While guests have full access to the entire house and outdoor areas, please note that the outside building (barn) is not available for guest use.
Jomayne Buehler manages the property and is available to assist you during your stay. Communication will primarily be through the booking app, ensuring a convenient and seamless experience for any inquiries or assistance you may need.
Although this cabin is nestled in the country, those guests who love outdoor adventures do not have to look far. A few options are Morganton Point Recreation Area (9 miles), Blue Ridge Lake (10 miles), Fall Branch Falls (24 miles), and Chattahoochee National Forest (32 miles). For the very brave, the area offers white water rafting, tubing, kayaking, and stand-up paddling on the Toccoa River below the Lake Blue Ridge Dam. Other nearby activities include Blue Ridge Scenic Railway (14 miles), Mercier Orchards (15 miles), and Expedition: Bigfoot! The Sasquatch Museum (19.4 miles). Guests who love to sip and sample, try Grumpy Old Men Brewing (14 miles), Serenberry Vineyards (14 miles), and Bear Claw Vineyards & Winery (17 miles).
We are offering a 20% discount for smaller families who are interested in renting the upper level only (sleeping 5 maximum). Please contact us to inquire about the discounted price.
1. An additional $50 will be charged each hour after 10 a.m. the cabin or grounds are occupied.
2. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
3. Evidence found of pets in the home or on the grounds will result in a $500 recovery fee.
5. Please do not feed any animals including the old black neighborhood dog that comes by (he has owners), bears, deer, raccoons, squirrels, cats, coyotes, or birds.
6. No candles/smoking/vaping/drug use (including medicinal marijuana) inside the cabin or on decks/porches. Evidence of such will result in a $500 recovery fee. Please ensure that cigarette buds are fully extinguished outside and not left smoldering.
7. If the grill has been used, ensure the gas has been completely turned off.
8. We use a monitored security system for your safety and to keep our cabin secure. This system has a base that MUST remain plugged in at all times and may not be unplugged for ANY reason. If the base is unplugged or one of the cameras disconnected, an armed person will be sent to the cabin within minutes and will enter the home.
9. Please don’t put unbagged trash in the outside trash can. We have bears and raccoons in the area attracted to food and unbagged trash. Unbagged trash will result in a $50 fee.
