at Knotting Hill Place or Brighton Abbey, you have come to the right
house! A quick look over the pool and you will see Knotting Hill Place right across the
street and Brighton Abbey is only a short 10 minute drive north.

The house itself is beautiful, one of the children thought it was a castle. The rooms were very large and spacious the beds were comfortable. They provided some coffee pods that was nice. We had an issue with wasp nest that was too high to get ourselves and they came out right away. Other than the carpets pretty stained in some of the rooms it was really clean and inviting.

Little Elm Family Holiday

The property was perfect for our family gathering. The indoor and outdoor kitchen was a huge hit. The overall space was fantastic. Kathy did an awesome job from beginning to the wrap up. The nice touches of Christmas decorations and our favorite wine made the stay extra special. Definitely would rent again.

Great Family Friendly Getaway

I rented this home for graduation weekend to have friends and family celebrate my son's high-school graduation. The home is beautiful. The main kitchen/living room area is open allowing all of our guests to conversate without anyone feeling excluded. Everyone enjoyed the pool area, the covered back patio is great and the outdoor kitchen was perfect for grilling. The home is isolated with an empty lot on one side and quite a bit of separation from the home on the other. We all enjoyed the weekend, the graduation party was a huge success with everyone having a great time. Would recommend.

Great stay, but house needs some attention

We rented this home for us & our extended family for our daughter’s wedding weekend. The owners allowed us an early check in, which we really appreciated. The home lives large as advertised, was very open, very clean, cold a/c throughout, all baths were equipped with shampoo/condit/body wash dispensers. When we arrived, there were a few starter necessities missing like paper towels, trashbags & dishwasher pods & we had already been to the store 20 min away, so owners had those items delivered right away & we were so grateful. Downsides to this property were inadequate seating in living area & all bedrooms, lack of night stands/lamps in bedrooms & sparsely stocked kitchen, the lack of dishes & utensils forced us to use paper/plasticware. Some of the beds were ok but some need replacement in our opinion. Additional pillows, blankets & throws would have added more comfort for our stay.

Far from 5-Star Accommodations

We checked into the home on Christmas Eve. Knots Landing is a nice size home on a large property, but is in need of significant maintenance. The rugs were stained in most of the rooms. The walls were damaged- chipped paints, marks, etc. The outdoor grill was filthy. The kitchen and dining rooms had multiple chairs with legs that needed to be replaced. We sat them away from the table so nobody would get hurt.I’m really glad that I brought pots, pans, crockpot, paper plates and serving utensils. Multiple pans were dirty to include their crockpot. The pans, black plates, black bowls, silverware were extremely cheap. Additionally, the fuse was tripped in the kitchen when we arrived, so we had to contact host and get the code to garage for fuse box access. We reset the fuse multiple times. During our stay we could not secure the front door from the exterior of the house. We called the host Holly and she did not answer. We then sent a text and after multiple back and forward texts, her response was “Just leave it and Happy Holidays”. We contacted the emergency number and it went to voicemail. The day before our departure, we contacted the emergency number again and the lock was fixed.The master bedroom closet should have been a locked area as it was in total disarray-dirty towels and sheets on the floor.My hope is this review allows owners to pause on booking and bring the home up to par for the neighborhood and what customers expect from a 5-Star Stay
