Welcome to Vineyard Cove, a charming seasonal lake house nestled in a peaceful cove on beautiful Canandaigua Lake. Just steps from the water and surrounded by picturesque vineyard views, this special retreat is designed for making unforgettable family memories.

Spend your days relaxing on the expansive wraparound screened porch, enjoying meals around the large farmhouse tables, playing board games, or simply taking in the lake breeze. Unwind with a book or afternoon nap on the upper sleeping porch, fish from the dock, swim in the clear lake waters, or enjoy the flat lawn for outdoor games and family fun. In the evening, gather around the fire pit for s’mores and stories under the stars.

Guests are welcome to explore the lake using our rowboat, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboard, or take a stroll through the neighboring vineyard and enjoy the beauty of the Finger Lakes.

The Home

The cottage features a spacious, open floor plan that flows seamlessly onto the large wraparound screened porch, creating the perfect space for gathering, dining, and relaxing.

First Floor

As a historic seasonal cottage, the home does not have traditional closets. Storage is provided through dressers, trunks, and hanging racks.

Important Information

* Seasonal lake house with no central heat.
* Fireplace is decorative only and may not be used.
* Reverse osmosis drinking water system provides clean, great-tasting water—no bottled water needed.
* Guests may dock a boat using the boat whips with prior approval.
* Owner’s boat and jet ski are not available for guest use.
* Laundry facilities are not available on-site; a laundromat is located nearby in Naples.

A Note About Lake Living

This is a true seasonal lake cottage. Being lakeside means you’ll occasionally encounter insects, spiders, wildlife, and other natural elements that come with enjoying the outdoors. While the home is professionally cleaned before every stay, we encourage guests to embrace the authentic lake-house experience and ensure it is the right fit for their vacation style.

Comfort & Cooling

Window air-conditioning units are provided in the downstairs bedroom and two upstairs bedrooms. Additional fans are available throughout the home. The main living area benefits from cooling lake breezes and large French doors that open directly onto the screened porch.
