The home is an older beach property, which is part of the character of the area, and the bedrooms do have a form of heat provided for guest comfort. The bathtub drain issue was handled promptly during the stay to make sure everything was working as it should. Thank you so much for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear about the issue you experienced with the smoke alarm during your stay. I wanted to let you know that the smoke detector is fairly new, manufactured in 2022, and equipped with a sealed lithium battery that has a 10-year lifespan. It has only been in use for a couple of years and was recently checked by one of my team members, who confirmed that the device is in excellent condition, as indicated by the flashing light every 45 seconds. In cases like this, the alarm may have been triggered by the smoke produced while cooking certain dishes. That being said, the smoke alarm is a crucial part of the safety measures in place to ensure the well-being of all our guests. Your comfort and safety are always our top priority, and I truly appreciate your understanding.
