Esta casa de dos dormitorios con vistas Round Lake de la Cadena de Pike Lake. La vista desde la casa de campo se dejará sin aliento! La cadena de cuatro lago tiene más de 2,000 acres de agua, que ofrecen grandes oportunidades de pesca, natación y canotaje. Se encuentra a una milla y media desde el bosque Nacional Chequamegon-Nicolet, que tiene millas y millas de senderismo y senderos de ATV. Minocqua está a sólo 20 minutos en coche.

El interior es todo de madera de pino. Dispone de 2 dormitorios, una cocina recién remodelada, comedor, sala de estar con chimenea de pie de gas, un baño nuevo y un nuevo porche con mesa de desayuno y una gran terraza. Se puede acomodar a cinco. 14 'bote de remos está incluido en el alquiler. Dos kayaks se almacenan en la cabaña y se proporcionan sin costo para nuestros huéspedes a disfrutar.

La casa fue completamente renovado y ampliado en 2012, con un nuevo cuarto de baño más grande con los nuevos accesorios, así como una sala de estar grande, comedor y dormitorios. Un nuevo porche de la pantalla, las nuevas ventanas de la fachada más grande y un nuevo techo también fueron parte de la adición 2012. La cocina estaba totalmente renovado en el 2010, incluyendo nuevos gabinetes y electrodomésticos. La huella de la cabina se incrementó en aproximadamente un 20% en 2012.

La casa es uno de los nueve que forman parte del Ganso Salvaje Resort. Ganso Salvaje es limpio y ordenado, y está bien mantenido. El gerente de mantenimiento de la propiedad vive justo al final de la calle. El "Ganso" es verdaderamente un "secreto bien guardado" y ha estado en funcionamiento durante muchos años.

Great place!

Enjoyed a weekend retreat at the Loon Cabin. Great place, amazing lake views, huge pier! An all around great place, and the deer are reasonably tame. Local places to eat (3 or 4), without having to drive more than 5 mins away, all have amazing food!

The Loon Cabin

Stayed there for 3 nights. The Kitchen was very well equipped. Loved the view. Great location. Alot of nice hiking trails nearby. I would stay there again!

Great place! Ours was a short stay but we felt right at home here. Cabin was spacious and great view o f lake. Wish the weather was a little more cooperative but still had a great time.

Cozy cabin on beautiful lake

We visit Round Lake annually with our family. We love the cabins at Wild Goose, but our favorite is Loon. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, and the kitchen is well appointed. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning next year!

Property was as shown. Only thing that disappointed was the weather. Rained for 4 days and no television in cabin and internet was spotty. Also could not get oven to work so used microwave to heat everything.

The Loon at Wild Goose Resort

We stayed at this nice, cute cabin on Round Lake on the 14-18 of September 2021. It is very clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. We would highly recommend it. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Weekend hunting trip

A buddy and I spent a couple days chasing grouse in northern Wisconsin. This cabin offered a convenient headquarters for our daily hunts. We met some other hunters staying nearby; there were also fisherman getting in some late season fishing. Overall, it was a wonderfully quaint northern Wisconsin cabin, and we enjoyed it.

Awesome experience at Loon Cabin

We had such a great time at the Loon Cabin! It had everything we could have possibly wanted. The little stove kept it so cozy and warm. My husband went fishing on the pier and also took a canoe out. He did not catch any fish but had a great time! We will be staying there again next year!

Great Place

Perfect Northwoods experience at this place. We loved the lake view! Paul is very responsive. If you arrive at night like we did, you’ll need to use your headlights to find the cabin with the sign that says “loon”, took us a couple go-arounds to find the right one! Thanks for having us, Paul!

nice cabin at Wild Goose Resort

We had a great stay here. There is a community fire pit just behind the cabin that nobody else showed interest in while we were there, so we took advantage. The docks are just down the hill in front of the cabin. Everything was as expected. The host had excellent communication even though he had some family obligations to take care of at the same time. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Loon Cabin Love

Spectacular view of the lake from the living room, kitchen and porches! Loved the quiet resort and this cute cabin holding all of the up north amenities one could want. Kayaks, row boats, small beach, piers with benches, playground equipment, fire pit and a charcoal grill outside... books, games, kitchen supplies and cozy furniture inside. Not having TV in the cabin was a perfect reason to better connect as a family! Wild Goose Resort is now on our bucket list for return stays every year. Highly recommend.

Great vacation

We had a nice week staying at this cabin. It was very clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. The VBRO listing states that there are 2 double beds but actually one of the bedrooms has 2 twins, which was great. Area was quiet. Excellent ATV trails. Fishing was pretty slow while we were there. Nice beach area. Only thing I would’ve changed is having a queen size bed in one bedroom. Also, the double bed was super squeaky. But, all in all we had a wonderful week!!

Quiet Retreat

Perfect little cabin, it has everything you need to be comfortable. The kayaks are a huge plus even tho i didn’t get to use them due to weather. The only thing I would change is adding the name of the cabin into the introduction message or something like that, i did 3 or 4 laps around looking at the numbers before giving Paul a ring. He was quick to call back after leaving a message and got it figured out. Overall 5 stars, thank you for letting me use your place.

Fishing Trip w/ The Guys

Memorial Weekend fishing trip with the guys. The weather wasn’t perfect, but ‘tis the season. We still caught a bunch of nice crappie, smallies, northern and walleye. We love this chain and have been staying on it the past 3 years. First time at the Wild Goose Resort. Paul was awesome to work with and the Loon cabin was perfect. My nephew also appreciated the kayaks…he was out kayak fishing from sun up to sun down. Just like many reviews suggested, the pics on the site don’t do it justice. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks again!

WI northwoods gem

Such a great little cottage in a Wisconsin resort setting. It took me back to family vacations "up north". My husband loves to fish and this location offered some great conveniences. The pulbic boat landing is right next to the resort, plenty of pier space for your boat, and a fish cleaning house with electricity. The cabin was clean, but with Covid 19 and for my own peace of mind, I did my own wipe down too. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, bowls, table settings, utensils and a very nice gas stove. Decorated tastefully in the rustic northen Wisconsin tradition, comfy furniture and a gas fireplace made the place warm and cozy. Fishing was OK, had a few meals and took some home. Oh yeah, don't forget a beautiful view of the lake and sunsets out your window every night. Paul was great to work with. Hope to go back again.

We bought on the Pike Lake Chain because there is over 2,000 acres of water. The cabin (The Loon) is on Round Lake. Round Lake is awesome. Approximately 65% of Round lake is surrounded by the Chequamegon National Forest - 65% natural shoreline-- no homes, very quiet.

We wanted to be on a lake that is a little off the beaten path. Minocqua is nice, but it is a bit touristy. The Pike Lake Chain is quieter than the lakes that are either in or real close to Minocqua. We get the best of both worlds, because we are located on the quieter, less populated, Pike Lake Chain. However, The Pike Lake Chain is only a short 20 - 25 minute drive to Minocqua.

We also enjoy being within walking distance to the hiking trails, located in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest - The trails circumvent Round Lake and are only 1/2 mile from the Cabin.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Being part of the Wild Goose Resort is great because you get the benefits that the resort offers. A private beach, camp fire pit, boat launch next door, pier for your boat.

The private beach is about 200 feet from the cabin. The boat lunch is next door, approximately 1000 feet from the cabin. Great for small children. You can access WIFI from the cabin.

There are 4 -5 bar/restaurants located within 3 miles from the Resort.
