Spend the winter at our fully-updated cabin in the woods! Our cabin is just above the snow line so you will experience gently-falling snow right outside your window. We are the closest neighborhood to Bear Valley for skiing, and our private lot is perfect for sledding! We are dog friendly and welcome families and young kids.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Amanda's home! She was super communicative, the Adirondack chairs on the deck were magical to sit and look over the trees, and we enjoyed the well-stocked and cozy atmosphere! Will be back next summer!

Absolutely loved our stay! The home was beautifully decorated, and even better than the photos. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared — from the cozy linens to the fully stocked kitchen. The location was perfect: peaceful and close to everything we needed. Amanda was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything for a comfortable stay. We felt right at home and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, worry-free getaway!

Great house

The house was fine and the kitchen is well stocked. The information for check in needs to be more complete re the keypad and the key needed to get in. Thankfully I asked about it before we got there and we were able to get in.

our fam’s review

We thought the property and home were beautiful and in a good location! The kitchen was fully stocked, updated appliances and overall nicely decorated. Our only criticism was that it smelt like animal urine, especially when sitting on the floor and on the couch. We loved that it was pet friendly and ultimately was why we booked it but the smell was very overpowering. Also, upon checking in we were never sent in check in information so we had to call when we got there. Other than those two things, we loved it! Thank you for having us!

Beautiful

Great location at least for hiking in the area and at Calaveras Big Trees State Park. So grateful for being a dog friendly home. Convenient to Arnold for huge selection of organic groceries.

Perfect cabin

This is our fourth time to the area, staying in various cabins. We all agree that this one is our favorite! We wanted a place where we wouldn’t have to drive to go sledding and this place delivered. Snow literally right outside the door. Kids played in the snow on the deck and went sledding right outside the door. Very clean place with the perfect mix of modern home and cozy cabin.

Great cozy place!

We loved our stay! We had a fire in the fireplace, walked around the neighborhood, and even sledded right in the yard! The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, wifi was fast and the smart TV was great. The space was perfect for a romantic getaway and our dog loved it! Nice and secluded, very close to Arnold and all skiing/snow park activities. Will DEFINITELY be back!

Clean, well-appointed cabin in a great location -- we'll be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy and well-appointed mountain cabin. It was so clean when we arrived, which is one of the top things I look for in a rental, so we were off to a great start. We were two couples traveling with a toddler as well as two dogs, and we couldn’t have been more comfortable. Because the bedrooms are situated on different levels (each floor with a bathroom), it’s a great situation for two families or multiple couples traveling together. We gave our daughter the bedroom and slept in the loft, which was a perfect situation for us. Beyond the great sleeping situation, we were really happy with how well-appointed the cabin was. The kitchen is recently updated and has pretty much everything you’d need to cook big dinners every night. Pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker, pasta strainer, you name it. Beyond the cabin itself, the location couldn’t be more perfect. It’s in a quiet neighborhood (great for long morning walks), close to coffee and downtown Arnold, and a short drive away from a variety of lakes that are great for swimming and water activities in the summer, and what I imagine are fabulous snow activities in the winter. We have already booked our second stay, this time for the winter! We already can’t wait to come back.

Great winter wonderland

Check in was at 4p we arrived at 2:30p was able to call the property manager and check in early. The cabin was clean and all of the amenities looked newly updated. The cabin was really nice inside and out. I loved that we could sled and play in the snow right there on the property. They had pots and pans, coffee maker and even a washer/dryer. I will definitely be staying again.
