It's time to scoot on in to "Scooter" Bears Den. Featuring two master suites, located only minutes from all the great restaurants, Broken Bow lake and Beavers Bend State Park. Beautiful location with paved roads.

In the southeast corner Oklahoma, north of Broken Bow, you’ll find a little slice of heaven in McCurtain County among the majestic pine trees of the Ouachita Forest.

The luxury rental cabins found in the Beaver’s Bend and Hochatown area are surrounded by beautiful scenery and a wide variety of outdoor activities to enjoy during your vacation.

"Scooter" Bears Den features 2 master suites, both have king beds with bath, bath features walk in tile showers and truly unique soaking tubs. The living area host a large seating area for everyone with large floor to ceiling windows which allow great wooded views and views to the stunning back deck. Cozy up by the fireplace for movie night. The kitchen has everything you will need for a weekend stay or even an extended stay. The open floor plan allows for everyone to visit from all parts of the main house. Seating for 6 at the large dining table for gatherings a round of cards. Once outside you will find a large deck hosting the hot tub, grill outdoor games, seating area with tv and fireplace. On the grounds you will have a great time with the custom fire pit, while the children play on the swing set.

***Some Cabins are pet friendly with prior approval***
With this being said in order to bring a pet you must contact us directly, we will then approve or disapprove. This is due to pet owners taking advantage of an open pet policy. Our pet guideline include
-No pets over 25 lbs (Limit 1 pet)
-No pets on furniture or bedding (This will result in an added cleaning fee)
-You must pick up your dogs waste (we don't want to smell it or step in it)
-Fees apply to bring your pet (Mandatory cleaning fee as well as a deposit)

We really enjoyed having two master suites and the spacious back porch with great views! Everything about the cabin surpassed expectations. The only recommendation I have is to be sure and pack a blow dryer!

Great Cabin

Beautiful, clean cabin, well stocked but could have used a few extra items (full size shampoo/conditioner/body wash (like hotel))…the tiny shower items provided only enough for 1 person 1 shower. We hiked, swam at lakes, cooked, enjoyed hot tub/patio & local eatery!!We will be back to Beavers Bend!!

House is beautifully decorated. Beds were comfortable. Back patio had a nice sitting area as well as large hot tub. We had a girls trip and this was perfect for us 4.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was just perfect for us. Clean and comfortable. It was close to the marina. There was a lot to do in Hocatown and the people were so nice. We would love to come back. Thanls for a wonderful experience!!!!

Great cabin!

We loved Scooter Bears Den! It looks exactly as pictured. We very much enjoyed the back patio layout and the gas fireplaces both inside and outside. Loved being surrounded by the trees and having ample space between cabins to play outside and still have some privacy. Would absolutely stay there again. My only recommendation would be to have some plastic cups/bowls/plates in the kitchen, was a little nervous to have my kids only using breakable dishes.

First time in Broken Bow

We didn't know what to expect in Broken Bow, as we had never been there, and did some light research. We had several friends recommend it, and after booking, visiting Scooter Bear's Den, and arriving in the area, we were pleased with everything! The location, the stay, the space, the amenities (for us), and our little family, including a dog, were amazing. Open and spacious, tons of room, beds were comfy, the bathrooms were nice and had adequate space as well. The hot tub was used a lot after hiking, the AC worked very well, and bedtime was comfortable. The kids loved it, the dog loved it, and we as parents just letting the kids go be free and play was nice and relaxing. We highly recommend this stay; it was perfect, clean, fresh-smelling, and just overall welcoming. Thank you!

Our stay at the cabin was both enjoyable and comfortable. The cabin provided everything we needed for our five day spring break fly fishing vacation. After a long day fishing on the river, it was nice to come home to a cozy fireplace and a hot tub to rest our bodies. The owner was very quick to respond when I had a question. The neighborhood is quiet, and close to yummy food and entertainment. 10/10 :)
