House was nice and great views of the Carmel valley mountains. Easy check in and check out processes.Some minor issues like having the hot tub heater not working properly (while paying an extra 100 per night for use) or having too many light switches that didn’t do anything and not having working lights in parts of the house. Even with following owners steps the living room lights wouldn’t work and we spent our time with the main living room in darkness.

Need to have better check in/out process

The gas stove/microwave didn't work (something wrong with the breaker); there was not a house book to give directions for what to do with check in and out procedures; was told I received check in out email with code, but did not receive this, I had to call for the code to get into the place, had no idea how to open the gate to get out. There were no directions for clean up; paid extra for hot tub to be turned on, but had to call after 5pmm to ask to have it turned on, was there less than 24 hours, it should have been heated upon arrival. Was disappointed that the gas stove didn't work and there was no offering to come fix it, we weren't able to cook our meal. That was a very big let down and there was no apology or acknowledgment by Daniel about the inconvenience. As guests, it would have been nice to even acknowledge the troubles we had with the electricity in the house. For the price we paid for the rental, all electricity should have worked in the house and there should have been better directions for how to work all appliances. It is a nice house but your guests should not have to spend time figuring out how to work things or deal with trying to fix the breaker box. Something you need to work on.

Perfect Getaway in Carmel Valley

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Carmel Valley. The views were amazing, and the pool and spa were perfect for relaxing. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to returning. Highly recommend!

Very nice place with great views.Pro's:LocationFloor Plan/ LayoutOutdoor space--pool, hot tub, patio, firepit, etc. It was cold/rainy, so we only used hot tub 2 days; Would be ideal for warmer weather visitsKitchen appliances--3 ovens, 6 burner stove great for cooking; basic utensilsConsIce maker/filtered water not working on arrival; landlord fixed 2 days laterMain living area very dark at night in winter visit, even with huge wall of windows; needs lampsSectional couch only seating in living area; could use some chairsFormal DR for 6 with placemats; no napkins/tableclothFYI: King sized mattress in primary suite is extremely soft; queen mattress has ridge running along the center.

Just stunning

The photos on the listing are fantastic but unbelievably the house is even better in reality. We visited less of Carmel (which is also gorgeous) and the surrounding area than we had planned as it was just too irresistible to spend time at the house, being by the pool and taking in the beautiful views. We also loved sitting under the stars with our girls and the night sky was breathtaking. This place is an absolute stunner. The host Daniel was also great to deal with.

Stunning, bright, relaxing property in Carmel Valley

This house was truly outstanding and had every detail covered. Fresh flowers throughout the house and a stunning garden with pool and hot tub overlooking the breathtaking Carmel Valley blew us away. Home was spacious, bright, with large bedrooms and bathrooms. Very clean and owner was extremely responsive to our questions. We can’t wait to come back again soon and recommend this house to others looking to stay in a beautiful home for a relaxing getaway.
