Great stay at this property

The property has everything that you would need for a relaxing stay. Everything has been well thought out and provided for. The location is a 5 to 10 minute walk from supermarkets and beach. We loved it here and felt safe and it.,

Absolutely perfect

This place is a hidden gem in a lovely setting just behind Hometown. It's quiet yet close to everything. Beautiful property and the most comfortable bed I've ever stayed in! Communication was superb right from the booking, and the owners came to our rescue when our flight was cancelled for 3 days. Don't hesitate in booking, it's perfect

Great location and communication

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Host was proactively communicative and helpful. Location is great as it's only a few minutes walk to the Lime Grove shopping center and the main coastal road. Would definitely stay again!

14 days stay Holetown Barbados

Property location was excellent for shopping, restaurants and walking distance from the beach. In side of the property was clean. The sofa had seen better days, and was not comfortable. From the upstairs hallway and the complete downstairs was extremely hot, unbearably at times . AC was only in the two bedrooms, but we were very careful not to use it during the day, as we could be charged extra.

Great location

A very spacious & well equipped property with a nice area to sit at the rear. Good location for the beach & supermarkets. Also very close to holetown car rental. The bedrooms are air conditioned. We struggled a bit with the heat in the rest of the property even with the ceiling fans. The tumble drier was not working & this was a little disappointing. We didn’t find out about the key for the kitchen door until we were departing which might have given us a bit of a breeze while cooking.

Great location not far from beach

So enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, including beachfront bars, and a very large supermarket. Lots of snorkelling accessible from the beautiful beaches nearby and frequent cheap buses running up and down the coast road to other towns, making exploring the island easy. We also used a good local car hire firm around the corner, which was very convenient. The house was immaculately clean and well maintained with every item you could need for cooking, in the well equipped kitchen. The house has two very good sized ensuite bedrooms and a nice large outdoor space to enjoy out back, as well as another smaller one. The property is not beachfront, but that is reflected in the price. We would very happily return here again!

Lovely property close to the shops, bars and restaurants in Holetown

I have just returned from a wonderful three week stay in this property. The property is within easy walking distance (about 10 to 15 minutes) of the beach, shops, bars and restaurants of Holetown. The property is in excellent condition and forms a wonderful base for a relaxing holiday - no car is necessary. The owners are friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay close to Holetown.

Perfect getaway.

Superb property in a super location. We found it too big for 2 people, but would be ideal for a family or friends. Would recommend to anyone! Host's were great with their communication, thanks again for a great stay and a great holiday.

Two weeks chill out

We hired a car direct from the airport and drove via the supermarket to the property. The property is on of 5 at number 47 and down a small cul-de-sac. Despite the lateness Natalie was there to greet us and was kind and very helpful. The property was very clean and well equipped with parking outside for one car. There is good internet cover, and it is roomy and quite comfortable. The bedroom we used was at the front of the house and again clean and tidy. There is a small terrace at the front off the kitchen. The rear has a small tiled garden with a high wall. There is a roof over half of the garden to provide shade. Four chairs and a table are provided along with an overhead fan. In addition there are two comfortable chairs and a table where we sat to have breakfast. The real plus point are the monkeys which come along the wall twice a day. We opted not have a cleaner as there was only two of us. The cleaner is an extra cost to be paid directly on the island. We kept the electric usage easily within the daily allowance of 25 units. For the two of we averaged about 10 units per day. This is a newish property which wasn’t around when we visited Barbados previously. The owners are friendly and helpful. Location is good in a quiet area and the neighbours keep to themselves. It is an ideal base for exploring the island.

An absolutely fabulous home from home

The property is immaculately decorated an equipped with everything you need It is in a very convenient location but quite and peaceful and a nice little addition to our stay was to see the monkeys in the trees next to the patio Catherine the owners was exceptional with communicating any of our needs and when arriving we were taken care of by natalie who was on hand if we needed her The only small thing was there is no aircon in the living room which is a very tiny thing and for most people is ok but we spent several nights in chilling with a bottle of wine A huge thanks to catherine for a wonderful stay I would gladly recommend to anyone and would and will return Many thanks

Wonderful relaxing break

Wonderful townhouse situated in the centre of Holetown

My husband and I have just returned from a glorious months stay at this modern townhouse in the centre of Holetown. The cleanliness of the house together with the provision of all modern appliances made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Situated in a quiet residential area just minutes walk to good restaurants, shops and beautiful beaches. We hired a car for the duration so we could explore the island but this is not essential as the local transport is excellent. We enjoyed many days out on the West Coast and Atlantic Coast in Bathsheba. We also spent a wonderful day at the Kensington Oval where we watched the ODI between England and the West Indies. Thank you so much Catherine and Christian for looking after all our needs and we look forward to returning to your lovely home from home next year.

Perfect spot

I knew this place had to be the right choice for us because the communication with Catherine was so easy right at the start. Whenever I had any questions she was right there to answer them. We were given all the information about the townhouse a few days before our arrival so if Brian (property manager) wasn't there we could get in and make ourselves at home. Brian was so helpful, he showed us around the home, answered any questions we had and reassured us this was a very safe place and walking at night wasn't an issue. It may not seem important to some but to us it was, we enjoy walking at night. The townhouse was beautiful! It was spotless and everything needed for a weeks vacation was there, fully stocked kitchen, washer, beach towels, etc. This neighborhood was so quiet and as others have said, minutes to beaches, grocery store, restaurants (Zaccios is very good) and bus stops. Brian is available if you need him for any reason, he left his contact information and said not to hesitate if there were issues or questions. His wife Luana, also very nice, was there at check-out to make sure everything went well and if we found there was anything missing or needed for the next guests. Absolutely not, everything was wonderful and I would stay here again 10 time over. Thank you Catherine and Christian, for allowing people to rent your home in paradise, it was truly a great vacation for us. Everything was great from beginning to end although the end came too fast. :-) Merci beaucoup, Sharon and Steven

Beautiful townhome, fantastic location!!!

My wife and I stayed here in March 2018. We immediately loved the townhome. Lots of space, excellent amenities with ceiling fans in all rooms and AC for cooling in the bedrooms. We can’t say enough about the location. Literally minutes from the beach, restaurants, shops etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our days full of activities but the end of the day when we wanted to relax, we found that the townhome was perfectly located in a very quiet neighbourhood. The owners and host were fantastic and extremely helpful and were very quick to answer any questions we had prior to and during our stay. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy the activities of the area but also to enjoy the feeling of being at home.

Comfortable and tasteful house with great owners and housekeepers

We loved to spend our third trip to Barbados at this wonderful and very comfortable house of Catherine and Christian. Furniture and decoration was very tasteful. It is a big and well equipped house with nothing missing. Every window and even the whole terrace was equipped with mosqito nets. We decided to sleep in the second bedroom, where two beds were pushed together to one big bed, where we could sleep together with our little daughter. We had 11 very quiet and comfortable nights in that bedroom. We were welcomed by Brian and Louana, they were so kind and pleasent and they explained everything we had to know about the house. It was also great to be contacted by Catherine and Christian a several times, they were so endeavored to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The house is located very quiet. 4 times we were visited by some monkeys in the little yard, what especially was great for our little girl. It was our third trip to Barbados and our second at Holetown. The location couldn‘t have been better. There was Holetown-cars in directly neighborhood, where we rented a small car. The beach is just a few minute walk away. If you like eating in different restaurants, you find a lot of them only a short distance away from the house. When we visit Barbados we prefer eating Bajan-food out of vans or at little Grill-bars next to the street. It was great to find such a grill, where we also could buy fresh coconut-water, and a little Pavillon, wehren Doubles werd sold, next to Jamestown-Park. So Catherine and Christian thank you for a wonderful vacation at your house. Habe a Merry Christmas and a happy new year 2018. Lovely townhouse 5 minutes from the beach

We had a wonderful stay at Catherine and Christian's townhouse in Holetown! They were very friendly and accommodating in their correspondences, answering all our questions and giving helpful advice. We immediately felt at home when we arrived. The townhouse was very clean and comfortable with a modern, well-equipped kitchen and a nice, personal touch throughout. It also has a lovely patio in the back where we barbecued and watched monkeys climbing along the back wall. The neighborhood was very quiet and an easy five minute walk to a beautiful beach. We actually ended up preferring the south coast of Barbados because we found it to be a bit livelier and more family-friendly, but if you are looking for a relaxing stay near the beach then this is the perfect place! I highly recommend it.

Great accomodations close to everything

I have been to Barbados several times, although it was my first time at this condo. I accompanied my mother (85 years old) on her first visit to Barbados. We enjoyed our stay at this well equipped and beautifully decorated condo. It was very clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful and responded to any questions I had promptly. There are 2 air-conditioned bedrooms/baths upstairs and although the main floor is not air-conditioned there are 3 fans that serve the purpose. When we were not out in the evening, we enjoyed sitting in the back patio which is enclosed by a high wall and ventilated with a fan. You can often see monkeys along the wall early in the morning. The walk to the beach or to catch a bus is about 5 min......it is10-15 min (depending how briskly you walk) if you want to rent beach chairs for the day at surfside. There is a shortcut across the canal but my mother being 85 could not manage it. It is 10 -15 minutes to a grocery store and a selection of restaurants. We especially enjoyed Drifts where you can have a drink and snacks and watch a beautiful sunset. We certainly loved every minute and we would return if we ever have the opportunity to do so! I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to enjoy the best of Barbados.

Delightful Stay

We agree with other reviewers' enthusiastic comments about this modern, well-situated, comfortable townhouse. The administrative details of our booking were simple, our check-in and departure processes were smooth and all the information provided by Christian and Catherine was helpful and accurate. Everything in the house -- especially the air conditioning and hot water -- worked perfectly. The location is superb and the congenial relationship (for beach and pool use) with the Discovery Bay resort at the foot of "our" street was a huge bonus. We found the "walk to" beaches nearby to be the best on the island. We enjoyed a friendly encounter with one of the neighborhood's green monkeys while walking back from the beach one day. Although the sea water was unusally turbulent during our visit, the visibility was still adequate for snorkelling and we took advantage of the tip in the house's notebook to join in the turtle watching just north of the Fairmont Hotel. Hope others enjoy the house as much as we did.

Welcome to vacation wonderland!

Beautiful place to spend your vacation. Nice and cozy, very clean, with all the facilities needed. Walking distance to the beach, some restaurants, grocery store and a mall. How does it get any better than this? The owners are friendly, honest and always ready to help to make your stay the best experience ever. I would and did recommend this property to my friends and family. Count on me to go back!!!

Splendid! Home away from home!

We had a superb and relaxing stay in Holetown. There wasn't the hussle and bussle of vacation resorts where everything goes by time schedules. The accommodations were excellent in this new condo, fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, and even BBQ facilities in the back court which was very private. Everything was beautifully decorated and enhanced the mood of Barbadoes. The condo is in a quiet neighbourhood where there is no pedestrian/car traffic, yet so close to the major hotels, eateries and shopping malls. There is a modern grocery store, just minutes away by foot if you wish to provide your own breakfast, lunches, or suppers. Though all the hotels have beaches that are 'open to the public' the nicest one that we found was a public beach just 8 minutes away by foot at Folkestone Marine Park. Sandy beach with shallow refreshing water for a good stretch. Also, public transportation is just minutes away to visit other sites. My wife's comment "We're afraid that we have fallen in love with Barbados and look forward to coming back. You have a sweet home away from home"! Hank and Linda

Wonderful vacations!

We are Canadian from St-Bruno-de-Montarville, in South shore of Montréal area, province of Québec. Christian is an engineer and I (Catherine) am a teacher at elementary school. For us, first time in Barbados was in April 1990 and we immediately felt in love with this fantastic island! After 25 years of many others travels and cruises in Europe and everywhere in the Caribbean,we decided to find our perfect 'home to home' for small getaway or more longer vacations. Barbados was still our first choice!
