This cozy apartment was tastefully remodeled and is perfect for the vacationing couple, traveling retirees, Balloon Fiesta visitors, or professionals.
This is a beautifully remodeled and updated apartment. Cook in a beautifully remodeled kitchen with new cabinets, all new appliances, beautiful granite counter tops, and plenty of New Mexico Pinon gourmet coffee provided. Take a break while watching the Smart TV located in the living room from the beautiful Genuine Leather comfy couch. After a long day of hiking or the Balloon Fiesta, rest and relax in the luxury queen sized bed outfitted with soft linens and down alternative comforters. No expense was spared in outfitting this space.
If you are visiting for the world-famous Albuquerque Balloon fiesta, the apartment is a short 20-minute drive from the front gate. Balloon pilots from all over the world to fly in this bucket list one-of-a-kind experience. Throughout the rest of the year, head to Balloon Fiesta Park to visit the Albuquerque International Balloon Museum to learn all about the "Hot Air Ballooning Capital of the World".
The world-famous Sandia Peak Tramway is a short 10-minute drive from the apartment. Ride the tram to the top of Sandia Mountains to enjoy beautiful views of the city of Albuquerque below, access to Sandia Peak Ski Resort in the winter and mountain biking in the summer.
Sandia Resort & Casino is only 15 minutes away, featuring an award-winning golf course open to the public, spa services, restaurants and concerts throughout the year.
Take a quick drive via I-40 to historic Albuquerque Old Town where you can shop the Plaza for authentic hand-crafted turquoise and silver jewelry. Get your fill of red or green chile at many local New Mexican restaurants before heading over to the Albuquerque Museum of Art & History, New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science, and Explora Science Museum for kids of all ages.
You can also head north via I-25 for a short drive up to Santa Fe for a day trip. Or for a more leisurely and scenic drive up to Santa Fe, simply head south on Tramway Blvd. and around the Sandia Mountains to the Turquoise Trail.
This property is located on a very quiet and safe street of multi-unit properties. Directly behind the street are several streets of beautiful homes located at the foot of the Sandia Mountain. Guests will have their own parking space located in the private parking lot off the street and in front of the property. Our guests will have full access to the apartment that is outfitted with a remotely programmable electronic lock. There are no shared amenities in the apartment. There is one small step approximately 4 inches tall to access the inside of the apartment. Once inside, the apartment is all one story with no steps inside.
Your host Jake owns, manages and maintains the property and lives 10 minutes away. You may even see/meet him during your stay when he goes to check on the property to ensure it is up to standard for his guests.

We had a lovely stay in ABQ with Jake. This property was clean and tidy and looked just like the pictures. Jake was caring and responsive host. We would gladly stay here or at another of Jake's properties in the future.

I have lived in Albuquerque most of my life and love it because of the wide open spaces. I am a retired retail manager that spent 27 years working for a major retailer. In those 27 years, I really learned how to take care of my guests! I am now doing something I love in providing great experiences for my guests that stay in our home. I have been married to my lovely wife for going on 23 years and have two girls ages 19 and 13. I love to spend most of my free time traveling. We love exploring or spending time at the lake, river, or beach. I pride myself on being available for my guests any time by responding quickly to calls, texts, and emails.

This is my sixth short term property. I absolutely love this neighborhood because of it's location. It is perfect for everyone from the business traveler, the retired couple, or traveling family. If you love amazing views of the city and mountains, hiking, mountain biking, road biking, walking, running, skiing, dining, or breweries, this is the place for you! It is in one of the safest and most desired neighborhoods in Albuquerque. I also love it because it is convenient to every single thing Albuquerque has to offer. It is only 15 minutes from Balloon Fiesta park, so it is amazing to stay at for the Fiesta! The home is also convenient to I-40 which will take you to I-25 to spend the day in Santa Fe or anywhere else you want to visit.
