We had a great stay in Meota! The house had all the amenities we could need and was a comfortable home base for our family. The sunroom was such a lovely space to spend the early mornings with our little ones. The outdoor space is great with room to run around and relax. We had a beautiful evening enjoying a fire and watching the northern lights.It is an older home with some character. The bedrooms are small, the doors don’t fully close and the floors are a bit sloped, but we knew we were staying in an older house and none of those things took away from our experience.Overall, it was a comfortable, well-equipped and peaceful place to stay. The location was great for us, with easy access to the regional campground and beach. The hosts were very attentive and made a point of checking in throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well, which was thoughtful and appreciated.A great little spot for a relaxing family getaway!

Beautiful Meota Lake Cabin

Beautiful spot and cozy home. The cabin has everything you need. The view out the sunroom window was incredible. The beds were very comfortable. veryccomfortableeyscocomfortable.

Quaint cabin in Meota

The property owner was amazing, she went over and above for us. She was thoughtful and kind. The cabin was clean and the furniture was nice. The best part of the cabin was the sunroom that had a view of the lake. The cabin is bright and relaxing. We will definitely be coming back next summer.

Quiet and peaceful spot

Looking for a peaceful spot with a nice view, we got it. House was lovely for a couple or a small family. Two bedrooms, a tight bathroom area, and all the basics in the kitchen you’d need. Nice new fridge. The sunroom was the star of the show. Staying Victoria Day weekend there were lots of bugs so we didn’t venture outside really. Comfy spot to read, relax, enjoy a meal or play a game with a nice partial view of Jackfish Lake. 1 block from the general store and cafe/bar/restaurant.The house is on a very quiet end of the street. Most days we saw very little traffic on the road, so we loved the peacefulness of the location. House is older but didn’t stop us from fully enjoying a three day weekend of resting up. Good value place and great communication from the host and her sister. Thanx again for your home, totally enjoyed our weekend.
