Thoughtfully renovated 3-bedroom cottage with all-new everything. Wake up & enjoy coffee on the private deck, stroll 100 steps to the private beach & watch the sun rise over Lake Erie. Make a fabulous dinner in the new kitchen or cook-out on the grill. After sunset, turn on the twinkle lights & enjoy some local wine fireside. Fall asleep to the sounds of waves & crickets. Wonderful property and excellent host

Ladybird cottage is a very cute property at the end of a quiet private association street. While there is a property (with very quiet and friendly owners) to the immediate left, the deck off the side of the cottage feels very secluded.Overall, a great place to stay with a very responsive, very cooperative, owner.

Our second stay in this cottage. It is a comfortable, homey place that, for us, is close to nearby family. We didn't have perfect weather, some rain, some sunny days, and the Canadian smoke made the last couple days a bit hazy.

Lakeshore cottage

Great location on Lake Erie. Neat cottage, on-site beach, tranquil surroundings and renowned sunsets. Short drivings to many wineries and restaurants and to the sandy beaches and water activities on the Peninsula in Erie.

Excellent stay!

This collage is perfectly imperfect - feels like home immediately. We were in North East to visit family, and this cottage was the perfect landing place for us. The private location made for a quiet stay, and the attached beach was a wonderful place for contemplation, listening to the waves, etc. We look forward to staying again!

Peaceful Ladybird Cottage

We enjoyed our time exploring Lake Erie with the wildlife (saw an Eagle, Woodpecker and young snapping turtle) right around the bend from the cottage. Yes the sunsets were amazing, wine sampling enjoyable, Erie Zoo and Presque Isle were fun! The cottage let us unwind and relax with all the amenities we needed. Grocery stores & restaurants near by (Skunk and Goat was delicious). We even traveled to the Barcelona Lighthouse (first natural gas powered) and Findley Lake shops. Loved our visit! Thanks Holly!

Relaxing Vacation on the Lake

My husband and I stayed a few days without the kids (although this property is kid-friendly and they would have had a great time there too). The house is clean, comfortable, well-furnished and exactly as advertised. The hosts are helpful and communicative. Everything was great.

Perfect Lakeside Comfort in North East, PAWe had an absolutely wonderful and comfortable stay at this lakeside cottage. The location in North East, PA is excellent—it offered the perfect proximity to everything we needed while maintaining a genuinely peaceful and secluded atmosphere right by the water.We were lucky enough to enjoy beautiful fall weather, which made the stay even better!The host has made this cottage feel immediately like home. The attention to detail is remarkable, starting with the thoughtful welcome basket of snacks and supplies. The kitchen was fully stocked, making meal preparation effortless.The tranquil setting allowed for easy access to enjoy the beauty of the lake. We especially loved the outdoor amenities: the spacious yard, patio, and firepit were fantastic. A shout-out to the very nice neighbors (on the left) as well!This was a seamless and relaxing experience, managed by an excellent host. We wholeheartedly recommend this comfortable and well-appointed lakeside getaway.

Ladybird cottage is a gem, nestled peacefully on the shores of Lake Erie, my friend & I enjoyed our stay, we spent a lot of our time on the beach, collecting rocks and water coloring on the picnic table right along the shore. Very nice amenities, and the beds were so comfy!! My friend did all of the cooking and she was pleased to have a fully supplied kitchen to cook in. We however could not get the grill to light, we gave up after a few tries and just cooked our steak inside. We had a lovely fire every night & enjoyed listing to our music while we painted rocks & just relaxed. Just two fifty something year olds trying to relax and enjoy life a little. The cottage was clean, warm & inviting. Thank you Ladybird cottage for letting us rest our weary heads for a bit.

Excellent little getaway

My husband and I were looking for a place just to relax and visit the local wineries and area attractions for an extended weekend. Holly's place was the perfect fit! Her beach cottage was charming. Located in a quiet, private neighborhood within steps to Lake Erie. You can tell she put lots of thought into the details: beach themed decor, comfortable bed, dedicated work space, patio area, gas grill, and extra supplies in case you forgot to pack an essential item. We were sad to leave, but will be sure to visit again! Thank you, Holly!

It's a lakeside gem! Totally private deck with fire-column, grill, outdoor furniture. 100 steps from a private beach, 30 steps from private, grassy park. Plus recently completely renovated with every modern amenity.
