Private dock equipped with boats and kayaks so you can go boating, lobstering, clamming, or just laying down under the sun and watch seagulls and duck swimming by. This property is nicely furnished with a full kitchen, everything you need is provided to make sure you enjoy your wonderful stay.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay and especially enjoyed the incredible view and access to the water. (They have paddles and life jackets for the kayaks) We spent hours both nights on the dock and loved getting to take the kayaks out. The living space had everything we needed with lots of natural light from the wrap around windows with view of the water from all sides!! We forgot to bring coffee and they ended up having some in the kitchen already! The boat house is attached to another house which has a porch adjacent to the dock and a few apartments behind it, but it still felt peaceful to us being in the house and on the dock. the dock is attached directly to the boat house! We absolutely loved staying here and wish we had planned to stay a bit longer. We definitely recommend and hope to stay here again!

This is a very nice space with extremely thoughtful details by the owner. It is as advertised. One should be aware that the parking situation is very tight (only room for one car and 20 point maneuver to back out of it when spaces next to you are filled up) and that there are quite a few stairs down into the boathouse without a railing to use. I personally would not go swimming as it is tucked into a corner of a bay and there are so many ducks here - lovely to watch, not to swim with as quite shallow, lots of mud flats during low tide. The water pressure is quite low (keep in mind we are in a drought) but was hard to get soap out of long hair. It would have been nice to have a note left that the freezer in the fridge was not working as when I went to leave my ice packs were not frozen. There was a stand alone freezer which I thought odd, but ignored as why use it? Now I know why it was there! Some of the main windows you look through at the beautiful bay/inlet are getting somewhat old with that weird film that obscures the view between the panes. It was remarkably quiet even though right off the road. Very convenient location for getting both into Brunswick and towards islands.

Location was beautiful. Enjoyed the dock everyday. If you are looking to be on the water you will enjoy this rental. Very quiet location. Lots of ducks and birds to enjoy. We saw a seal one morning. Close to stores.

Beautiful views. The children (11 and 13) loved using the kayaks. A huge spacious room with many amenities and very clean. The steps leading down to the door might be a challenge for someone with limited mobility.

It was very cool to stay over the water and to be able to walk down and sit out on the deck and the floating deck. The property is located on a very busy road and it is very easy to drive by the property. The parking is tight. Otherwise lovely stay.

Great place to relax and watch the seagulls and heron. Quiet even though there is a building in back of the boathouse that is a rental. General store and small restaurant just down the road. The king size bed was very comfortable. The boathouse has everything you need.

Perfect location

This rental was perfect for my husband and I to stay in while visiting family in the area. The cabin itself had everything we needed, including a large and very comfortable bed! Proximity to Cooks Corner made picking up groceries or take-out so easy. The check-in process was simple, and communication with the host was great. I accidentally left my kindle behind, and they were kind enough to reach out and mail it to me! Our only wish was that parking was more plentiful so that our family could have more easily come to see us on site.

Maine by the sea

Very clean, host has all that is needed for a comfortable stay. The view and morning sunrise was beautiful. The fact that it was pet friendly was awesome. Sitting on the deck watching the wildlife was so relaxing. Ease of access to Islands and main Thruways was a bonus. I was abit suprised when I pulled in and saw a motel like establishment. The pictures of the boathouse were accurate, not surrounding 4 motel like rooms.

Getaway

We so enjoyed staying in the open, light filled Boathouse. The highlight was the nightly visit to our dock by the Great Blue heron, who enjoyed fishing off the dock. Also loved watching the terns, egret, and bald eagles!

Amazing Property and Amazing Hosts

I don’t think it’s possible for me to express how amazing of an experience I had staying at Anna’s place. The property itself was spacious and clean. It has everything you could possibly need for cooking, bathing, and lounging. They provided coffee, snacks, and toiletries.The views are absolutely incredible. We saw a lobster boat picking up traps in the morning and a seal on our kayak. In addition to the amazing property, these hosts are just good people that truly care about the people staying at their property. Anna was extremely responsive and went out of her way to help us out in a tough situation. I can’t recommend staying here more. Thank you!!

Very enjoyable stay

Really like this stay. You are not near the water you are over the water. Great water views and there is a dock and kayaks for your use. The unit is quite large and comfortable.

Windows all around with beautiful views

This unique property features three walls of windows for enjoying the beauty of the water, sky, trees around you. Relax inside or out while watching the birds and boaters. Everything you need is inside, including a fully furnished kitchen and a bathroom with generous samples of anything you might have forgotten. Our time here was very relaxing and the view was hard to leave.

Great communication, quite place, would stay again

Great place to stay. In a very quiet area, with beautiful views of the cove. Next to some delapidated apartments with boarded up windows, which threw me off a bit, but the place itself was nice and other homes next to it and in the area were also nice and well maintained, so not a bad area overall. The host was great to communicate with and very responsive with a problem I had and was able to remedy myself. I greatly appreciate that. Very close to multiple grocery stores and shopping for anything you may need.

One of a kind stay on the water

So dreamy! This boathouse really makes you feel like you’re floating on water, with gorgeous views of the harbor from all sides. The hosts were so sweet - they clearly love where they live and take pride in their home. The kitchen was well stocked - there were snacks available which was a nice touch. Plenty of clean towels with a washer and dryer available to use. The wow-factor is that you have direct, private ocean access. The sliding door opens up to a small deck with a ramp that takes you down to the water. The float/dock had two lounge chairs set up, plus two kayaks available - it’s a quiet harbor with picturesque, quintessential Maine views. I loved sipping my coffee, watching the lobster boats come and go and herons flying across the sky. Honesty, this is my dream home - I only wish I could’ve stayed longer. The location is perfection. With that said, the one and only improvement I would make would be a mattress upgrade - I didn’t lose sleep over it, but it could’ve been comfier. Even so, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!
