Rustic Cabin A Tad Off The Black River!

A tad off the road is a small very rustic campground with plenty of room to relax with the whole family or a few friends! It is conveniently located on a small stretch of the Black River just outside of Carthage NY. If you love being near the water, fishing, boating, four wheeling, or just want a relaxing getaway, this is for you! The space:
You will be staying in a rustic 10X16 cabin with a set of bunk beds and a queen size fold out cabinet bed. There is a 4ft bar table that folds down inside for dinning. Please bring your own linens (pillows, sheets, blankets). We place covers on all mattresses that are disinfected before your stay. There is a clock, fan and extension cord for electricity. There is a bathhouse across the camp you can use but does not provide drinkable water. Toilet paper, hand soap, and hand sanitizer is provided.. You will have your own small firepit with a small bundle of wood. You are encouraged to bring more of your own if you plan on having a few days of fire. Keep in mind this is a campground so the owners and other renters may be staying there or using it for the day. There is an option to rent a space to have your boat docked there for a $10 a day fee. Guests will have access to all of the campground besides locked buildings and lean too. Gazebo, Bathhouse and your cabin is all yours! This is a carry in carry out campground. Please take your garbage home with you. Please have your children wear life jackets by the river and on the dock. We are still under construction to make the camp even better next year so please ignore our mess while driving in! Our place is your place, we are a super laid-back campground.
