Uniquely styled hotel wing inside the fully remodeled Historic Hotel Hartington downtown! Guests will have a 3 bedrooms along with 2 bathrooms in their Hollywood Suite wing. There is 1 additional bedroom in the wing to rent upon inquiry if needed. The extra bedroom will not be rented to any other guests outside of your party/reservation and your wing is locked for your security/privacy. You will have a large living room area with big screen TV with Hulu Live and voice activated Alexa. There is a Keurig machine with coffee pods, microwave, and mini fridge. We ask you don't take extra amenities with you after check out. We try to give excessive amenities to our guests in hopes they respect the space.
Your bedrooms, bathrooms, and large living area are all in its own secluded wing of the hotel that has a keypad code to enter and locks behind you. The bathrooms are across from the bedroom to utilize and no other guests at the hotel outside your reservation have access to your wing.
The hotel was built in 1916 and there is no elevator up to the lodging areas and requires to walk up 2 flights of stairs. There is no elevator in the building due to its historic age.

Family Get Away
The property was amazing. Everyone loved the vibe and charm of the guest rooms and sitting area. The staff was great to work and communicate with. We will definitely stay there again when we return to the area.

Beautifully restored hotel in downtown Hartington
Wow, the restored hotel is fantastic. My wife and I stayed on the 3rd floor in the master suite in mid April and had a blast. Quiet, classy and clean. The views of the town and surrounding area are great and the Veterans Memorial across the street is second to none. Can’t go wrong here!

Beautiful historic hotel
The property is a beautifully restored hotel consisting of four levels. However, it is not ADA compliant which I believe should be listed on the information of the property.
Upon arrival, three disabled veterans had to navigate the staircase to the third floor from the lobby. This was not an enjoyable venture.
When we entered the third floor the temperature was sweltering, I found the thermostat set at 73. I lowered the hallway thermostat to 69 which was as low as it would go. We had opened our room doors to help in decreasing the stifling temperatures.
Other than the above items we found the hotel to be very comfortable. The restrooms were huge and provided every toiletry need.
We found a quaint bar and grill one block from the hotel. Upon entering we found they only served drinks and tombstone pizzas.
We met some of the nicest locals in the establishment and were accepted into their community which flooded our memories of the small town USA we grew up in.
A point of major interest is the Veterans Memorial across from the hotel. It was wonderfully done and masterfully healing.
We would definitely stay again if stairs were not an issue and rooms had independent AC controls.
