Welcome to Sawyer Farmhouse, in the heart of Sawyer Michigan in Harbor Country! Home is located two minutes from Exit 12 off highway. Just 2 blocks to Greenbush Brewery, Infusco Coffee and Sawyer Garden Center. It’s just 5 minutes drive to Warren Dunes beach and a few minute drive in any direction you will find yourself at a beach, hikes, nature preserve, berry picking, brewery, golfing, winery, dining or shopping.
This home has four bedrooms and two full bathrooms, set on 2 acres with a brand new private, heated, inground pool with a power safely cover. Home features a beautiful back deck with sunset views. There is a fire pit next to the original silo and 2 acres to explore the fruit and berry trees, birds and wildlife. Home has an updated kitchen with brand new appliances (fridge, range and microwave June 2023) just three small steps up on the porch- and a main floor bedroom with full bathroom. The long private driveway can easily fit 4-6 cars if needed. It’s center to all of the southwest Michigan favorite attractions and perfect for quality time with family and being able to relax and have everything you need to feel at home. Will require copies of IDs, and signature additional separate rental agreements- please reach out with questions or special scheduling questions or requests - we would love to try our best to accommodate

We had a great time a the Farmhouse. It was clean and the decorations were soPretty. The pool and backyard were perfect and had everything we needed!

Excellent for a family summer vacation

Highly recommended and we would stay again. The house is set up well for families with small children. Lot's to do. Very clean. Good location.

Amazing stay

This property has an amazing new pool in which our family spent a lot of time. It is a cute old farmhouse that has been updated with many new beautiful features. It had every amenity you can think of to prepare meals and also some thoughtful snacks. We had a great time.

Relaxing Family Vacation Spot

We had a great time staying at this location. The kids really enjoyed the new pool. The owner was exceptional with communication and making sure everything was perfect. The property is only a few blocks from great restaurants, microbrewery, and coffee shop (all really good by the way). On any given day we had between 6-8 people overnighting, and never felt crowded. A/C was very cold as well (big plus in my book). Thank you again Megan for you hospitality!

Beautiful Farmhouse

Our stay was fantastic. The farmhouse was super clean and cute and is very walkable to local markets and microbrewery. The owner Megan is exceptionally nice and available. Can’t wait to come back.

What a great place to spend time with your family! The home and property were very nicely appointed. Lots of extras that we weren't expecting. A large yard allowed us to feel like we were in our own world and not in a busy summer town.The pool was great! Perfect for a family to play and swim in. The kids loved finding all the toys and games for us to use.The owners/managers should get 10 stars for their communications and follow up. Very easy check in and a simple departure process. Sawyer is a lovely little town with it's own restaurants and very close to the beach and dunes.

Perfect Stay

Perfect location to visit the beaches and southwestern Michigan. The Sawyer Farmhouse is the perfect place for someone with kids, so many toys we didn’t even take out a fourth of them. Well stocked, I packed way too much and was able to leave a lot in the bag. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Relaxation

Great location to use as a base to explore the surrounding regions. Megan was a great host and provided several activities for my four teen girls and provided several suggestions of what to do during our stay. The house provided for a great vacation for our two families of four.

Another Great Stay at the Farmhouse!

This was our second year staying at the farmhouse, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The addition of the in-ground pool was a fantastic upgrade, we spent so much time enjoying the water with the stunning farmland views in the background. It’s also in a perfect location, just a short drive to Warren Dunes State Park and downtown New Buffalo.The house was very clean and had plenty of space, with lots of beds and rooms to comfortably accommodate our group. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, they even left a birthday balloon and gift for my daughter, which made her day extra special!If I had one small suggestion, it would be to bring a few extra pillows, especially for the larger beds, which were a bit light on support and comfort.Overall, a truly excellent stay. We highly recommend this home and these wonderful hosts, and we look forward to returning again!

The house was the perfect place to celebrate my milestone birthday weekend! It was stocked with everything we needed from the kitchen to pool towels. We were a large group and the rooms were big enough to accommodate all of us and we never felt like we were on top of each other. The pool was beautiful, clean, though a bit warm...but offered an escape from the heat. The location was great. Close to Warren Dunes State Park, an easy drive into New Buffalo for groceries and a dinner out...though we preferred staying at the house most of the time.Check-in and check-out procedures and communications were available, when I asked for them. The hosts were extremely responsive, and helpful.Thank you for a great stay! I would absolutely come back again!

The perfect family getaway!

What an amazing stay! We couldn't have asked for more! Everything was wonderful. The plunge pool was perfect for the kids, the house was stocked with everything we needed and management was phenomenal! They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! Wonderful location close to restaurants, a brewery, coffee shop, etc. No shortage of fun things to do in the area for both adults and kids! We can't wait to come back!

Keiper Family Getaway

It was my birthday & I wanted to book a house that was close to the beach & also had a pool. One that could accommodate my daughter & her partner, my son, his wife & my granddaughter & I wanted it in southern Michigan. The Sawyer Farmhouse had it all & more! We loved our stay & our host Megan was absolutely wonderful! Could not have asked for a better getaway destination! 😊

Family weekend

We plan a long family oriented weekend every year including my husband, myself, sons, daughter in laws, and grandchildren. This house met our needs perfectly. I cant say enough about our host Megan. She was very helpful with input on local sites and restaurants, and quick to respond to messages. Thdsperfectly

Cozy farmhouse 10 min from everything!

My husband and I spent a long weekend here in October with my toddler and parents. Overall, it was a very clean property with great additions for babies (toys, books, baby gate). There was lots of space upstairs and we were able to have our toddler sleep upstairs while we hung out downstairs. Had lots of fun with the campfire, local wineries, apple picking and dunes! The upstairs had electric heaters but we didn’t need them even though it was in the 40s at night.

Great summer escape from the city

We rented this house for a multi generation mother daughter trip. It was perfect. The house is absolutely charming. Very well decorated and stocked. The living room and kitchen were very comfortable for family time and easy to keep an eye on little ones. It was nice having twin beds in two of the rooms for toddlers and ample space in two of the bedrooms for a pack n play. The owner was incredible and very responsive. We really felt like we were staying at a friend's home. It was very welcoming. Although the weather didn't fully cooperate, we were able to spend a little time on the beautiful back deck and enjoy the pool one afternoon.

Absolutely Loved This Farmhouse!

We spent a long weekend at the Sawyer Farmhouse with 4 generations of family ranging in ages of 1-80. It was so cute, clean, and within a 5 min drive to Warren Dune State Park and so close to cute shops, restaurants, and wineries. The host was more than accommodating of our large group and made it a point to go out of her way to check in on and make sure didn't need anything during our stay. We all had plenty of space, and loved how big the kitchen and living room were for family games nights. The plunge pool was a nice bonus for when we needed a break from the beach. We really didn't need to bring much of anything with us, because the house was so stocked! We will definitely be staying at the Farmhouse again in the future. This house is absolutely perfect for family vacations, bachelorette parties, friend trips, or just about anything!!

Work Trip to St Joseph

This was the cutest, most peaceful vacation rental we have ever stayed at - The owners were ever accommodating - the furniture (living, bed, kitchen)was so comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped- and the plunge pool was the icing on the cake after a day of work! The farmhouse was on a huge piece of property with gardens and fruit trees - sitting on the front porch felt like home! the farmhouse is less than a mile from a small market, a farmers market, brewery and coffee house - anywhere we wanted to go we were less than a mile from 94 - SO convenient but also seemed like we were living in the country! The mat on the back porch says "come as guests, leave as friends" and I completely feel like that was the case - I would highly recommend this to EVERYONE!
