Excellent, well described! Very clean. I have stayed at other VRBO properties and they were not meticulous in cleaning. The cleanliness was the best! They hit even the hard to reach and most often missed places! Everything was fresh and tidy! A! The property is in a safe neighborhood, quiet, with an amazing lake view! Well stocked kitchen and lay out of furniture, sleeping spaces, Etc....A

Beautiful property. Wonderful view. Perfect location. Very disappointed in area restaurants. If you like to stay in and cook, suggest that for you. Don’t waste money in local eateries. The place was a bit unclean. Doors needed some attention. I believe I left it cleaner than when I got there. I still strongly suggest The Lake House. Very pleasant stay with me and my friend.

Ocean shores

Great location. Really close to all the sights of Ocean Shores. The house was very clean. It had everything you would need in the kitchen.We had a great stay!

We loved this place!

Very clean space with lots of natural light. We brought a collapsible fishing pole and ended up catching a fish off of the dock. The fence is not completely enclosed, but worked out okay with our dogs under close supervision. Short drive to the shops and beach. We rented mopeds at the beach which was a lot of fun for the family. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Quiet, comfortable stay.

We enjoyed the home. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. It had the utensils that we needed to fix our meals. The one thing I would suggest is to have either a chair or a luggage holder in both bedrooms. That way you would not have to put your suitcase in the floor

Perfect space to enjoy company

The space was wonderful. It would have been nice to have more chairs at the kitchen table. Also the chairs are wobbling. And the queen size bed in the double room feels a little like sleeping on springs. But we plan to come ba k. A great location and pet friendly.

Stunning, peaceful and nature at its best!!

Quiet and just perfectly situated on the lake. Daily visits from a family of Otters. Birds singing all day, and frogs all night. 5 minute walk to Damon Park and a huge bay with miles to walk along the beach. Great yard for the dog. Comfy and cozy on the inside. LOVED staying here and will definitely stay again.

Great Location!

The property was in a good neighborhood for kids to ride bikes and you could walk to beach. The yard was big for dogs to play. Being on the lake was a bonus! The fire pit was good. The beds need to be replaced. The double bed in the 2 nd bedroom was not sturdy for 2 adults. I bring my own bedding and comforter which was good because the bedding was not much! Could use better kitchen utensils. Overall.. very nice stay!

Lovely getaway

A sweet home. Comfortable and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and the view of the canal with a cup of coffee was the best way to start the day. The office and maintenance staff were so helpful with an after hours issue with the cable modem. We would definitely come back.

Wonderful waterfront cottage

The property is located in the southern part of Ocean Shores and is very close to the Oyhut Village which provides easy access to a small market, restaurant and wine bar. We enjoyed the back deck overlooking the canal and the spacious living area. The kitchen was very well equipped with modern appliances. Pots/pans and other cooking items were a bit low quality. Our biggest complaint were the mattresses which were very thin and of very low quality. The neighborhood is very quiet although there was construction occurring next door. A huge plus for this location is that it features a large yard making it dog friendly, but is not fully fenced in. Overall we sincerely enjoyed our stay here and plan on returning.

I would definitely stay here again. We will bring our kayaks next time. Did the last clam dig of the season on Mothers Day.We all had our first experience seeing the Northern Lights from deck. Garage is not available to put a car in. Grill is in the garage, if you are looking for it.

Great property for our group.

Just enough space to keep the family happy. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. I just wish the weather cooperated more to spend more time on the kayaks and use the fire pit. Sadly, we lost our cat here though, so if you happen to see a friendly female grey tabby with part of her left ear tip cut off.. please please please take to shelter to be claimed. (She has microchip)

I have to say I was very disappointed when I got there. Blinds were broken, 8 out of 9 of them. Toilet tank was broken and had to keep the door closed so my grandchildren wouldn’t go in. They could have cut themselves. Dishwasher was never emptied. I thought our place was a “nonsmoking “ but there were cigarette buttes in the back yard. Dents in the walls and crayon marks on the doors. I sent some pictures to the host and all they said was, they were aware of it, minus the cigarettes and dishwasher, since I hadn’t sent it yet to them, that they were going to fix it all after my stay. Then on my last full day, there were 2 guys mowing and weed hacking around 11am. I will be addressing this more to the host, as well. So disappointed.

the beds were very uncoverable. One bed frame was broken, The fold down couch was to difficult to fold back up. One kitchen chair was held together by drywall screws. and screen door on sliding door was broken. The location was great.
