Getting Around:
Uber and Lyft available in the area but having a vehicle is highly recommended. There is 1 dedicated parking spot in front of the house.
Other Things to Note:
Our private guesthouse is attached to the main house with a completely separate entrance, parking area, and thermostat to control the central AC. We would just like to emphasize that although there is a fridge, microwave, toaster, Keurig, and more, the space does not have a kitchen or other facilities for cooking (no hot plates or grill). Washer/dryer are not available in the unit but there is a laundromat 3 minutes away.
🗑 Trash days are Tuesdays for both normal trash and recycle, if your stay falls that day we'd really appreciate if you could pull the bin to the curb
❕Double-check closets and grab all your things before heading out. Forgot something? We’re happy to help return it for a $30 handling fee plus shipping.
🔔 Please keep in mind that to confirm your reservation you will be required to fill out a Guest App, where you will have to upload a valid phone number and email so we can make sure to better cater to your stay. We will give you access to the form immediately after booking, and you will find all your booking information there (check in/out info, early check in / late check out options, local guide, property details, etc.)
Cancellation Fees:
All cancelled reservations are subject to a 4% fee, even if cancelled within the free-cancellation period. During the free-cancellation period, your total refund will be 96% of the original booking amount—no exceptions. If canceling outside the free cancellation period, normal cancellation penalties will apply.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It’s on a quiet street and gave me a restful sleep. I had everything I needed and was greeted by Maria who lives next door. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay in the area.

Wonderful space
The property is so clean, spacious, well decorated, and convenient to downtown. The bed was comfortable and the tenants in the adjoining duplex were so quiet you wouldn't even know someone was there!

Bright, modern, small apartment. More spacious and quieter than hotel or motels in the area. I stayed there for four nights while doing a diving course. It was very convenient to be walking distance to the restaurants on Main St.

Lovely apartment
The apartment was very nice and comfortable for our stay. The owner clearly communicated and check in and out was super easy. We went to Mill Creek Farm the retirement home for horses which was so wonderful and I highly recommend. We also really enjoyed a brewery and winery near by (about 10 min drive) Daft Cow and Beaker. The coffee shop I'd recommend is Doxa (about a 5 min drive). Downtown Alachua itself was a little disappointing. It's unfortunate that there aren't more shops and restaurants there as this is a great location with walking proximity to downtown. Hopefully it gets a revival and we'd come back! Thank you again for a great stay though in the apartment. It was cozy and had so many things included (cups, filtered eater, coffee cups, creamer, paper plates, paper towels, silverwear, etc) that was very helpful during our stay.
