Stunning 3 bed, 2.5 bath home, nestled in a quiet woodsy setting.

Redbud Retreat is a beautiful house nestled in the woods in Greens Fork, IN.  Sparkling clean and thoughtfully furnished, you'll find it the perfect spot for your next getaway or work assignment.  On the main floor there's there's a lovely living room filled with natural light, a furnished kitchen and dining area, and a half-bath and a laundry room.  Upstairs is a king suite with a private bathroom, a bedroom with a queen bed and a set of single bunks, and another bedroom with a queen bed, and another full bathroom.  In the basement are ping-pong and pool tables for your enjoyment.  There is a fire ring with firewood provided in a beautiful spot in the woods near the house and is a great spot to connect with family and friends.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

- We kindly ask that there are no fireworks, loud music, or rowdy behavior.

- Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

We stayed here 2 nights for an early Thanksgiving Weekend with our family of 6 adults and 4 children. The house is in a wooded setting and was large enough to accommodate our group without feeling crowded. It was very clean and communication was good. Check-in was easy and internet was good. There is no TV so we brought one and a Roku and we were able to stream programs. The kitchen was well supplied with some basic spices and coffee. Additional dishes and silverware would be nice especially for larger groups. There were several nice sized pots and pans and a cookie sheet, but bakeware and things like mixing bowls and knives were limited and the can opener was almost useless. The basement is unfinished and there is a ping pong table and air hockey down there but no pool table. There is also a small air hockey table upstairs. The couch in the front room is a hide a bed and the bedrooms are large enough that kids could sleep on the floor if they want to be in the room with their parents. There was a pack and play in the closet of the master bedroom plus a booster seat in the downstairs closet. There is a good assortment of games. Overall the house is a great place for a family get together, I'd just suggest that you bring some disposable dishes with you if you have a large group and don't want to do dishes all the time. Also, the water was fine. No odor or funny taste. The refrigerator doesn't have an ice maker, so if you want ice you should bring some with you.

Oven didn't heat properly. I believe one of the elements was burned out. Washer not up to standards. Wasps and stink bugs in one of the bedrooms.House is beautiful and very spacious.

The property was secluded and very peaceful. Lots of space, included everything we needed to have a long weekend getaway. It is no doubt a property I would use again.

The house is beautiful in size. Didn't seem like anybody had stayed in it for a while as there were lots of cobwebs,dead bugs in the window sills, glass doors dirty, bedding didn't smell clean, coffee pot was dirty and still had coffee grounds in it. All in all the place needed a good cleaning. This house has potential to be absolutely gorgeous just needs attention to detail. Other than that it is a great location & very spacious.

The area and home is very nice and I could easily see others enjoying their stay but unfortunately this was not the case for us. We didn’t have running water for 3 out of the 4 days. The property manager fixed it on the last day. Mistakes happen and that’s understandable. I think what’s frustrating is that no sort of refund was given at all. We couldn’t shower, wash our hands, or go to the bathroom for 3 out of the 4 nights. There’s also not a lot of places nearby to wash hands, etc.

The property is stunning and plenty of space for multiple people if needed! Hosts are extremely friendly and great at communicating as well!! Definitely a place you could come back to over and over again!!

Great space for a family get together

The house was just as describedThe host was great and quickly responded with when i had questions. We arrived to find a nice note and home baked cookies. The berries was great and it was very spacious for our large group. Definitely recommend

Perfect for Family Gathering

My father, husband, children (21, 16), their two friends (19, 18) and myself all immensely enjoyed our stay. We grew up in neighboring Henry County, so we were somewhat familiar with this area even though we had not been here in several years. We needed accommodations as we had a family wedding to attend this particular weekend, and the property was absolutely perfect for us to stay the weekend and beyond. Nestled into the woods, we enjoyed the comforts of tranquility and privacy, along with viewing abundant wildlife. There were deer outside of our window every morning when we woke up, so it really felt like home for us. Our young adults enjoyed a tournament on the ping pong table in the basement. The living room and kitchen are open so we could all sit comfortably together. On our last night, it got pretty cold so we put our Jeeps in the garage to prevent frost--hopefully it was okay to use the garage; there was no signage requesting us not to so we figured it was okay. It was very nice to not have to go out to ice on the windshields as we got ready to leave the next morning. There was ample parking for all three of our vehicles and guests, too. Cousins that we had not seen in 10+ years brought us Pizza King one night and we had a nice visit with them. (If you're local, you know what a treat Pizza King is; if you're not familiar, I can't recommend it enough. Nearby Hagerstown has an excellent PK.) Everything was crisp and clean, too. Many memories created, thank you!

Retreat in the woods

Large home with gorgeous kitchen. Plenty of beds, more bedding and pillows would have been nice. Plenty of parking and outdoor space to let kids run around. The water smell was not pleasant at all. It was the only aspect of the home that we didn’t enjoy. Lots of indoor space to play games and visit as a family.

Romantic Rustic Getaway. I Loved It

I work in the area and have stayed almost everywhere. This house is WAY better than anything by Richmond. Secluded, quiet, good for downtime. No TV which was a shock but not a problem for me. It was very relaxing and nice. The house is HUGE and great. It has a big back porch and a nice yard. The communication was perfect.

House is better than most, Location is remote and quiet. Furnishings needed are TV, Bed stand Lamps, and closer attention to cleanliness, the well water is non-potable to strangers, need bottled water provided for Coffee and drinking. Generally, Nice rental. Communication and accuracy of details with Sandpiper required multiple calls and stress.

The property was great but we had a little hiccup with getting in the house.Somehow either I overlooked the message or it didn't come in till we had arrived.I don't know what happened but nevertheless,I didn't get it and so we had quite a time of getting in.It will not keep me from scheduling with VRBO again.I will just have to pay more attention to my emails
