Savannah Bound is a cozy, ranch style home perfectly located between the festivities of downtown Savannah and the relaxing beaches of Tybee Island. The small community of Thunderbolt features great local restaurants and beautiful river views within walkable distance from the house. Bonaventure cemetery is a quick 5 minute drive away. A 10-20 minute drive or car share ride will have you in the historic district of Savannah or on the beaches of Tybee Island, depending on your mood.
The space
This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom ranch style house is the perfect getaway for a family or group of friends.
Guest access
The house includes 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for your use. There is a locked office for owner storage, but the rest of the house is for you to enjoy. The front porch and back patio are also available for you to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Perfect for our family

The house was nice and the location could not be beat. Bethany was communicative and provided easy instructions to check in and check out. The amenities provided were well thought out for visitors from out of state! Would definitely stay here again!!

Loved our stay! Love the thoughful arrangement of home comforts from frosted beer mugs, to washer pods, etc. Very functional kitchen items, included cabinet full of spices. Love the privacy of the main bedroom (opposite side of the home from the other bedrooms). The home is airy and has a good flow. Clear, responsive communication from host. We normally stay in the middle of Savannah. This is a few minutes from it. Great location to reach everything, then sleep like babies. We'll be back

First Vacay in Savannah

I had an amazing stay at Bethany’s house. The check-in process was seamless, and the host provided clear instructions. She was efficiently responsive and welcoming. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. The beds were super comfy. The location was also perfect — quiet and safe. After a long day at the beach and exploring downtown, winding down in the cozy living area was very relaxing. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for a truly memorable stay!

The perfect place for our getaway!

First of all, the property owners were fantastic...very helpful and communicative. This charming house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms had a great sized kitchen, open area family room/dining room, and was in a very convenient location. We went into Savannah's historic district, to a Savannah Bananas game at Grayson stadium, and Tybee Island...all were easy to get to and driving/parking was great (sometimes we used Lyft which was easy and very reasonable, too). This darling home had a yard where my son & grandson played catch, and rockers on the porch so I could watch. It was roomy and very comfortable to hang out when we weren't off on adventures...we cooked, played games, and watched movies in our down time. We'd definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay

We had a nice stay, though there were a couple of hiccups, the communication and conversation was quickly resolved and we would stay here again. Logan was perfect and the space was great for our blended family. Thank you!

Great for a get away!

The house was centrally located to the places we wanted to visit. It was clean and in a nice neighborhood. The host was very accommodating. Would stay there again.

Family vacation

The house worked out perfectly. Enough room for everyone and the neighborhood was very quiet. Nice walk to the marina and restaurants.

Loved this location in my home town

The house was clean and comfortable. It was also located in the neighborhood in which I grew up. Lots memories came flooding back. The Host was fast to respond to all communication. Would definitely stay there again!

Weekend Getaway

We felt completely comfortable in this clean, well kept home. The owners stayed in touch with us as our arrival was earlier in the day and let us enter early to drop our bags. The beds are comfortable and clean, bathroom showers stocked with essentials, and clean, white linens. The well functioning kitchen was perfect for us to whip up biscuits and sausage gravy and plenty of room in dining room to sit and enjoy. The living room sofa is clean and comfy too and perfect for games the home provided. Front and back porches both have chairs to sit and relax while enjoying listening to all the birds in the trees. Overall a great location to both Savannah and Tybee.

My husband and I are originally from Indiana but just love the Savannah area. We have lived in Thunderbolt since 2016 and been hosting since 2020. We both love music, movies, and traveling as much as possible.

We chose to call Thunderbolt home because of the amazing small town feel, with very easy access to the bustle of downtown Savannah as well as the relaxing beaches of Tybee Island.
