. The walk to the beach is quick and beautiful and the property staff was pleasant. I really enjoyed the salt water pool as well. If you are in need of A/C, just make sure your unit is equipped as all are not.

The view was incredible with great proximity to restaurants, beach and shopping. The unit was very nice with a wonderful balcony and nice layout. Some updates would be nice…especially the carpeting.

Beautiful location with amazing views. Great proximity to Poipu beach. Spectacular view pool. Place was clean and loved having the washer and dryer in the unit. Well appointed kitchen. Only complaint was the carpet was rough and dirty especially in master bedroom area on front of sink

The view from the balcony took my breath away

We could have lived on the balcony-the view, the waves, really brought tears to my eyes. The place was clean, worked well for my family of 6, the kitchen was very well stocked-even a cooler for packing lunches on the beach. The pool was great-perfect for watching sun go down and catching a quick swim or long lounging afternoon. All is all, there are more upscale places in poipu, but none of them had the view and closeness to the ocean that this place had. I can’t wait to return.

Great view but poor condo maintenance

The location, view and furnishings were great - just as advertised on the website. However, none of the appliances in the condo worked properly. Right before our stay we were advised that the in unit dryer didn’t work but in reality the washer didn’t work either. We picked this condo based on ability to do laundry and packed accordingly so this was VERY inconvenient. The stove and refrigerator are also on their last legs - had to have maintenance in for short term fixes. Would definitely stay at this complex again but not this unit.

Crashing Waves

Location, location, location. Loved the proximity to Brennecke’s Beach and Shipwreck beach for boogie boarding. The surround sound of the crashing waves lulled us to sleep every night. If you are into pools (when in Hawaii we are in the ocean), the pool is perched right on top of the ocean, can’t beat the view. The property manager was quick to respond when we made an inquiry about the dryer and coffee maker.

Kaui south shore stay

It's in a great location, however, the unit had a few issues. Make sure you bring comfy shoes to wear inside the unit, the sea grass for carpet is really hard on the feet. It's not soft or smooth at all. Can't really be barefoot unless you have leather feet. Ceiling fans didn't work properly. But magnificent view.

Location is great

Overall this property is very nice. The appliances and the bathrooms are top notch. The location was unreal...right on the water! Listening to the ocean all day and night was great! We saw numerous whales while sitting on the patio (the lanai furniture is wonderful). The pool area is gorgeous - we saw so many sea turtles just over the railing of the pool deck. The downsides were noise - people below or to the sides can be really loud, as well as those walking along the hallway outside the second bedroom. Another issue was safety. When we arrived, we were shocked to find THREE separate notices on the kitchen counter with the welcome packet warning us to shut all the louvers on the windows, use the wood stick to secure the balcony door (if on the first or second floors, and this unit is on the second floor), and deadbolt the door once inside "for our safety". It's HOT in the condo with the windows shut, and the fans appear to be on their last good leg because the highest level barely had them spinning, so we sweated every night. It was a little miserable. We asked the management about the warnings and they seemed to downplay it. We also asked the maintenance person about it and he definitely did not downplay it. He said the area is not safe and that there have been break-ins. We weren't sure who to believe. Then one of our last night's there, we went out to dinner and left the living room and dining room lights on, as well as the TV, to make it look like we were there. We came home to all the lights and the TV turned off! Clearly someone had come in while we were gone, although nothing appeared to be missing. There was no power outage - all the clocks were still on - so that didn't account for everything being turned off. We called the after hours line and they did seem to take us seriously and said they'd look at camera footage. However, we never heard back from them. Finally, the parking spots are tiny and many nights there weren't any available on the level closest to the condos. So just be warned that those are issues at this property. However, again, the location is unbeatable. And the inside of the condo is well cared for, other than needing new fans. We did enjoy our time in the Poipu area and will be back, but will likely look for a unit on the third or fourth floors!

Great view

This Unit has a great view of the ocean. The pool is super fun to swim in after a long day at the beach. You can see the waves and the turtles in the ocean from the pool deck. It's a quick drive to Poipu beach (not walkable from the Unit) This Unit itself was very old and outdated. Needs a refresh, along with all new furniture. There are no extras in the Unit, like beach chairs or boogie boards, so you have to rent everything. Lastly, the parking is not ideal for anyone with a large SUV/car. And parking can be hard to find at night. Overall the Unit is ok for a couple of nights, but there are much nicer places in Kauai to stay.
