Icelandic Adventure

Wonderful location and accommodations. Close to great restaurants and excursion drop off/pick up locations. We had an amazing time exploring this beautiful country and look forward to a return trip!!

The facility was very well equipped, best evwer. One small problem, no information as to what to do with garbage, There were 12 of us and we stayed for a week; no garbage pick up at all during the week. We bagged it and put it out on the porch. More info in the area would have been helpful; Other than that, it was grfeat !!!!!!!

Amazing apartment right in the heart of Reykjavík! Had everything we needed. Perfect for our group of 10. Each couple had their own master with their own bathroom. Location, location, location!! The balcony is amazing! Owner is very responsive. Had an amazing stay at this apartment.

Great location, beautiful flat

This beautiful apartment provided us with a perfect setting to enjoy our visit to Iceland. We each had our own room with our own bathroom. While the entry system (code, not key) was very sensitive and difficult to operate, we eventually got it down. Everything else was perfect. Gathering space was beautiful, we loved the balcony, the view, the city, the proximity to restaurants, grocery store. Our contact was very helpful, even when we would repeatedly call because we couldn't get the doors open! Lovely, lovely, lovely! Would happily stay there again.

Stayed there for my daughters birthday. What they don't bother tell you in their VRBO ad is that its a modern building with no elevator. at least three flights of steps After you make your final payment they dislose this info. This is essentially lying by omission. The host wanted an extra 1,000 dollars to check in early. I would never rent from this manager or this unit again Try the Hilton it's much nicer the food is good and they don't misrepresent their product

City Center Gem

We chose this location for its proximity to sights in Reykjavik. The apartment was clean & well appointed. The bedrooms are spacious. The rooms with a sofa? They fold out quickly into a double bed. We were there in the summer, so 20+ hours of daylight followed by only twilight. YMMV, but we didn’t need sleep masks—the blackout curtains were fine. Some reviews mention noise from the bar on ground level. In our week, we could make out music from there only once, and it wasn’t enough to disturb sleep. NOTE: If you sleep with the windows open the main noise will be early in the morning as delivery trucks for the shops arrive. We usually kept the windows open until bedtime, then closed them, so outside noise wasn’t an issue. The common area is open, bright & airy. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes & cooking utensils, pans, etc. There is a well stocked spice drawer too. The house guide has more information, but there’s a Kronan grocery almost immediately behind the building, and a Bonus market a few blocks up the street. There is also a washer & dryer for use in a closet in the common area. The rooftop balcony has a view of the harbor area, a great view of Rainbow Street, up to Hallgrímskirkja. Most tours & Airport transfers have pick ups at Bus Stop 6, which is just a block away. We didn’t need a car for our week. Someone comes by daily to empty the trash in the common area & restock needed supplies like paper towels or bathroom tissue. Fully recommend!

Amazing location and place

We loved this spot. Right in the heart of Reykjavik so a great place to walk from. The unit itself was fantastic—really light and comfortable. Note to expect compact bathrooms but it was just part of the experience and they were very functional andnice.

Great place for a group

We had a group of 8 on our first trip to Iceland (I'll be back). The apartment has 5 bedrooms each with it's own small bathroom. There is a large common room with a kitchen that has all of the plates, glasses, pots, pans and utensils you would need. The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything that is happening.

Fantastic Apartment!

We had a group in this building and rented two of these 5-bedroom apartments. They were awesome and our birthday trip was a blast! I would definitely consider staying here again when we return in the future. Fantastic accommodations and location.

Perfect Stay

We just returned from our stay at the property. Our party consisted of a group of 8 friends traveling for a four day mountain bike trip. All of us are very well traveled executives who are used to staying in high end properties on a regular basis and every one of us loved the property. The location downtown was perfect and the layout of the penthouse with a common area and 5 separate bedrooms was ideal. I had a few questions prior to the trip and Maria was very responsive and clear with answers I needed. The property was perfect and I would highly recommend it for groups traveling to Reykjavic. Amazing Weekend Experiencing Iceland for the First Time

Myself and group were very impressed with the overall spaciousness, cleanliness, and accommodations of the property. The balcony was perfect for enjoying the sunsets and business of the city. We had no issues with access. Overall, the property was in the perfect locations to food, bus stops, attractions, and nightlife. Maria was very responsive to any questions and support. We would recommend any group to stay at this property!

Positives: best location. Spacious apartment. Nice size bedrooms. Huge balcony. Clean. Nicely equipped kitchen. Accommodated the 10 of us beautifully. Negatives: Three flights of stairs. Tiny bathrooms. No closets. Dryer doesn’t dry - no response from the owner. Couldn’t regulate the very hot water - no response from the owner. Overall, it’s a great place to gather with a large group, and the location cannot be beat!

Beautiful apartment, great location!

Just finished a four night stay at B14 and overall we thought it was great. The finishes are fantastic and the location was ideal. A couple of small things to note: 1. There are no dressers or closets in the rooms, so plan to live out of your suitcase. 2. My shower temperature regulation didn’t work well, so occasionally the water gets very hot. 3. There is no lift and there are lots of stairs. Not a problem for me but if you don’t like stairs, this might not be the place for you. 3. Bathroom was tiny with a super-small sink. No way to have two people in the bathroom at once. Lots of great things about the place though. The kitchen was well stocked and very functional. The housekeeper was very friendly and even emptied the dishwasher each day. If you are looking for a modern clean apartment in the center of the shopping district, you’ll love this place.

Went to Iceland with 14 guys. B14 couldnt have been located in a better location. Right in the middle of everything. The rooms and common area were all clean and well maintained. Easy access to get into the property. The pictures were accurate. Great deck with views of the city. Would highly recommend!

I like things clean and organized and I live to have good time with friends. Fun is the spice of life!
I am in the music business. I run my own music school with 250 students all age from children to adult and they learn how to be a pop singer.:-)
I am also song writer and producer. I produce show for children on TV.

I travel in Iceland in summer time with my motorhome and go to the warm places in winter time.
I love scuba diving, water skiing listen to good music and eat good food.
