Nice place. Great host.

My mother stayed here for two weeks while having some work done to her own home. The cottage was lovely. Great location, very safe and welcoming. We look forward to staying again when having guests in town in the future.

Even better than it looks online!

Charming, modern and homey at the same time. An easy walk to Old Lose Gatos and the trail that runs through it but feels like you’re off in the foothills when you’re at home. Owner is available as much as you’d like her to be, respectful of your privacy when not needed. A great stay!

What an a amazing Stay

A quiet, quaint, cozy place to stay that is walking distance from downtown Los Gatos. Teresa was such a great host and communicated very well. I would definitely stay here again!!!!

The Most Memorable Experience

Teresa is a fabulous hostess. Her instructions were very detailed, and her responsiveness was always timely. Her place is beautiful. We booked the place to give us an idea of what it would be like to live in Los Gatos. The experience was not a disappointment; we have so many wonderful memories and the surroundings added to the amazing time we had there. She checked in on us via text to see how we were doing and if we needed anything - so incredibly thoughtful. It was the right balance of privacy, never intrusive. I highly recommend this place, it's a beautiful get-away that is close to downtown Los Gatos.

Bungalow in nature!

We are local Los Gatos residents and had to be out of our home for reconstruction. Theresa's place was a wonderful find! It supplied everything, along with a really beautiful setting. It was very peaceful, and we slept well. Walked to dinner most often, and really enjoyed the convenient location. Thanks, Theresa! Jeannie & Les

Weekend retreat

We stayed in the little cottage, which was quite well appointed (needs a grill for the toaster oven), quiet and well kept; and almost big enough in which to change your mind. It was perfect for a short stay, spent mostly with our kids and grandkids in the area. When we come back for a longer stay, will look into the larger cottage. Teresa was very kind and helpful. Good location. We recommend Lou's Coffee Shop on Los Gatos Blvd for breakfast; great food, good service and no spandex! required.

Perfect getaway in Los Gatos

My husband and I stayed in the larger cottage. It was perfect for the two of us. It was spacious enough for us and was very open with kitchen area. The area is very quiet with only a short walk to downtown which we did regularly. We loved the outdoor patio for coffee and wine. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. The host was very friendly and was very responsive to our needs. We were even greeted by a couple of small deer when we arrived late at night.That was very special. I would definitely recommend this location and we loved exploring Los Gstos.

Teresa was wonderful to talk to and the cottage is such a great deal for Los Gatos. I enjoyed my quiet stay and loved being within walking distance of everything.

Great place to stay in Los Gatos!

We had a wonderful time in this relaxing piece of Los Gatos heaven! The cottage is not only charming, but very clean, well equipped, and has the most comfortable bed. It is in a great location near shopping and good restaurants. The setting is so beautiful and surrounded by numerous trees…it is definitely set apart from the usual generic vacation rental. The owner is very friendly and easy to work with. We are hoping to stay here when we return next year.

Los Gatos Cottage

Delightful , picturesque woodsy setting- 5 min.walk to stores and main road to shops, restaurants ,park and library. Cottage small but well equipped, clean. Murphy bed - very comfortable. Outside bistro seating under trees . Owner was very responsive to needs. I am a 79 yr old widow visiting family in the next town.

Great Location... Easy Walk to Downtown... Helpful Owner

We came to this charming town to visit our son for the holidays. This cottage is in a quiet neighborhood and convenient to everything we needed...restaurants, supermarkets, sightseeing, etc. The cabin is small, and it has a Murphy bed. What it lacks in space, it makes up in charm. It has a cute kitchen area and a very nice bathroom. The outdoor space is lovely and picturesque. The owner was very helpful both prior to our arrival and during our stay when we had a problem with the TV. She fixed it immediately. Would I return? Absolutely!

Hidden jewel of the Silicon Valley

Visiting friends? Staying over a weekend for business and you'd like to escape the crazy traffic and crowd? This is the place for you. Perfect location, not half a mile away from the main Los Gatos drag, yet hidden under a canopy of trees, with a local deer herd which will come to say hi at dinnertime. What is there not to love? Granted, it's not that spacious, but it totally makes up in charm, with the fully equipped kitchen, the spotless marble-floor bathroom. In the summer months, it's warm enough to eat all your meals outside, on the provided garden furniture. Walking distance to restaurants, and it's a short drive to Whole Foods. Recommended to: single people, couples on a romantic getaway, and definitely cyclists: I belong to the two-eheel tribe, and I very much enjoyed being so close to some of the best rides in the area, Los Gatos Creek Trail, Kennedy to Hicks Road, and the Old Santa Cruz Highway are all accessible riding out of the front gate, and this cottage provides a cool place to come back to, take a relaxing shower, kick back and cook excessive quantities of pasta!

Mother/daughter vacation

I recently stayed at the cottage for twelve days with my daughter who attends college nearby. It was the perfect place for a relaxing vacation, and it was close to many activities as well. The cottage was clean and very comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom and kitchen areas were great as well. We especially enjoyed walking to downtown Los Gatos to shop and to eat at various restaurants and cafes, and we particularly enjoyed the Fiesta de Artes which just happened to be taking place while we were there. We also attended an outdoor performance of Hamlet at Shakespeare in the Park which was fantastic! In addition, we went to free, live performances, Jazz on the Plazz and Music in the Park, both of which were wonderful. Nearby the cottage is the Los Gatos Creek Trail which we hiked on a number of times, and we drove to the beach at Santa Cruz for a day which is only a 30 minute drive. While we were definitely active, we also relaxed at the cottage, and that is so easy to do because it is located in a quiet, beautiful, wooded setting. I would highly recommend renting this location; it is much cheaper than a hotel room and you get so much privacy and peace. Terrific vacation!

Great Cottage

Stayed 10 nights visiting our son. Great cottage for 2 people. Had son from Palto Alto stay a few nights, tight, but do able for 3. BBQ and off street parking for 2 cars was great. Secluded in foothills, but close enough to walk to Los Gatos. Bathroom was great, and murphy bed was acutally very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed but a oven, which we didn't need anyway. Loved the outside patio (bbq) and tables for evening wine or morning coffee. Had deer one morning off the patio and lots of birds. Very reasonable and close enough to hit San Fran, Big Sur, Monterey and Santa Cuze or Napa Valley. They are renovating a garage on the property which will be another and larger option. Nice place. If your looking for something economical but nice with privacy, secure parking and within driving distance to a lot of places in the bay area, this is hard to beat!

Quiet, peaceful, updated, warm.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the two months we got to spend in Teresa's cottage. The location is perfect and really makes you feel like your miles away from the busy city but you're actually only a short walk away from all Los Gatos has to offer. The cottage itself was great and stocked with everything you would need for a short or long term stay. Teresa was also a breeze to work with and made everything very simple. I couldn't recommend her or her cottage more, and hope to return if we're ever in the area again!

Peaceful Garden Cottage

What a lovely little garden cottage. This was the perfect size for 2. Inside is light, bright and airy, and the courtyard outside was a perfect setting for our morning coffee. We walked to local restaurants and enjoyed walking around downtown Los Gatos. This cottage is close enough to San Jose, but tucked into the mountainside so it was peaceful and relaxing. Fully stocked kitchen made meal prep a breeze. Can't wait to come back next year!
