    Great Experience!

    What a hidden gem! Newly renovated rooms top to bottom, with comfortable new beds and fresh new appliance. Plenty of towels and stocked kitchenette with tools you need to cook and eat. Also amazing lakeside views and back patio area to sit and grill. Overall A+ will definitely be returning in the future and look forward to using vacasa. Thanks guys:)

    VINTAGE MEETS MODERN IN UP NORTH ESCAPE

    New owners kept the charm and brought this classic getaway motel up to 2022 with new cabinets, all appliances and even a small furnace tucked away in the closet. We stayed at the Feller - a small studio type room with a delightful view of the lake (South Turtle in Vilas County). We had full use of the dock and grounds. My husband and I enjoyed many hours enjoying the view, which included a family of loons who came to fish for minnows not far from our dock. A truly delightful stay. Thank you to the new owners!

    Modern amenities • vintage design - 5 Stars!

    Loved every minute of the kitchenette spaces. From the retro chic decor to the updated, modern bathrooms, our kitchenette had everything we needed. The lake views here are breathtaking. 30 steps out of your room’s back door and you’re looking at a the pier, fog rolling off the lake, and loons diving for their first meal. I can’t wait to share this hidden gem with my friends and family. Cheers!

    Nice motel

    Super clean with a well equipped kitchen. The new bathroom was a nice surprise. The electronic door lock was a pain and did not work properly. Overall a very nice stay!

    Cozy Lakeside Gem

    Absolutely love the mid-century/Scandi motif throughout the property. It's a vintage up north feel with the luxury of updated bathrooms and kitchenette. Everything was extremely clean upon arrival, the beds were very comfy and our sleeps were incredibly peaceful as we kept the windows open with the cool lake air flowing in at night. The location and views of South Turtle Lake from this property are unbeatable, especially when catching a sunset.
