Joe -I am sorry you were not satisfied with the accommodations, The kitchen light was dim - it had a bulb out…it was impossible to change, so we actually installed an entire new fixture that uses an additional bulb to make it brighter. I am sorry you did not locate the three ceiling lights, nor use the light in the fan in the living room (it has a separate function on the remote, and may not have turned on with the fan). The back light is motion operated, and on a switch that must have been accidentally flipped off, as it is beside the switch for the mudroom. Yes, the ground is uneven at the bottom of the front steps. I understand it may have been inconvenient to have my cleaning person get the shed key from inside so she could empty the trash can. I apologized and stated this is the first time we have encountered this situation. Because of this, I chose not to assess an additional cleaning fee for the excessive dog hair on the bed pillows and comforter. We are very accommodating to dogs, but have one rule that they are not to be on the beds. We take great pride in providing an excellent guest experience - I am sorry your expectations were not met.
