ALQUILER DE VACACIONES DE CASA DE PUERTA ... Ubicada en un tranquilo vecindario de Glen Ellen, esta casa de 3 dormitorios y 2. 5 baños ofrece hermosas vistas, una gran terraza, hermosos paisajes, una piscina salina y bañera de hidromasaje y un interior espacioso, todo ideal para unas relajantes vacaciones en el campo del vino.

Ingrese a Gate House a través de la "sala de barro" y encontrará salas de estar y comedor formales, una sala familiar con centro de entretenimiento, televisión por cable y DVD. El salón tiene una gran chimenea de piedra y hay pisos de madera en toda la casa. Los encantadores muebles reflejan un estilo rústico con interesantes obras de arte y antigüedades.

La gran cocina remodelada es el sueño de un chef, ¡planificado por el propietario, que es un chef profesional! Todos los servicios se ofrecen en la cocina y hay una nueva parrilla para preparar parte de su comida afuera.

El dormitorio principal con una cama doble, tiene una ducha de vidrio separada y una bañera profunda en el baño adjunto. Hay un segundo baño completo con combinación de bañera / ducha y medio baño con acceso desde el pasillo. El segundo dormitorio tiene una cama queen, mientras que la "habitación de los niños" (tercer dormitorio) tiene una litera y una cama nido que puede convertirse en una cama king size. También hay una sala de "bonificación" con sofá cama tamaño queen, TV, biblioteca, juegos infantiles y cintas.

La hermosa terraza grande es nueva y tiene una mesa para comer al aire libre. Pasee por los escalones hasta la encantadora piscina con jacuzzi incorporado y área de césped. Las vistas de las colinas de Glen Ellen y el parque estatal Jack London son particularmente hermosas al atardecer.

Barry greeted up upon arrival and gave us a tour and pointed out specific things to be mindful of while staying on the property.There are beautiful views and the home is fully equipped with anything you possibly would need.We really enjoyed our stay.

This house was in a fantastic location, and the outside space was amazing. The sunset views from the deck were fabulous and we enjoyed sitting out under the stars and listening to a band play in Jack London Lodge. The kitchen is truly a dream kitchen, and although we didn't use as much as we could have, it was so nice to have everything we could have needed (and then some!). The layout of the house was great for two couples as the main bedroom and guest rooms are on opposite sides of the house. The only upgrade we could suggest is a new mattress in the guest room. Other than that, we enjoyed the space and truly enjoyed our stay in Glen Ellen.

Really enjoyed our stay here - the photos don’t do justice to the property’s lovely pool views nor to the spaciousness of the interior. Also a great kitchen for cooking and a sweet short walk into town for food, wine, coffee and baked goods.

Getaway done right

We decided on a staycation over the 4th of July and this property was a great venue for it. There was something to do for everyone and space to spread out. We ended up getting getting to know Barry, the host, well. He was prompt in his responses and welcoming so it came naturally to reciprocate. We'd stay at this home again.

Great property in a great location!

This house was perfect for my group of 7 girls! The backyard is a dream. Unfortunately the hot tub jets were not working while we were there but the pool is lovely and the views are beautiful! The location of this house was perfect for us to do wine tastings in Sonoma. The town of Glen Ellen is very cute and a short walk. The check in process was so easy and the communication with the host was great. The only reason I did not give this property 5 stars was the cleanliness. There were a few spider webs in the bathtubs and we noticed alot of hair and dust but overall we were extremely happy with our stay!

Napa getaway

Nice large home with plenty of space for 8 adults. Made for a nice jumping off point for a weekend in Napa. Wish the pool was heated, otherwise enjoyed our time there.

Perfect poolside getaway for a Sonoma wedding weekend

The Glen Ellen house was cute, comfortable, and convenient for a wedding weekend trip! The pool was perfect for beating the heat and the backyard views are beautiful. It has a large and well supplied kitchen that was great for cooking our own meals. House is close to town but also tucked away in a nice neighborhood. The host Barry was helpful and communicative. Would recommend!

Great stay in Glen Ellen

Quiet neighborhood, walking distance to downtown Glen Ellen. Views, pool, back deck were fantastic. Hot tub was not functional. Kitchen very well stocked. Communication with Barry was great. Stayed with 4 adults, but definitely space for more. Recommended to all!

Glen Ellen house

Barry was onsite to welcome me and to give me a rundown of the property. The kitchen was great and well supplied with every sort of cooking utensil you could imagine. We didn't get to use the pool as much as we would have liked to, but it was beautiful. The layout of the house is very nice and the bedrooms were clean and well appointed. Overall, this worked out very well for my family. Thank you, Barry

Wonderful home!

My family had a wonderful stay ! We had a blast in the pool . Deck is gorgeous. Huge Kitchen. House is much larger than anticipated. Primary bedroom is huge. Perfect bunk room for kids. Barry was very responsive and helpful. The town is so cute and a great market within walking distance. Restaurants close by. We can’t wait to come back !

Wonderful experience in Glen Ellen

Had a great stay in the Glen Ellen area at Barry's place. Check-in was easy and the host worked with us to accommodate our flight delays and didn't make us feel uncomfortable. Everything we needed in the house during our stay was there for us, as well. The town was just a short drive or walk down the hill with shops and restaurants for all your needs. Great location overall and would highly recommend staying if you're in the area!

Great location!!

Property was in an amazing location able to walk to great restaurants and local wineries. Wine snob is a short 5 minute walk away and is a great spot for a tasting! Would definitely stay again. Backyard and pool were amazing with great views!

Lovely area, lovely stay!

You can't beat this location! The pool is much bigger than it looks in the photos and has an automatic cover which was really nice. We stayed at the end of June so it was hot without A/C (106 outside) but the pool felt great and was nice and warm. We cooked a handful of meals at the house and it was just a great experience overall.

Great location

Overall, we had a fabulous stay with our family. We LOVED the pool and the house was perfect for us. There is a gorgeous view and the location was just what we were looking for. The owner is friendly and personable. It should be noted that there is no central AC, but with the weather in the area, it worked out just fine! The house is spacious and was a great home base for our family during our vacation.

My sister got married in Napa Valley. This was affordable and relatively close by. The property is great and in a quite neighborhood. We walked to a cafe 7 minutes away that was yummy. The hot tub wasnt working but overall 10/10 stay.

Dates Sonoma house

We were disappointed with the condition of the house. The house has many redeeming features including the backyard and the kitchen but needs maintenance, cleaning and updating. We found the house cluttered and the kitchen cabinets and refrigerator in need of cleaning and decluttering. Also the mattresses in the back bedrooms need to be replaced. Our friends were rolling to the middle in the queen and moved to the twin beds. The daybed in there was not up to par either. We were given one hand towel per couple for three days stay which is unacceptable. All in all the house was roomy and has good bones but needs major maintenance both inside and out and TLC.

Fabulous Stay

On our stay we had 8 women & enjoyed our stay immensely. Barry had house stocked with all essentials needed. At first we were alarmed about AC being from Louisiana, but it wasn’t even needed due to temps cooling down in evenings. House is very centrally located, everything was so close. Glen Ellen Village & The Mill was so quaint with several restaurants & even wine tasting right there. Sonoma was 45 minutes & Napa Valley an hour away & Oakland Airport was 1.5 hours. Thanks again Barry for a great stay.

Great "Secret" Find

Can not say enough about how nice this place is....it was like your own little hidden secret in Glen Ellen. We were greeted by the owner and shown the property. Coming from Florida, it is unusual for a house not to have AC and I was a little concerned BUT the house has a wonderful cross breeze with just one or two windows open and it was never a thought (in fact, it was chilly one night). It was soo nice to come back to after a day of winery tours to enjoy the pool, grill up a tasty steak (the grill is awesome) and just enjoy the back porch (huge w/awning!!). It is located within easy walking distance to the little downtown area. The house has a very homey feeling with a gourmet kitchen. Check out was the easiest I think of anywhere we stayed. There are 2-1/2 baths so as 3 adult friends, we found getting ready in the mornings was very easy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Sonoma County.

Long Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend at this property. The house was pretty and clean with a nice large kitchen, and the deck and pool in the back were great places to relax in the mornings and evenings. We would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous 60th Birthday with Family

Perfect location, host, and home! We loved staying here and want to come back year after year. We toured Sonoma and truly enjoyed all that Glen Ellen had to offer - a lot! The house was very comfortable for five adults. The pool was perfect! We had a few pool afternoons together and those were some of my favorite moments with my adult children. Absolute fantastic!

Just do it!! The Getaway is Worth It!!

I found this lovely home tucked away in a beautiful Glen Ellen neighborhood for our getaway. We loved having this home as our home base for the weekend of relaxing and wine tasting. The house is quite spacious with a well equipped kitchen which we took advantage of. I wish I could recommend some of the yummy restaurants close by but having been out all day wine tasting we enjoyed a home cooked meal and hanging out. The backyard was a lovely space to enjoy with a deck (fully equipped with seating areas and a grill) to the lower tier with pool and hot tub. The views from the backyard are truly beautiful. Barry cares for his home and was a good host giving me the grand tour to help get us all oriented. Thanks for sharing your home with us Barry. Kim and Geoff/Laura and Jeff
