We had a wonderful time, room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed, would definitely rent this again me my husband and two children ages 3,5! Big thank you to the staff at Alisha Hollis office. They were so helpful will definitely be back.

Labor Day get away

Condo was as described inside. it was a bit further from the beach than I expected and didn't have a beach view. The one thing i would say could use improvement is the mattress. It has a huge sag in the middle.

Beautiful condo

The pictures don't do this condo justice! The furniture was beautiful. Everything was cleaned to perfection! Well stocked with plenty of dinnerware, plates, glasses, and utensils. Plenty of pots, pans, tupperware, and pantry items. The decor was not overly beachy, just right. Curtains to block out early morning light if you are not an early riser. About a 5 minute walk to the pool and beach. The patio was decorated as nice as the inside, for relaxing. It was very quiet on this end of the beach. The recliners were nice to have, as my husband usually sleeps in one because of shoulder problems. You will not regret staying in this beautiful condo!

Good First Time Condo Experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was beautifully furnished and overall clean. We didn't take advantage of all the extras, like the sauna and hot tub, but the beach access was awesome. We did have a few issues with "palmetto bugs" . In Tennessee we call them big roaches. Also there appeared to be mold around the vent in the bathroom. The a/c unit was very noisy inside and out (a design issue that cannot be fixed) and made sitting on the patio unpleasant. Couldn't even hear the surf 100 yards away. Even though the condo was overall nice, we will probably shop around for a different unit next time. Also, couch frame was broke, the recliner almost impossible to return to closed position and the vertical blinds in the living room area was broken. The noisy a/c was my biggest issue, keeping me awake a lot.

Updated, Clean and great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in was very easy - Alicia Hollis office was easy to pull into and to get out of. Same for easy check out -take trash out, lock up and just dropped the keys into the dropbox. The staff was so nice and welcoming. Location is in Building 2 - very easy walk with your chair and beach bag to the beach Or you could use the beach service.The unit is updated and was very clean- no mold in the shower. The couch needs to be updated- would be my only suggestion.Kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of pans, cutlery, dishes. Remember to bring -papertowels, soft toilet paper, dishwasher soap if you plan on cooking alot at the condo, other wise they provide toilet paper(a little rough), two dishwasher tabs.Trash is at the end of the building- u have to lift the garage door to get to the dumpster. Was not labeled so a little difficult to locate.The beach is so soft with white sands - the view looking toward the Air Force land is the best, untouched view. Do not walk on the Air Force land - the warnings are real, 4 people got tickets while I was there $95 a person. It doesn't matter if you are walking in the surf, waterline or beach - you will get a ticket. New commander in charge and he is a stickler for the rules. Enjoyed our Mother's Day stay very much!

Family Vacation 2022

This was the 1st year for my grandson. (9 mo) He LOVED the white sand and clear beach water. We have stayed in many units over the years and 215 was one of the best! It was very clean and cozy. My son stayed in building 4 on a top floor. We hung out on our porch and the baby had a great time playing in the grass. I will definitely request this unit again!!

Only complaint was the floors were not very clean. The first night there after walking around barefoot, we had black feet just from inside. Also owner might leave instructions on how to operate television and a guide to access quickly would be helpful .

We always use Alicia Hollis realtor for our rental needs. They provide great, thorough, friendly service and Chris Ault always remembers us! EM 215 is a great unit, updated, clean, and the owners provide beach service...an added bonus! Our ONLY issue was the water pressure in the shower, very light. Everything else was great! Our week was perfect and we can’t wait to go back!

Gnat Infestation

We stayed in one of the units and were INUNDATED with gnats for the entire week! When we phoned the realty company to complain they said that gnats were very common place in Florida and even commented that they had them flying around in their office. We knew other families staying on the complex at El Matador that didn’t have this problem. They told us they could come in and fumigate but I wasn’t a fan of fumigating and then having to go back in. They continued to point the problem at us questioning whether or not we had bananas and insisting we must have left a door open. No to both! They brought us long yellow sticky traps to hang in an attempt to kill as many gnats as we could. However, the gnat infestation grew worse and were landing on our faces at night in our bedroom/living room as we were trying to sleep. I had to quit using their kitchen due to the amount of gnats...even flew out of the coffee maker when it was opened! So unappetizing to see the gnats stuck to the traps in the kitchen...hence the reason we were unable to use it. We ended up having to purchase Raid because there were so many gnats crawling everywhere; the kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom. Even in the shower!! I have video and pictures of the hundreds of gnats that we killed every night but management did not care. We are sure they will still not take accountability even after this is posted but we felt really bad for the people coming in after us. It was very stressful and unsettling. We called several times through the week and when we called the day we left to try to talk to them about the obvious problem they had in this condo there was little or no empathy on their part. We have vacationed in Florida so many times and have never had this issue. It’s a shame that we purchased a condo for a week and couldn’t even relax there. We would never recommend this company to bail a vacation for us and will not be back to this particular destination.
