Great location!

Our first time on Pokegama. My wife and I and four young adults spent a wonderful time on the lake. The location on the lake is ideal: great access to the rest of the lake; sandy bottom; beautiful view facing south east. We are members of Your Boat Club (YBC), and selected Pokegama because YBC location and access to pontoons and fishing boats. The property has a well-kept dock that we used for boating. The cabin is 50 feet from the lakeshore, sandy beach. The cabin is as advertised: large deck facing the lake; updated kitchen with all necessary amenities; the main family room/kitchen is perfect for rainy days and views of the lake; the bedrooms were clean and functional. One bathroom is a bit tight for six adults, but we made it work. Dan and Patty are perfect hosts: responsive, attentive and pro-active. If you are looking for a great location, cabin experience on Pokegama this is the place!

Great place to spend a week at the lake!

Great location. Quiet and secluded but just minutes from town or Nightlife. Nice sandy swimming area. The owners were very kind and ultra accommodating. The cabin had everything you could want to have a fun filled stay on Lake Pokegama. We caught fish off of the dock, we caught loads of fish by boat in the lake. Thank you again P and D for a wonderful week for our family.

Perfect large family vacation

My folks took the whole family (25 of us) to this awesome place!! With 12 adults and 13 grown children we rented all three cabins and had plenty of room for all of us. We were all together but had our space. Dan was there when we arrived and showed us around. The lake was perfect with 2 restaurant/bars and the golf course! The deck and beach area were great for hanging out and playing yard games. The main reason why we choose this resort - there is no actual steps from the cabins to the dock - all grass and a short distance! This made it great for my dad, who has a hard time getting around. It worked perfectly for him. We could not have asked for any better place. Thank you Dan for a wonderful vacation. I have a feeling we will be seeing you in the future! Thank you!

Excellent cabin getaway!

Our family had a wonderful time at the cabin! It is very nicely done and fit our family perfectly! It was exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful kitchen and comfortable beds! I especially loved having a washer and dryer! Lake Pokegema is a beautiful lake with lots of sandbars and islands to explore. Our beach and swimming area was nice and sandy for the kid, and included a swimming raft. We had a private dock to park our boat and and for the kids to fish off of. We had two kayaks just for our cabin, which was wonderful! We all loved that! A wonderful stay. We will definitely be back!

Incredible vacationing location

I have now been privileged to go on trips to these cabins on two separate occasions, and I certainly plan on many more in the future! My wife and I even got engaged while staying here and out on Lake Pokegama! The cabins are wonderful and spacious, everything you will need. The water is a little smelly from the sink but certainly drinkable. If it is extremely bothersome perhaps just plan on bringing a couple jugs of water along. Other than that, everything is wonderful. Being right on the water is perfect for swimming, kayaking, and nighttime fires. Cabins are extremely well kept and the owners are super cool! Again, fully expect to stay here again!

Fun Times All Around

Excellent cozy cabin that is right on the water with perfect level lakeshore and a hard sandy bottom to boot! We were up there with friends and were also able to rent a pontoon from the owners for the week. The cabin yard is perfect for grilling and yard games and the lake is absolutely fantastic. There are islands to explore, beaches, and you can boat to a beautiful golf course or go play sand volleyball at Zorbaz. Lots of fun and we all hope to be back again next summer!

Perfect Family Vacation!

A most beautiful, cozy and fun cabin and property. Our family of 4 had a wonderful vacation filled with endless boating, swimming in the gorgeous lake, lounging on the perfectly manicured lakeshore and enjoying the private location of this great escape. We could not have asked for more. The owners are wonderful and put a lot of love in this clean and absolutely perfect cabin. Already looking forward to next year!!

Good Times!

We stayed at two of the three cabins that this property manager owns. There was a ton of beds and it was great for our group. Fishing on Pokegama is phenomenal, and we had a great time grilling, playing yard games and bonfires at night. It's also really cool to have a golf course, and a bar restaurant on the lake.
