Designer Poolside La Mesa Retreat w/ BBQ & Yard

Summary:

Relax at this newly designed poolside guest house in the quiet hills of La Mesa. This bright one bedroom one bath, has a desk, reading nook, comfortable living room sofa bed, an open kitchen, patio with bistro set, paid onsite W/D, card games, TV, new AC, coffee, and a yard. The outdoor areas are shared with other guests. Swim and lounge by the pool, enjoy the propane BBQ & the turf courtyard with seating and a playground.



The Space:

Recently remodeled kitchen with stainless steel appliances and beautiful bathroom with oversized shower.



This guest house is located in the hills of La Mesa, situated behind the front home, on an acre of property. It's the first floor unit, downstairs from another guest house. The area is quiet and peaceful, and set back from neighbors and the road. You'll take the long driveway up to the home, and park in your designated space. Upon entering using contactless, keyless entry you'll be in your home away from home! You'll enter into the open concept kitchen, dining, living area, with a TV, card games, and pool view. The sofa folds out into a comfortable queen size bed with a 4in mattress. The chaise lounge opens to a large storage compartment of the sofa linens and pillows. Down the the hallway you will find the newly remodeled beach style bathroom, with a large shower. At the end of the hall is the bedroom with office desk, reading nook, and a queen size bed.



Outside your front door is a patio bistro set looking out to the large 10 foot deep pool. The kitchen includes retro inspired appliances, plates, cups, glasses, wine glasses, cutlery, salt & pepper, and an assortment of coffee, teas, popcorn, and hot chocolate, providing everything you'll need to make home cooked meals. The bathroom has a shower with towels, soaps, and a hair dryer provided.



You have access to a coin op shared laundry room. The pool is not heated, so typically not used in the winter. With an acre of property to enjoy, our guests are free to hike up the hill for a sunrise, and pick fresh oranges and lemons from our fruit trees. The newly renovated turf courtyard has a playground and outdoor toys for the little ones to enjoy.



Guest Access:

Guests have fully private access to the guest house, and all shared outdoor spaces (pool, courtyard, seating areas)



The Neighborhood:

Centrally located in the rolling hills of San Diego County, La Mesa is known as the Jewel of the Hills. A near perfect climate, tree-lined streets, walkable neighborhoods, easy access to retail and commercial areas, and a quaint downtown village make La Mesa a highly desirable community! It is about a 15-20 minute drive to all of San Diego's main attractions - the Zoo, Seaworld, Coronado Beach, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, Downtown, Petco Park, and the SD Convention Center.



Getting Around:

Driving is the best way to get around, though it's a nice 20 minute walk (through the hills) to the farmers market and shops in La Mesa Village.



Interaction with Guests:

Outdoor spaces are shared with guests from all three vacation rentals on property. I am happy to assist with anything you might need during your stay. You have a private back entrance to your home right next to where you’ll park.
