Very nice!! All the comforts of home. Anything and everything you would need was onsite. Very quiet and friendly neighborhood. I would recommend anyone needing a break to reserve a stay here. The property owner thought of everything you would need to get a way and relax.

We had a great stay! The listing was exactly as described — comfortable, tidy, and well-stocked. The neighborhood was quiet, and communication with the host was prompt and helpful. The kitchen was even better equipped than expected, which made meals really easy to prepare. We didn’t bring pets, but appreciated that the home provided sofa covers and two crates for those who do. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable experience. We’d happily stay here again!

We had an issue getting our key to enter the property, but the owner resolved the issue promptly. The kitchen has nice appliances although we could never really figure out how to work the microwave.

This is our second stay with caraway and have enjoyed it. Very close to everything, and was just enough for my little family and pups. Only thing was the Roku and wifi was not working for the tv and my daughters phone. But we was not at the house long enough for that to fully matter. Thank you all for having us

Well stocked, cute cottage!

This rental has everything you need for a relaxing getaway—it’s well-stocked, with good WiFi, a washer/dryer, and a smart TV. It looks recently remodeled and is close to Caswell Beach, Oak Island, and Southport. The fully equipped kitchen and cozy porch make it feel like home. It was perfectly located for a beach vacation! We’ll definitely stay here again.Bonus: There’s a dog crate in the house, which was a lifesaver since we forgot ours. It saved us an expensive trip to a local pet store.Note: Finding the lockbox can be a bit tricky. You’re looking for the one on the wooden stairs on the side of the house—not the lockbox in the back. Once we found the correct one, everything was great. Communication with the host was excellent.

Caraway 2025

Caraway served every purpose we required for our trip to oak island. It was clean and quiet and had everything we needed for our 7 day trip. ( beach chairs, towels, appliances, games, etc.) We had a couple of questions for our host and she answered almost immediately and resolved our one issue promptly. (Irrigation install cut internet line next door. Was resolved within 24hours) Would hughly recommend using this property for your vacation or getaway.

Great beach getaway!

Spacious getaway equipped with everything you might want to have for a day at the beach or activities like a seafood boil...as well as lots of puzzles and games for a rainy day. Short ride to wonderful beaches...lots of great restaurants and very kid friendly.

This little beach getaway was perfect for our friends getaway with my dog in tow. We appreciated having access to towels, chairs, and beach car6 for our short walk to the There wabeach.

Winter February break in North carolina

The property is comfortable and fully equipped for a vacation stay. We only had one issue, the refrigerators ice making unit never functioned for the entire stayOak island is obviously popular with many parts of it subject to construction of new units. The land adjacent to our vacation unit was being stripped in preparation to building work. When on vacation quiet enjoyment is a requirement.

October vacation

Perfect home for us near the waterway & easy walk to the ocean. The house was extremely clean, had enough space for all of us, comfy beds & well equipped kitchen. Nice porch with Adirondack chairs for relaxing. Would definitely recommend to others.

Family weekend

House was spotless and a perfect setting for a family traveling with a small dog. Everything was provided- linens, towels, kitchen supplies, etc. beach access was easy for our needs but may be more of a challenge for a young family.

Nice place but checkout list and neighborhood leaves something to be desired.

The stay was nice overall. My wife and I and one of our friends stayed there for 3 nights for a wedding. The rental was clean overall (except for the iron which shot rust all over my wedding shirt) but the checkout list left a lot to be desired. For as long as the list was and how much we needed to clean on our own, it was frustrating that we spent our last morning doing laundry and dishes and were not given the option for a later checkout even though there was not another reservation for the following day.
