La cabaña Meek's Hill en Marble, Colorado, se encuentra a una altitud de 8000 pies en medio de pinos frescos y altísimos, con vistas de picos de 13,000 pies. Los ciervos frecuentemente deambulan por la propiedad y los osos incluso han llegado a llamar a la puerta. Los colibríes luchadores compiten por su porción de néctar del comedero. ¡La naturaleza está literalmente en tu puerta! Como no hay contaminación lumínica en esta pequeña comunidad, ¡los cielos estrellados te sorprenderán! Además de esto, tiene todas las comodidades de un condominio de lujo. Nuestra cabina es de fácil acceso pero lejos de trenes, aviones y autopistas. La tracción a las cuatro ruedas no es necesaria.

Marble, una comunidad muy pequeña, es una excelente ubicación central para explorar los hermosos lugares del oeste de Colorado. Dentro de un viaje de dos horas puede visitar los huertos y viñedos de Paonia, el impresionante Cañón Negro del río Gunnison, el Monumento Nacional de Colorado en Grand Junction, el valle del río Roaring Fork y Aspen, el Paso de la Independencia y el desierto de Snowmass. Lo mejor de todo, nuestro propio Crystal River Valley.

Si está buscando el lugar perfecto para experimentar la naturaleza en su máxima expresión, ¡Meek's Hill Cabin ES el lugar perfecto! Lo sentimos, no podemos acomodar bicicletas de tierra o vehículos todo terreno. Estamos cerrados por la temporada de caza.

Lovely Home

Staying at the Meek’s Hill Cabin was one of our favorite stays. Home provided a secluded location with everything we needed for a relaxed stay. The bed was so comfortable and the linens were very very nice. We definitely hope to return

Absolutely gorgeous cabin in a centrally located area of Marble,CO. Near a wonderful BBQ restaurant and historic marble quarry. Beautiful views of White House mountain from the deck and nicely appointed with all the necessary details covered. Wonderful linens, towels, soaps and shampoo selection. Dog friendly with a nice fenced in area at the back of the cabin. We will absolutely be back! The hosts are amazing!

Wonderful get-away!

Tom and Kay, our hosts, have created a lovely spot to unplug and soak in the beautiful view and the silence of the valley. Sitting on the deck in the evening was a delight. They have thoughtfully furnished their cabin with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable with quality linens and lots of pillows. The kitchen was well stocked. We particularly appreciated their friendliness and their suggestions of places to go and things to do! Helped to make our mini-vacation just what we needed.

Wonderful Cabin

We absolutely love this cabin! It was our 2nd visit, and we enjoyed it even more than the first time. Marble is a beautiful little town and is like Old Colorado. If you like getting away from everything, you’ll love this place!

Perfect!

My husband and I stayed here while our daughter attended Treasure Mountain Bible Camp. It was quiet, peaceful, and the perfect place to get a respite from a very busy summer. The house is clean and very comfortable. We came prepared with a load of groceries and had all the cooking utensils we needed. Would definitely recommend! Thank you so much Tom and Kay for sharing this wonderful spot!

Amazing! We Will Be Back!

My husband and I wanted to get out of the city and away from the heat. This cabin, the owners and the entire community and experience was above and beyond our expectations. This property is only something to behold in person. That to say that the pictures do not do it justice. We are already talking about our return trip next summer.

Beauty and tranquility

This beautiful home in the mountains was way more than we expected!! Marble is such a beautiful little town! Our hosts were so helpful in things to do around the area and attentive to every little detail in the house. The deck overlooking the mountain was our favorite spot to be. If you like to hike there are so many beautiful trails around Marble and surrounding towns. We definitely will be back again.

Marble Relaxation

Great cabin very well appointed with all accessories needed for a nice stay. Private, quiet and of course close to everything in Marble. Nice restaurant in town and great hikes and drives nearby. Great hosts with good suggestions for hiking and activities nearby. Definitely will plan to stay again.

The cabin was exquisite. Well stocked, comfy, and a beautiful deck complete with flowers and a marvelous view. A serene home away from home! Tom and Kay are welcoming, dog-friendly and delightful hosts. Definitely a place on our list of “must go to again”.

We travel extensively and were totally pleased with our visit here. The view is exceptional, the cabin is spotless and surrounded by lovely flowers and hummingbirds, and the interior makes you feel like you are at home with beautiful decor and comfy furniture. The cabin is fully equipped with luxury linens and everything you need to prepare meals. The hosts are attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about Marble and the surrounding area. Our week flew by and we enjoyed every moment.

Meek’s Hill Cabin

Enjoyed every minute of our stay! Tom and Kay are amazing and have really provided a perfect little place for anyone looking to spend some quality quiet time away from the noise most of us experience far too much. I really can’t say enough other than keep this area what it is. It is a clean and quiet community. It is not a place to be obnoxious or be noisy. There are many other places that cater to that!

The perfect getaway.

Meeks Hill Cabin By far one of the best adventures I’ve had since I was a little girl wondering off the grid in Mexico. Dirt roads, no cell phones, and just endless adventures. The fall trees were absolutely beautiful, and the sea of mountains seemed as if you were looking at a painting. I came for solitude, and this place delivered. It felt like home and I can not wait to be back.

Great Experience

This rental home was terrific. It offers a beautiful mountain view and a fenced backyard that is an exploratory delight for dogs. The furnishings and bed were comfortable and we had all we needed and more regarding kitchenware. It is uncommon for us to revisit vacation destinations but we are interested in returning here for a longer stay. The hosts were ideal -- attentive, responsive and knowledgable about the area's offerings.

Cute cabin in the mountains

Great location to experience all that Marble has to offer. Tom and Kay are in another house on the property and are a wealth of knowledge on the area. The cabin is clean comfortable and has everything you need for a fun stay. Private with a great view and abundant wildlife including deer Fox and frequent visits from a black bear.

Breathtaking and Beautiful

If you are looking for a place to get away and see nature, this is the place. The cabin is beautiful surrounded by mountains. The location is in the little town of Marble Colorado complete with a great BBQ restaurant and a short walk to the Crystal River. Bring food to cook as it's a way to a grocery store. Pet friendly is a plus.

Our love of Marble and the area around it goes back to the 1980's when we purchased our first property here. At the time, we believed this was the perfect getaway from our busy Denver lives. We have enjoyed our travels to Europe, South America, Mexico and throughout the U.S., but still appreciate Marble's beautiful and unique setting. Tom's career as an enrollment management consultant has taken him to colleges and universities across the country. Kay enjoyed a career as an elementary teacher. We now call Tucson 'home', but spend summers in Marble working in the gardens, playing with our two small dogs, reading and enjoying the great outdoors. We also enjoy hosting family gatherings at our Marble home.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

After moving to Denver in the mid-1980's we bought a pop-up camper and set out with our young son to explore Colorado on weekend camping trips. Eventually, we discovered the Crystal River valley and Marble. We sold the camper, built our home and have never regretted it. The Crystal River valley is some of the the most beautiful, pristine country you will ever see. Fly-fishermen love the river. Hikers and horsemen love the trails. The back roads to Crystal City and Lead King Basin are a feast for the senses. Photographers can't get enough of the scenery, wildflowers and wildlife. We love it for the views, fresh air, great water and the occasional bear that wanders through the yard. Marble is special.

One RV camping spot next to the cabin enables friends, parents or in-laws to share your time in Marble. $20.00 camping fee for 2 people per night. Each additional person over age 12 is $5.00. Check out for RV is also 11:00 am. Electric and water, no dump station.
