2BD/2BA Condo in Avon-At Base of Beaver Creek Ski Resort. On Bus Route!

This 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath condo offers easy access to Beaver Creek and Vail Ski Resorts. 2 Parking Spots available, but a vehicle isn't needed! Walking distance to many restaurants and the ski lift at Beaver Creek or the Gondola at the Westin Hotel. If you don't want to walk and don't have a vehicle, this unit is on the Bus Route, with access to almost anywhere you want to go in Avon or Vail!

The Space:
The master bedroom features a queen size bed with a full ensuite bath with walk in shower. A second bedroom has a queen bed and a full bath with a tub shower combination.

The living room features a wood burning fireplace, TV, and comfortable modern furniture. The TV is compatible with your favorite streaming services. The condo has speedy wi-fi internet throughout.

A small outdoor patio provides beautiful views of the mountains and beaver creek (there is a gorgeous walking trail along the creek for a morning jog or long bike ride). With a grill and small seating area, it's the perfect place to relax and unwind at the end of the day.

The kitchen is fully stocked! With granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances (including microwave and dishwasher), toaster, coffee maker, full set of cookware, and more, you will have everything you need to match the comforts of home. Between the island bar and the dining table, there is seating for 6.

There is a ski/snowboard storage closet outside of the unit. Please store all ski and snowboard equipment in the closet, including boots. Do NOT bring any equipment or wear boots into the unit. The key for ski/storage closet is hanging on a hook inside the door and is clearly labeled.

Guest Access:
Parking is right in front of the unit. One reserved spot #47 and one open spot come with the unit. Vehicle year, make/model/license plate, and VIN MUST be provided before arrival in order to avoid ticketing of non-registered vehicles.

NO SMOKING POLICY: There is absolutely no smoking of anything in the condo or on the patio area. No cigarettes, cigars, vapors, marijuana or any other substance is to be smoked on the premise. If it is suspected by our cleaning staff upon your departure, there will be a $500 fee added and your deposit will be forfeited to mitigate the odors.

No Pets: We love animals as much as you do, but unfortunately this unit does not allow pets of any kind.

All trash and recycling is to be taken to the outside dumpsters and never left outside the door or on the patio. This is a strict HOA policy.

Weather Policy: We understand that weather and road conditions may impact your stay, but we cannot offer refunds due to weather or road conditions.

Listing is NOT Accurate
Rent a car! It is a total untruth that the condo is on the bus route (it's .25 mile walk) While wearing ski boots and carrying skis, it is NOT walking distance to Lower Beaver Creek lift or Riverfront gondola. It is nearly a one mile walk to the Westin Riverfront gondola, and to Lower BC lift - which is uphill without a sidewalk. Nor is it walking distance to many restaurants! When I booked the condo, the listing indicated a king size bed in the primary bedroom. Had I know it was a queen bed, I would not have rented. Also, the living room couch is not a sofa bed as stated, it is just a sofa. More problems - The bar stools are at least 5 inches too short to comfortable eat at the bar. The light fixture/fan in guest room does not work. The light fixture in the ski closet does not work. Primary bath - there is a 3/4 inch gap between countertop and the wall - it needs a backsplash. The valve in the guest bath is backwards. The stovetop is cracked and the stovetop hood is way too low, I can't tell you how many times we banged our heads on the thing. Not included in listing, but the reader should know - there is no garbage disposal. The kitchen is NOT fully equipped. Just to give the reader an idea, there are just 5 dinner plates, 4 salad plates and 2 mismatched wine glasses. However, the coup de grâce - the dishwasher broke twice. It did not work for 1/2 of our stay. Evidently it had stopped working for a previous tenant too. This is the worst review I have ever written.

Review of Avon condo
We had an enjoyable stay in this property for a ski weekend. We had 3 adults in our group. The pictures on the listing accurately show the property. We found the beds to be comfortable. The showers were nice, look like they may have been remodeled somewhat recently, and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. As the picture of the living room shows, there is only a single couch in this room, which seats only 3 people. If there were more adults who all wanted to be comfortable together at the end of the day, others would have to sit at the small kitchen table (not exactly lounge comfort). We found two inaccuracies about the listing. The listing indicated one bedroom has a king size bed and this is inaccurate - both bedrooms have queen size beds. The listing indicates there is a Keurig coffee machine and there is not. There is a standard coffee maker. The location is good. We chose to walk to the Westin to ride the riverfront gondola express on our first day. It's a 20 minute walk. Scenic path along the river. The other days we chose to drive our car two minutes over to the Bear parking lot and pay the $13 parking fee. Catching the bus is very easy and convenient at the parking lots. The host was responsive. If you are looking for a decent location with comfortable beds and decent bathrooms, this is a good option.

This property is in a great location. Close to all things in Avon and minutes to the Bear parking lot and local bus stop. Unit is very clean and nicely appointed. Jobi is quick to respond to request and issues that we had. This property will be nice for summer and fall because of the beautiful views and walking trail along river.

Beaver Creek and Vail mountains are some of the best in the world! The views are majestic and the villages are what fairy tales are made of in the winter months! The ice rink with the big outdoor fireplace is one of my favorite spots in the winter.

Unit E309 is a top floor unit where you can expect quiet and relaxation. No noise from upstairs as you try to sleep in during your stay. The unit is also at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain so you are close to what you likely came for.....outdoor activities.
