Country home near the ATV Trail in Lafayette County

Welcome to our country home on the farm in Darlington, Wisconsin, We are happy to offer our rental called Maple Tree Lane and truly hope that you enjoy the trees, color and wide open spaces as much as we do. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular here and the backyard is spacious. Also you will have access to some fantastic ATV and Snowmobile trails nearby, including the Cheese County Trail.

The Space
You will find a cozy kitchen with updated appliances, a coffee maker and Keurig for you to enjoy a hot cup of coffee and watch the sunrise. If you are not an early riser, then sleep in and enjoy the sunset in the evening. A concrete patio with outdoor seating is located in the front of the home when the weather is warm with a connected carport for protection against the cold. A small deck off of the back of the house allows for you to take in the country colors.

Maple Tree Lane has a master bedroom and two additional bedrooms, one with matching twin beds and one with a full size bed. The house is smoke free and pet free with central air, Aprilaire and gas heat. Parking is available next to the home and includes the carport, single car garage and adjacent driveways.

The home is located within 20 -35 minutes of several tourist towns in Wisconsin such as Shullsburg, Mineral Point, New Glarus and Monroe. Also a short drive to Yellowstone Lake!

We enjoy nature and outdoors, when not using trails we sat on patio and enjoyed the firepit even though it was in the 90's. Sunset was spectacular and area was very peaceful! I cannot think of one negative thing when it comes to the comfort of this home!. Will i ever stay here again??? In a Heartbeat!!

Great place.

The house was spotless clean, easy to get to and on a nice quiet street. Lee and Nita were easy to get in touch with when we had questions and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely check with them again if we go that way.

Farm Retreat

We absolutely loved our weekend stay. The owners had the house well stocked with everything to make for a fun and relaxing time. Communication was easy, thorough and very responsive before and during our trip. Surrounded by cornfields and beautiful sky, this was a unique place, very convenient to Darlington ATV trails and state park. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Farm House

We stayed over the 4th of July weekend. We loved the space! The additional bathroom downstairs was very useful after hot summer days, the towels were SO fluffy! The beds were very comfortable, and the coffee in the morning was greatly appreciated!Nina was so great! She shared local places to see fireworks, which included Mineral Point. If you've never been there, you should definitely check it out! Great fireworks in a town full of history!

Amazing stay

Exceeded our expectations in every way! Super clean, fully stocked, so quiet and peaceful. The sunsets were breathtaking from the back yard. Centrally located, close to Gov Dodge State Park and House on the Rock. Darlington is a fun little town, good burgers at Legends. Nita was a great host, A communication.

Family Weekend

Had a wonderful time! Enjoyed the Cheese Country ATV Trail, The Toy Train Barn (must see) and Cave of the Mounds. Love the Driftless Area! Home was great and Nita was always responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time staying in this comfortable home. It was super clean and had everything we needed, plus so much more. The area is so beautiful and quiet. The stars were abundant and sunsets were beautiful. Time slowed down as we enjoyed the simple pleasures all around us. The host couple is so gracious and made themselves available to anything we may need or questions we had. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

You can enjoy the peace of tranquility of the farm but also be centrally located on the ATV trails in Lafayette County, including access to the Cheese County Trail. In the winter, snowmobile trails are nearby too! We are also close to many neighboring towns with unique events and shopping in Southwest Wisconsin.
