Perfect for an epic fishing adventure (there’s room to park your boat), a couples’ getaway or small family vacation, Alister House invites with spacious comfort for up to four guests with one bedroom and one full bathroom. This vacation home is pet-friendly for up to two well-behaved pooches (30 pounds or less), so you can bring your four-legged best friend along.

Step inside to the living room the plush sofa and large flat screen TV are ready for movie nights in. Furnished front and back porches offer a prime spot to relax in the coastal breeze. Alister House’s spacious eat-in kitchen features butcher block countertops and stainless-steel appliances ready to tackle your favorite recipes. Fishing excursions call for fresh catch cookouts under the setting sun. While the kids and pups run and play in the fenced-in back yard, you’ll grill up a mouth-watering feast. Afterwards, it’s time for smores around the fire pit.

After a fun-filled day in Port A, retreat back to Alister House’s king-size bedroom. Plush bedding, a flat-screen TV and plenty of dresser space will greet you. Before falling into bed, end the day with a soothing rinse in the ensuite bathroom’s generously sized walk-in shower. The house was absolutely perfect for our 20th anniversary trip, and the fenced backyard was a dream for our dogs. Located in the heart of restaurants, and shops, and close to the beach, we had everything we needed. The decor, furniture, porches, literally everything was perfect.

Cute cottage just right for 2 people and a pup. The only problem we encountered was flies inside and upon more investigation many flies on the outside of the house. Maintenance was called and they fixed the problem. We were very happy with our choice of stay and would stay here again.

Laundry on site was convenient. Air conditioning was great. Area was good with some road work blocking the drive it was gray having the parking area available next door. Had problems with the TV and remotes the entire time and flickering of the porch light that seemed to not work after the first couple of days. Overall, a great place and definitely would recommend.

The house was so charming with beautiful coastal decor, plantation shutters and shiplap walls. The yard was fenced in and perfect for our little Pomeranian fur baby. The location was so close to all the best restaurants, night life and of course the beach was just a couple mins by golf cart or car away! The perfect little getaway.

Loved this little house. Nice backyard (need to fix fence as one of my littles got out by going under house) great location and just a few minute from beach! Will stay here again.

This was such a great place to stay. The home was quaint and perfect for the two of us. It was close to the shops as well as the beach. Would definitely come back!

Great Location, Nicely Updated

This is one of my favorite overall stays in Port A. Walking distance to restaurants near the beach and super clean home. Being able to bring my 2 small pups was great. Make sure you bring what you need for coffee and blow dryer (if needed). Everything was very comfortable to include the queen sized bed. Absolutely will return.

Weekend Getaway

The house is such a a delightful property and was very comfortable. Restaurants and shopping was very close....walking distance close and the beach a short drive. Our dog liked having a backyard. We would definitely stay here again if it was just the two of us and Shiner. We loved the use of the golf cart....it's fun!

We loved staying here! It was close to everything. The golf cart was an extra bonus feature. Bed was super comfy! Loved the backyard! A/C worked amazing. Washer/dryer super nice to have. Would def stay here again!

House was nice. Hot water was an issue. Cleanliness was an issue when arriving. Towels were all over the bathroom floor. The bed was a mess. Kitchen table was covered in sand.

Bed too firm and uncomfortable for spouse.No salt / pepper in kitchen (sparse) per spouse.We enjoyed the stay, even in the rainy weather.Sofa and rest of home was very comfortable.Lovely to be able to walk the neighborhood and to restaurants. The golf cart was wonderful.

Fun and close to everything

Alister house is so cute and close to everything. We had a very enjoyable stay! Pros: location to restaurants and bars, you can walk to so many things, if you like the hustle and bustle of a thriving town the location is perfect. Fenced backyard was great for the dogs plus the hose made it easy to rinse the salt water and sand off them. House is super cute and well decorated, comes with the use of the golf cart. King size bed firmness was a pro for me.Cons: location could be a con if you like more quiet and serene, being so close to everything - the bar music stays on until after midnight, this didn’t bother us tho. Our biggest complaint: While the house has big plantation shutters they do also need some curtains because it is that bright outside all night from all the restaurants and businesses and it still illuminated the entire inside of the house even with all the shutters closed. Firmness of the bed for my husband was a con, a never ending marital battle lol. The brakes on the golf cart do not work, which while a con-we still had fun with it. The pros definitely outweigh the cons tho and we would absolutely stay again!

Lovely Stay

This home is super cute, clean, Ave perfectly located. We really enjoyed our stay. I would have given the proper 5 stars, execpt for a few disappointing things:The back yard was unusable for our dog because past irresponsible pet owners didn't pick up after their dogs. The yard was covered in poop. (The property management did offer to come pick it up.)The golf was a great ammenity; however, the breaks didn't work well. We had a pretty scary moment at a stop sign and quickly brought the cart home and used our truck thereafter. Finally, the kitchen is poorly stocked. There are very few plates, bowls, and glasses. A quick trip to Goodwill could get those cabinets better supplied! Overall, excellent. The
