3 bedroom, Cozy, Multi-Family-friendly cabin in Coosawattee Resort - Ellijay, Ga

This cabin is located in the beautiful Coosawattee River Resort. There are so many wonderful features! It has three large bedrooms, a big front porch to watch wildlife, and an updated kitchen + bathrooms with moody/modern vibes!

This cabin has the following bedding configuration:
• King in Master Bedroom w/ fireplace and large windows
• Queen in Second Bedroom that has the master bath
• Full size in bunk room along with a set of twin bunk beds

There are Roku televisions in every room along with fast WiFi. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything from a coffee maker to wine glasses. Plenty of bath towels as well as make up removing towels. Lots of seating on the front porch to enjoy the deer. Also outdoor dining on the newly screened in back patio.

This cabin is still a work in progress and will soon also have a 400 square foot speak-easy in the back building. The back building space will feature a full bar, projector screen, and additional sleeping spaces. So make sure to check back in!


Coosawattee Resort offers a variety of amenities to enjoy including:

*Outdoor sun lounging

Passes are available to enjoy all amenities. The pass is good for 4 people (up to two passes). (Passes are available on not upon request) THE PASSES ARE TO BE LEFT AT THE PROPERTY. There is a charge of $59 for lost passes. If you remove a pass from the property there will be a $59 charge to accommodate the next guests.

There is always FREE access to the IN-RESORT TUBING RIVER, river parks, pavilions for gatherings, playgrounds, and exercise. Throughout the resort there are walking trails, a stocked catch-and-release fishing lake, a duck pond and other green space areas to explore. There are over 250 miles of roads in the Resort with four separate controlled entry gates.

It is hard to fully describe the clean air, the quiet and serene, the observations of the eagles circling in the sky, the deer and wildlife roaming around the homes or the vast number of stars at night. All of which are here waiting for you and your family!

Best of all, this peaceful Mountain Resort is just minutes to shopping, hot coffee, movie theater, dozens of restaurants, attractions and several fabulous local wineries, breweries and orchards.

Cabin is located right off main road, easily sleeps 6-8 family members. Plenty of wildlife, and the owners truly care about you enjoying your stay.

Quiet & secluded

Enjoyed the time feeding the deer. They just came up to the house. They were not afraid. Enjoyed the Apple festival & shopping downtown.

Family stay

This was a 2nd cabin to accommodate our family of 16 for us to celebrate my daughter’s 50th birthday. It was most memorable, especially the deer eating out of their hands. Great to have deer food to hand feed them

Excellent stay

We loved the cabin, great area in the mountains. The heard of deer became our friends, grandkids loved feeding them (we went to Walmart and bought 2 more bags). Close to downtown Ellijay, and we went over to Dahlonega for a day as well. We have camped at Amicalola Falls and Fort Mountain so we are familiar with the area. Couldn’t use the hot tub due to the very cold temperatures, enjoyed a snow flurry. Wished the gas fireplaces worked, was a great getaway for the end of the year, would absolutely stay here again with extended family. Just the wife and I and we pull the camper. Our host was great she answered all our questions before we arrived and was very helpful.

A fun aesthetic mountain stay

Me and my gal pals stayed at this house for a book readtreat. The house was clean, well designed, and fit the 7 of us well! The only issue we ran into is that we were very excited about the hot tub. Upon arrival, we turned it on and over the Friday-Sunday we stayed, it never got up to a temp warm enough to use. We contacted the owner and they got back to us quickly and apologized that they usually have it turned on in advance of arrivals but it must have gotten overlooked. Overall, we had a great stay and would probably stay again!

The setting for this cabin was lovely and fairly private. It is a long, narrow road that leads into the property.Overall, our stay was ok. You can tell by the state of the furniture that a lot of children stay here. The furniture is stained and old.We had one issue, the absence of wash cloths. We contacted the host and they said they would contact housekeeping but that was the last we heard. No washcloths were delivered.If you don't provide bar soap, only body wash, you must provide washcloths!Additional suggestions would be to label the bathroom supplies. There are 3 bottles and no way to know which is shampoo, conditioner or body wash. Also, leave more than 1 towel per person when we are staying 3 nights. There is a washer/dryer but there was no detergent provided, only empty bottles on the shelf.The game room is open but we did not go in. The hot tub does not work.Overall, the cabin fit our needs but the hosts could have provided us with adequate supplies.

Quick weekend

Great new property! Very much like home. The deer on the property were a great surprise! Definitively would stay again! As a new property, I would recommend just a couple things. Not enough dishware to cook breakfast properly. That would be my only suggestion there, maybe an additional skillet or two. The only other thing would be cushions for the chairs on the porch. The beds were really comfortable! Keep up the good work with the property! Also could change the Kentucky flag to a Vols one! :)

Cozy Cabin

It is a very cute and cozy cabin. Very quiet with lots of trees and friendly deer. The owner/manager was very pleasant, helpful and responded quickly when I had questions. I loved the porch. I like how the kitchen was opened to the living room. It is gated so you will need to know the lot # upon arrival when getting in. If the owner knows, it would have been neat to know the history of the cabin and upgrades to it. (Love to know the history of homes.) I would also recommend a book/folder that has instructions about check out (i.e. what to do with towels, linens, garbage, etc) and include local restaurants, things to do in the area, etc. There just needs to be some updates in the cabin but we were very happy with what we got for the price. I would recommend this place to family & friends. It is a beautiful area. No views of mountains or streams from the cabin, but the deer are awesome!

I have been vacationing in Blue Ridge 2013. I have stayed in the Coosawattee River Resort at least 3 other times. I feel as if it my duty to inform some serious discrepancies from the reviews that are left about this property. First, communication with the property owner is sporadic. She responds when she wants. Booked this cabin back in March and I was told that the hot tub did not work because of a previous guest damaging it. When I reconnected with the property owner, she explained that it was still broken with a hole ripped in it. When we arrived for our stay, the owner explained the entry process for the resort, which I knew. The front gate did not have any information of our stay but took our Vrbo information as proof. When driving to the cabin, it is a regular road in the resort until you reach the address display which is recessed from the road. The cabin was dusty, dirty and full of cobwebs. I informed that the trash had not been picked up. We noticed the dishwasher was run and hadn't been emptied. As a guest, the home should not require any cleaning. We always bring our own supplies to a cabin such as toilet paper, paper towels, pots, pans and anything we may need. Items molding in the dishwasher. I had to clean the kitchen better than any cleaner would do. I have pictures to show what the cabin looked like. Not to mention the metal and rebar I had to pull from the driveway. I felt misled about this property and don't recommend staying here until things change.

We are so sorry for your experience despite getting refunded money. It is very uncommon for us. Unfortunately, I would have to say that I believe it is a tactic that you have used in the past to manipulate hosts to give you discounts or money. It’s a sad world when you are examples of such poor behavior. I hoped that refunding you money back would have made a difference (as you requested) but still, here we are. I hope your next hosts know what they’re in for.
